Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Parking for 2 cars.. All properties: Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Games room with pool table and darts (shared). 10½-acre landscaped and wooded grounds (shared). Children’s play area with wendy house, swings and slide (shared). Outdoor heated swimming pool (shared, 11m x 3m, depth 0.9m to 2.1m, open 1st May to 30th Sep) with changing facilities. No smoking. Please note: The leisure facilities are shared between the cottages on-site.. Set amid 10½-acre grounds, complete with outdoor heated swimming pool, games room with pool table and darts, children’s play area, these six holiday properties (26767, 26768, 27123, UKC284, UKC285 and UKC1844) occupy a beautiful setting. Named after British apples, they have been imaginatively converted from former fruit barns. On arrival, dive into the welcome pack.

All the properties at Horselake have a private garden or courtyard, whilst enjoying the freedom to roam the grounds and make the most of the shared facilities. Ideal for exploring South Devon with its stunning coastline, and resorts such as Dawlish and Teignmouth. Rugged Dartmoor is only a short drive, and many family attractions are within easy reach including National Trust-owned Castle Drogo, Fingle Bridge, the Teign Gorge, and Canonteign Falls and Country Park. The properties are within 10 miles of the old cathedral city of Exeter, with its many varied attractions including a racecourse, shopping, antique shops, guided tours and a host of summer festivals. Fishing on the River Teign, 3 miles. Golf 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant within 1 mile.

Great cottage in lovely surroundings, well equipped and comfortable, ideal for a short relaxing break with friends. Loved the heated swimming pool and the grounds for walking our two spaniels. Nice walk along the Bridle path just over the road from the cottage entrance. We had a lovely welcome from Sheila who gave us tips on local eateries etc… I did just mark down on one star as there were some areas like the games room and the swimming pool area that could do with some TLC and maintenance.

We really enjoyed our time at Sunset Cottage.

An excellent cottage, with super kitchen equipment - a real home from home.

An excellent cottage, with super kitchen equipment - a real home from home. Very friendly and helpful owner. We have a 6 month old Springer Spaniel - the small enclosed garden area was great, but even better was the large grassed area literally across from the cottage, so he hardly ever needed to be on a lead. The cottage was spotless when we arrived. Showers were great too!!
