This is a great property. You do need a car but the town of Colico is just a 10 minute drive and you can easily get to Varenna and then a ferry over to Bellagio. The views from the home are spectacular, our group of 6 were very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing villa. Great views. Good communication especially with Michele nearby. Pool is shared but the view is spectacular. Would definitely recommend. Whole process very easy. We had a great week

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! The view from the pool is absolutely breathtaking. Just be aware that the pool is shared so you don’t have private access. The guests we shared it with brought loud speakers and were jumping into the pool directly next to us and splashing us which was not ideal but that’s to be expected when you share the space. We didn’t let it ruin our time. The house is exactly as pictured. The bedrooms downstairs don’t get much air from the AC so those were very very warm at night. I recommend closing the blinds completely in those areas to assist. Overall this was a lovely stay and we would come back again. The price was very reasonable.

We came to Lake Como for my son’s wedding in Varenna. The Villa was stunning with amazing views and the perfect location, The pool overlooks the lake and the 360 degrees view of the mountains were fantastic. We were a group of 11 and there was plenty space for us all, inside and out. Some of our family members had rented an apartment next to our villa. We spent quality time together around the pool. Michele was quick to respond to messages and was able to recommend a contact for taxis to get all 16 of us back after the wedding. We take home the most amazing memories. Thank you for an incredible holiday.

We had an amazing family vacation to celebrate my parents’ 50th. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the refreshing daytime dips in the pool. I am an anxious/over planner and Michele provided me with great responses to all of my questions that made our trip memorable— including enjoying his mothers lasagne one night which made for a lovely stay at home family dinner. Some people in my family (there were 8 adults) hadn’t wanted to rent a second car (they had arranged private transport) but a car is a must — short drive to colico and we also enjoyed varena (and took the ferry there over to bellagio)

Beautiful villa, well equipped extremely clean and a view that is just out of this world. The town of Colico on the northern side of the lake is well worth the stay. Hardly any tourists, no crowds, far cheaper than other more busier areas. Great local restaurants and wonderful food. Take the ferry and avoid the crowds.

Just back from our family stay, and it was perfectly wonderful. The highlight was sitting together at breakfast to a back drop of lake Como - what more can you ask. Recommend the little wine bar just 100m down the road - beautiful hosts and thank you for looking after us

Amazing place and view, pictures couldn’t do it justice. We had a great time there despite all the ferries and activities were cancelled due to high wind. The location is quiet away from the busyness of other part of the lake. There was even a trail to the left of church with a great view of Lake Como and the mountain. We look forward to be back again

This was a great find! Nestled in a quiet quaint hilltop community, the house and property are very clean and well taken care of. 4 decent size bedrooms with very comfy beds. Amazing views of Lake Como and the mountains.Host was very responsive and accommodating. Provided clear instructions for check in and check out and also answered all our questions.Would definitely stay at this lovely villa again.

Perfect stay at Lake ComoWe stayed at Michele’s villa with 8 people and had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect: the villa was very clean, the infinity pool was beautiful, and the view over Lake Como was stunning. Michele is a very friendly and welcoming host, who even helped us reserve a local restaurant where we enjoyed excellent food at a fair price. The villa is also a great base to explore different towns around the lake as well as Milan. We would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Michelangelo! There was plenty of room for our family, and the views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking.The host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!
