Welcome to Casa Los Pinos, a modern detached three-bedroom villa with pool which has been carefully designed to cater for everyone, allowing for a relaxing and stress-free holiday for all the family and/or friends.

LIVING AREAS
A short flight of wide steps leading from the drive way to the terrace and front door gives access to Casa Los Pinos.
The living room contains a leather sofa, large flat screen Smart TV, free to view TV box, Wii game console, DVD player and coffee table. There is a remote-controlled air-conditioning unit for heating/cooling covering the living room, dining room and kitchen area and a pellet fireplace.
Leading from the living room is a corridor to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

KITCHEN + DINING
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric fan-assisted oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, electric extractor, stainless-steel sink with drainer, frying pans and saucepans, plates and bowls, including some plastic ones for the children, plenty of utensils and other complementary items. Alongside the kitchen, there is a large dining and cooking area.

BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS
An archway from the living room leads to a corridor for the bedrooms and bathrooms. This comprises of three bedrooms (Bedroom one and two have king-size beds and Bedroom three has twin beds) and all bedrooms have built-in bedside cabinets and dressing tables, built-in wardrobes with sliding mirror doors, bedside lights, remote-controlled air-conditioning for heating/cooling, flat screen TV’s and electric window shutters with built-in mosquito nets.
There are two bathrooms. Bathroom one has a walk-in shower, towel rail, vanity unit and toilet and bathroom two has a toilet and sink.

THE GARDEN + OUTSIDE KITCHEN
The garden consists of electric secure gates and a large driveway suitable for three vehicles. The garden is mostly on one level with a couple of steps from the driveway down to the pool, sun loungers and umbrellas.
There is a chill-out area with seating facilities and nighttime lights for the relaxing summer evenings.
The outside kitchen is all undercover with electric blinds, ideal for winter or summer usage. The outside kitchen comprises a handmade solid wood table and chairs for twelve guests, stainless-steel sink with drainer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, built-in gas BBQ, extractor, fridge freezer, dishwasher, flat screen Smart TV and Wi-Fi.

SPECIAL FEATURES
For further security and peace of mind, the villa is equipped with smoke detectors, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and fire blankets.

Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are included per person.

Pool heating, cots, and highchairs are available but must be arranged prior to arrival.

Amazing villa and facilities

Beautiful villa in a great location. The downstairs BBQ area was so handy. The villa was very clean and tidy with everytbing we could need. Prompt responses with the owner when needed and all communication dealt with in a timelt manner. Would certainly book again.

Family Holiday Summer 2014

We had an excellent holiday in a lovely area. The villa was superb. It had plenty of space, really clean, comfortable beds, the private pool was ideal and the outside kitchen was fantastic. It had everything you needed for great holiday. You are walking distance from the beach although a car is really needed to travel to other beaches and supermarkets. There are plenty of local restaurants which were a high standard.

Summer Vacation Alicante

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house itself was even bigger than we expected and perfectly clean when we arrived. We had to shop a lot, and because we needed a lot of water the 15min trips to the nearest grocery store were quite tiring, but that has nothing to do with the house, and was also stated on the website if i remember correctly. Overall we were super happy with the house and location.

Early summer wibes

We had a great stay in the villa. It is well placed, close to Calpe and offers nice pool and spa area, outdoor kitchen and a cozy pellet stove. The villa is in good condition. We chose pool heating which made the pool available eventthough it was February. Overall we were happy with our stay and plan to come back.

Great villa well equipped and a pleasant stay. Owner very fast in responses. My only criticism would be the pool cover is hard to put on and off the pool as we are in our young 60’s a roll up cover would be ideal.

Great Holiday

We all really enjoyed our stay. every thing was clean and tidy and Katie made us feel very welcome. The kids loved the pool and outside areas. We hired a car but found we could walk to Calpe. It was about 10,000 steps there and back, with places to stop along the way. Would recommend a visit to Les Fonts de l’algar as it was amazing!!

Great villa with impressive facilities

Enjoyed a really relaxing weeks break in this villa in February'24. Villa was really well equipped - 3 good size double rooms and great living area. Smart TV's in every room and air con throughout, as well as pellet fire in main living room which was great in the evenings at this time of year. Outside area was hugely impressive - very well presented gardens with lovely lighting, outdoor kitchen, heated pool which the kids loved and a very relaxing hot tub. Outdoor shower, toilet and lots of space to catch the sun and plenty areas for shade when needed. Was very surprised to see a well provided for welcome pack in the kitchen and fridge - massively grateful and completely unexpected. Would completely recommend this villa - car is essential but that is well described in the advertisement, but that privacy and location was something we wanted. Villa itself is very secure - good high level fencing, metal access door and electric metal gates with ample parking.

What a beautiful villa!

