Love the cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Very grateful for the fact that you get a towel for the hot tub and a towel for the shower. The hot tub area is well thought out. Even with the shutters up it still feels private.
I would definitely recommend the cottage.

Amazing cottage, loved the hot tub, grounds and welcome package was a nice touch.
Amazing cottage, loved the hot tub, grounds and welcome package was a nice touch. The local pub is across the road and the home made food is beautiful everything was very reasonably priced also only 4 minutes in the car to hamsterly forest which was great for the dog/picnic and a day out, or 30 min walk but you need to walk along the main road so I preferred to drive. Great location will 100% be back.

Roslyn cottage is brilliant.
Roslyn cottage is brilliant. It is located just outside Hamsterley forest and within 30 mins walking distance, great if you have a dog. The hot tub has an enclosure which was perfect to relax in after the walk and our dog was happy to sit by the side (there was a gate to stop him getting out which was well thought of). Everywhere was clean and all the space was well used. The price was amazing for the luxury you got. There are only houses in the surrounding area, no shops so make sure you stock up at Crook before you get there, although there is a lovely welcome package waiting for you when you arrive. Would definitely stay here again, especially in cold months where it is needed to have cover over your hot tub!

The cottage was lovely, well equiped, comfortable and spotless.
The cottage was lovely, well equiped, comfortable and spotless. The grounds which it was located was ideal for our dog to have freedom to run around in the secure garden. The hot tub was fabulous, relaxing and stress relieving, being under cover and having the option of keeping the wind and cold out by putting electric shutters down was great - even a tv/dvd player to watch. Lots of places around to visit. The Cross Keys pub dog friendly a short walk, where we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely lunch. Would definately return to this property as it had everything we needed and wanted.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village for walking and exploring the local area.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely village for walking and exploring the local area. The cottage is beautifully furnished with lots of room and all home comforts to make you stay very memorable . The hosts Paul and Sue who live just in front of cottage are available to help with any problems and left a lovely welcome pack which was greatly appreciated . The hot tub in covered area straight out the kitchen is the highlight which covered so usable in all weathers with electric lights and electric shutters so if weather is bad can be closed so you stay dry. There are TVs in both bedrooms and outside in hot tub areas so you can watch your favourite programs while enjoying a soak and watching the beautiful countryside . Will defiantly return a lovely stay one of the best cottages I have stayed in will not disappoint .
