Ellingham Cottages er beliggende i den smukke sogn St. Martins i den sydøstlige del af øen. Vi er kun to miles fra den maleriske havneby St. Peter Port og alligevel perfekt beliggende for nem adgang til sydkystens klipper og bugter. Vores nærmeste strand er Moulin Huet, som blev fanget i en række vidunderlige oliemalerier af kunstneren Renoir under sit ophold i 1883. Herfra deltage i de smukke klippestier for en spadseretur med fantastisk udsigt og adgang til mange andre bugter.

Der er også et udvalg af gode restauranter, barer, lokale butikker og supermarkeder inden for kort gåafstand fra The Ellingham Cottages. Busforbindelsen er kun få minutters gang væk og giver en fremragende service - herunder den altid populære ø-cirkulære rute samt den hurtige rejse til St Peter Port.

Excellent!

Our holiday was fantastic! The property was well equipped, superb location with shops and eateries within 5-10 minutes walk (and all the food in the local restaurants was delicious!), well placed for many walks along the cliff paths and easy to reach destinations further afield by bus. The team were all very helpful, providing useful information about the local area prior to arriving. The Library is well stocked with information and DVDs. We thoroughly enjoyed the large outside area with the football goal and other equipment. Would definitely love to return again. Thank you :)

Perfect self catering

Very well furnished. Great for us and our 3 adult children. Comfy beds. Great reception staff. Love the library! Very good!

The cleanliness of the property, both inside and out, was very high and the personal, extra touches laid on by the owners made what was already a lovely holiday, a fantastic one.

The Ellingham Cottages is a family business, owned and operated by Simon and Fiona Elliott. Simon has family connections with the Channel Islands and spent many happy holidays on the Bailiwick of Guernsey as a child. We moved to Guernsey nearly 15 years ago and now have two children. As a family, we love the relaxed, safe and fun environment that is Guernsey - and would love to share it with you!!

This three bedroom apartment is set in the peaceful holiday complex of The Ellingham Cottages and overlooks the good-size garden. The garden is ideal for relaxing in with plenty of places to sit and eat and enjoy a BBQ, a selection of outdoor games for the family to enjoy, children's toys, goal post and plenty of space to kick a ball around.

The three-bedroom apartment is on the first floor and has an open plan kitchen and living room including dining area, plus three spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the back garden and has a king-size bed, whilst the other two (large) bedrooms are each set up as a twin room. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and there is additionally a separate cloakroom. This apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users, as there is a standard flight of stairs to access the apartment.

There is a selection of great restaurants, bars, local shops and supermarkets within short walking distance of The Ellingham Cottages. The bus service is only a few minutes walk away and provides an excellent service - including the ever-popular island-circular route, plus the quick journey into St Peter Port.Our nearest beach is Moulin Huet which was captured in a series of wonderful oil paintings by the artist Renoir during his stay in 1883. From here join the beautiful cliff paths for a stroll with stunning views and access to numerous other bays.The Ellingham Cottages also has a Guest Library stocked with books, magazines, games, beach items and DVDs. There are also lots of pamphlets, maps, suggested walks and cycle routes and other information. You will be welcomed on arrival and shown to your cottage. Inside will be a small welcome pack of locally-sourced groceries so that you can enjoy a light snack before heading off to explore. We also provide a mid-week spruce up , whereby we give the apartment a quick clean and provide a clean set of fresh towels.