The house is super well equipped inside, with everything you may need and more. But the real appeal for me was the outside space. Loads of space, a big swimming pool (no shallow end for the v little ones), which needed no heating mid June this year. Around the pool, the space is built to live outside really. A jacuzzi, various spaces to relax and avoid the sun in high heat. And an amazing outdoor kitchen which means you can have a bbq, cold drink or your morning coffee outside too! Katie was super responsive when we had queries which was a bonus! Villa is located a good 15 min walk down to the beach (its very hilly!) But only takes 5 min in the car which was perfect for us. I would say you need a car as only a handful of places are walking distance otherwise. I highly recommend it and would happily come back!

Nice property with some flaws and unprofessional host

The property itself is really nice and spacious but needs some maintenance. Cleanliness inside the house was ok at first sight. But at a closer look, there were some not so clean corners - sticky handles, stains on cushions, dirty dishes etc. The outside area was not very clean - the barbeque table was covered in stains from wine bottles and we found a cup full of cigarette buds from the previous renters. We did not complain about it, we just cleaned it up so we could enjoy our vacation. On our second day, the power went out in the washing machine room. With no access to the power switch, we had to call Katie for help who quickly came by to fix the problem. The trouble started one day later when we decided to book the pool heating because the water was colder than expected. They sent someone to start the heating but it only ran for a short time before it stopped (the timer should have re-started it but never did). This went on for a couple of days until we decided that it was not worth it and cancelled the booking for the pool heating. They tried to blame us for the issue because our daughter had accidentally let out some water (worth about 10€) which we apologized for and had nothing to do with the heating. We also had a day without warm water and another one without gas for cooking. It took longer each time for them to react and they were clearly annoyed by us - as if all of this was our fault. Very unprofessional behaviour. Beautiful place but would not book again.

Thank you for your comments, we can only apologize for any areas you were not happy with, we strive every time to make our client's stays a pleasant one and in the 11 years of renting this property, we have only had good comments. We would like the opportunity to cover your points. With regards to any failures in cleaning, this is unforgivable, we have a fully professional local company to carry out this work and never have they let us down. The pool heater was switched on the day you asked for it, when we left, the heater was timed to come on at 4.00 am to which we then received a call from you at around 10.30 pm to say the pool was emptying! You did admit that your daughter had been playing with the heater and had turned a valve, which happened to be the waste valve and a considerable amount of water was lost due to this resulting in a very high water bill to replace. It is stated in your booking agreement, which you signed, that the buttons on the pool or jacuzzi are to not be touched. We were not so concerned about the high amount of water loss, but more the fact that the pool was now colder due to having to refill the pool and to heat this new water, was going to be impossible in a short period of time. It is for this reason that we ask for the pool heating to be confirmed before arrival so that we can get it set up and check it is ok before our guest's arrival. Katie did discuss this with you to which you decided not to have the pool heated. Regarding the electrics tripping, this has never happened before and as you said, Katie dealt with it quickly. Regarding the gas, in normal circumstances a bottle would last at least a couple of weeks and we always have a spare on hand as you did and very kindly you switched this on for us saving us a visit. Regarding the boiler, you informed us, and the earliest we could arrive at the house, was early evening due to the person who could deal with this being committed elsewhere, a distance away. The issue was fixed as quickly as possible and within minutes hot water was made available. Close to 100 visitors can confirm that we strive wherever possible to go over and above expectations, with many of our visitors returning year after year, on this one occasion we obviously couldn’t meet your expectations, please accept our deepest apologies.

Great Villa!!! Accessibility bit difficult, would recommend a car!!

This Villa was perfectly presented, with ample amenities. The owners were excellent at communication. Be aware that the Villa is in a quiet area, a 20 min walk from the nearest shop and bar, also the little beach of La Fustera. The walk home is all uphill, and a big slog in the heat. The taxi telephone numbers listed at the property were not of any use as they just didn't answer the phone! You also cannot pre-book a taxi in Spain, you call when you want them, but as we found out, there are only about 8 cars serving the whole area! We managed to get to Calpe a couple of times but other than that we stayed local either at the English bar La Fustera, very friendly place, run by John and Sharni. Closed Monday and Tuesday, but do things all week, including Sunday lunch! or at the Mandala Bar on the beach. The pool was attended to twice a week and Simon was helpful and polite. The only thing we found negative was the MOSQUITOS or bugs. We really got hammered by them. There are some empty villas around and the stagnant pools do not help. We found it stopped us sitting outside in the chill out corner as we were being ravaged!! I would say the Villa is perfect if you intend to not really go out and about, but only because the Taxi situation is so bad. There is no Taxi rank by the Supermarket anymore as is stated in the Villa. We had a couple of teething problems but they were dealt with straight away by Katie and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend an Online food shop delivery from Mercadona. You can download the app and arrange it to come once you've arrived. A Godsend now, knowing the trek we would have to the local supermarket! Also, if you are not hiring a car, the best way of getting to and from the villa is by using a company called Benniconnect. Go online and you can arrange a return journey. It is a 50 min drive from Alicante Airport. They were prompt, polite, efficient. Their desk is inside the Airport by the exit. Your Sky card will not work in the boxes in the Villa as rules have changed. The Bluetooth speaker in the downstairs kitchen was useful. You need to choose the 'bt' (bluetooth) option to connect to stuff like Spotify etc. The WiFi connection was a bit hit and miss, and sometimes I had trouble connecting downstairs. All in all we had a great time at the Villa, as long as you know what to expect. Thank you to Katie and her family.

