Come be part of the North Tahoe experience and stay in this cozy vacation rental, perfect for families and groups of up to seven. When you're not skimming the slopes, enjoy the comfort this home offers, as well as the shared amenities, like a pool, hot tub, and sauna.

Located in the North Tahoe area in Northstar California Resort, this home puts you right in the middle of the action and within close proximity to the slopes. A shuttle is available for your convenience, and you'll be just seven miles from historic downtown Truckee. At home, you'll have a pleasant creekside setting and access to an unofficial, ungroomed ski back trail in the winter!

Step inside this well-lit, comfortable home and feel yourself relax instantly, thanks to the plentiful windows, warm, beige walls, and wood rafters and accents. Spend some time lounging on the plush furnishings in the living space while you watch the flatscreen cable TV with streaming access (you can use your own Netflix account). Hang out and get acclimated while you surf the Internet with the available WiFi to look for area attractions while you listen to your favorite music on the stereo/CD player before moving into dinner mode.

The living space, dining space, and kitchen are open, where you'll find everything you need to flaunt your culinary prowess. Whip up your favorites or try something new in the remodeled, custom full kitchen, and move from prep to cleanup with ease. Have a slow, enjoyable dinner with your guests at the table that seats six and is directly adjacent to the breakfast bar that seats three.

At the end of the day when its time to unwind, head downstairs to choose your sleep options. Rest well on the queen-size bed in the master bedroom. Your guests will enjoy the shared space in the other bedroom, which offers a queen and a twin bed. The loft provides a fun space for kids to call their own with small, fold-out futons and sleeping bags, as well as a flatscreen TV with a DVD player - a movie screening room for the little ones! With all these sleeping options and an additional sofabed, this two-bedroom (plus loft), two-bath condo accommodates up to seven guests.

When you come to Northstar California Resort in the winter, you'll never run out of things to do. When you're not gliding down the 3,170 acres of slopes, check out what the Village has to offer. Everything from cross-country skiing to snowshoeing to tubing and ice skating is at your fingertips.

If you like to get your heart pumping, try the free mountain tours or the bungee trampoline and ropes challenge course. Wander out later in the day to enjoy some live music for the perfect end to your day. Please note that traveling to this area may require four-wheel drive or chains in the winter.

Summer is just as fun at Northstar. Spend your days exploring the many hiking trails in the area, or take a leisurely bike ride along the designated bike path. Kids will love gem panning and miniature golf, and there's even pottery painting and candle making for the artist in you.

Take some time for yourself, and start making plans for your next memorable Tahoe vacation. Book your dates today!

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice place for a close family

  • 4 of 5

The loft was great for extra sleeping space. The bathrooms are small and all the way downstairs. The downstairs is tight so it is good for a close family... you will be in close contact. <br />

The unit was bright and nice. Heat tricky to operate.

Nice place

  • 4 of 5

The place was nice and neat. It had the basic essentials for cooking. We wish it was a little closer to Northstar. It is walkable but not with any gear.

Not ski in and out

  • 3 of 5

The property was advertised as ski in and out which is not true especially with limited snow. The heater was very difficult to regulate. The condo was comfortable in size but needs some updating in linens and beds.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see there were some frustrations with this stay. The home is not advertised as being a ski-in/ski-out; we do mention in the listing it's about a five minute walk to the slopes. The condo design can make heating difficult, and we apologize for this. Guests need to leave bedroom vents open so the downstairs can be heated. Thank you!

Fun time skiing

  • 3 of 5

Property was very clean. This condo does not appear to be ski in or out, especially with poor snow conditions. We were able to walk into the village. The shuttle service worked fairly well. The biggest issue was the heat. Very cold downstairs, too hot upstairs.

Very clean, well appointed condo with plenty of space!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this 'inviting' condo. We had a group of 6, and there was plenty of space for all of us to be able to spread out in. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, etc. The kitchen had just about everything you could think of - and everything was VERY clean. The property manager, maintenance person and cleaning folks were all very friendly. I can't say this is a true ski in/ ski out condo though. If there had been much snow, I can see that you could ski back to the condo, but it was a good 10 minute walk to the gondola and village. The shuttles were very convenient though, so it really wasn't a problem.

Tip on the parking pass - make sure to date it and put your name on it!
