About Paul Misencik
My wife and I moved to Javea four years ago looking for a more relaxed place to raise our two boys, and we found it in Javea. I was born and raised in Washington, DC however, and was loathe to give up the diversity and resources that a modern city provides, and Javea fits the bill nicely. Blending small-town friendliness with an international and cosmopolitan feel, Javea provides the best of both worlds for residents and vacationers alike. My wife Altamira is originally from Bilbao in the north of Spain, but she had been living in the USA for more than 20 years when we met and married, and was ready to come back home. We initially planned to come for only a one year sabbatical, but soon enough that turned into two years, then three... After a point we realized we just couldn't go back to the long work hours and cold winters we were used to, and we made the decision to settle down permanently here on the Costa Blanca.
Paul Misencik purchased this Villa in 2017
Why Paul Misencik chose Javea
When it was time to buy a villa, we relied heavily on Altamira's inside knowledge. She has been coming here regularly ever since she was a child, and knew exactly what to look for. No long drives up and down to get to the beach, no steeply sloped properties with stairs everywhere, no need to drive across town or navigate busy roads... she was on a mission. It took a lot of time and at least as much patience, but when she said she had the perfect location and a house she loved, I knew it would be ideal for our family. The result is Casa Lono. Comfortable, roomy, and with a warm spirit. Peaceful and quiet, yet close to the beach, nightlife, shopping, restaurants, and all the best that Javea offers. When love to get messages from guests that enjoy the house as much as we do! “Bonjour Altamira, bonjour Paul, Les trois semaines passées dans votre maison à Javéa ont été fantastiques. De vraies vacances dans une superbe maison avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Rien à dire, tout était parfait : jardin, piscine, voisins, vue mer,localisation..... Encore merci pour votre accueil très chaleureux lors de notre arrivée. Cordialement Chantal et Claude”
What makes this Villa unique
Our home blends the beautiful tosca stone arches, traditional wrought iron window bars, marble floors and exposed wood beams of the old coastal Spanish villas with more modern furnishings and appliances. We love to be able to sit in the porch or BBQ area with friends and watch the children have plenty of space to swim, run, play football or ride bycicles in the large pool area. It is spacious enough that we all can enjoy ourselves without feeling overcrowded. Those moments with good food and friends is what life is about. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