Hi Samantha and Family, Thank you for your review on our villa, we are pleased that you enjoyed the villa and its amenities. I would just like to respond to some of the points you have made in your review just to follow up and update you. We do always recommend a car as the villa is not situated in Benissa or Calpe town so the main large supermarkets ie. Mercadona, Consum and Lidl’s, are not within walking distance, and yes, as with most places in Spain there are some hills. I have looked into the Benissa Taxi and have since found out that this year there has been an issue with the taxi service in Benissa. The Mayor of Benissa has a meeting to resolve this issue in the upcoming months. Since the BP garage has recently been installed in Fustera, the taxi rank has now been moved to in front of the Chinese restaurant which I was not aware of, so I do apologise for the mistake that you read. Pre-booking taxis’s has been an issue for the past 20+ years that we have lived in Spain unfortunately, slowly it is becoming more available but not quite fast enough. Generally, when you call for a taxi they will be with you within 5-10 minutes or less. Regarding this stagnant pool that you have mentioned, we have since had meetings with the department in charge for the Urbanization of Altamira, which the villa is located in. We have placed a formal complaint, which has been lodged with the President of the urbanization and there are already plans in place to resolve this, we have a meeting scheduled too. We were not aware that this urbanization pool had been left in this state and we will be following through to get this resolved as a matter of urgency, but we do apologise. We have since had a company round to spray the garden to help with the Mosquitos and we are already looking at the options of permanent installations for future. We really do hope that you will revisit are property again in the future.

Der Aufenthalt war schön, die Räume sauber, ein Bettlaken war verschmutzt, In der Kaffeemaschiene waren noch Kaffeereste im Goldfilter mit Schimmelansatz also nicht nutzbar, Die Gartenmöbel waren auf einen Haufen zusammengeworfen und glich eher einem Sperrmüllhaufen, auch diese haben wir nicht genutzt. Das große TV im Wohnzimmer einen Sky Reciever mit nur wenigen deutschen Programmen, also kleines TV im Schlafzimmer genutzt. Der Schlüsselsafe war nicht verschlossen, es hätte jeder hinein gehen können, etc . Alles in allem sehr enttaüschend für den Preis!

Dear Ralf, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the house clean and had an enjoyable stay overall, though we’re genuinely sorry that some aspects didn’t meet expectations. The coffee machine should, of course, have been properly cleaned. This was an oversight on our part, and we've spoken with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Similarly, the marked bed sheet should have been picked up on, all linen is professionally laundered and anything not up to standard is discarded, so this was clearly missed and has now been addressed. The garden furniture had been grouped together in a sheltered spot just before your arrival due to strong winds. It’s usually laid out ready for guests, but in this case, we had to protect it from possible damage. We understand this may have looked untidy and not how you expected to find it. I normally message guests to let them know when we’ve done this, so they’re aware on arrival, but on this occasion, I forgot, so that was my mistake, and I do apologise. With the television, we’re aware that due to broadcasting restrictions and the shift towards internet-based viewing, satellite channels have become more limited, especially for international content. This is why we’ve provided a smart TV in the living room, allowing guests to stream their preferred services. The property also has fibre internet throughout, so streaming should be smooth and reliable. That said, we know this doesn’t suit everyone, and we’ll continue to look at ways to improve the setup. Regarding the key safe being left unlocked, this shouldn’t have happened, and we can only apologise. We’ve now made sure this is something that’s double-checked before every arrival. We’d also like to mention that when you reported an issue with the jacuzzi during your stay, we visited the property the same day and were able to sort it out for you straight away. We always aim to deal with any issues promptly and personally, and we’re glad we could get this resolved. We also just want to say that had we known about any of these issues during your stay, we would have done our best to sort them straight away, just as we did with the jacuzzi. We always encourage guests to let us know if something isn’t as it should be, so we can address it and put it right at the time. Following your review, we carried out another inspection of the property and identified a few other areas that required further attention and these have now been addressed. We truly care about maintaining high standards and giving our guests the best possible experience. We were a little surprised by your comment regarding the equipment, as the owners recently invested a great deal of time and care into the property. Just last year, the entrance and driveway were completely upgraded, a new path and feature garden were added, and the interior was fully redecorated. We also carried out a review of the equipment and amenities at that time. We always aim to keep everything in good condition and do our best to make improvements whenever we can between bookings. That said, we genuinely welcome guest feedback, so if there were any particular items you felt could be improved, we’d be grateful if you could let us know, as it really helps us keep the property up to standard for future guests. Beautiful property. Everything you could possibly need is provided.

Absolutely fabulous property in a nice quiet location but only 15 mins walk to a couple if nice bars/restaurant's. Had a couple of issues with the fire and gas supply but they were able to do a quick fix to make do until the part arrived as we did have a couple of very cold days. Wish we had stayed for longer as the area is lovely and so much we wanted to see but just didnt have time. Thank you Katie and Stuart. X
