Welcome to Kamaole Sands, one of Kihei's most sought-after resorts! Māla Nani at Kamaole Sands is our TOP ''A'' RATED, garden view home in the HIGHLY DESIRED BUILDING #7.

Our inviting ground floor unit is ideal for couples and families, especially those with little ones. This spacious one-bedroom, two-bath condo includes a comfortable king bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen. Also included are flat screen TVs, and convenient in-condo washer/dryer. Enjoy the comfort of air conditioning in both the living room and master bedroom for a relaxing stay.

Check-in is 3:00pm. Check-out is 11:00am. Late check-out is available for an additional ½ the nightly rate +tax up to 7:00pm (available from May-October only, so please plan accordingly).

If you're traveling with infants or small children, no need to bring all of your supplies. We work with a great company that will deliver cribs, seats, toys, accessories to our home prior to your arrival and pick them up after you leave (you pay rental company directly).

Kamaole Sands is a lush 15-acre property located in sunny South Kihei. The property has beautifully manicured grounds, four tennis courts, eight barbecues, swimming pool with children's wading pool, and two Jacuzzis. A short two minute walk across the street is one of Maui's most famous beaches, Kamaole Beach Park III, where you can swim, boogieboard, surf, or enjoy whale watching (seasonal) and enchanting Maui sunsets.

The resort provides onsite services and is within walking distance of nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The front desk is open 24 hours daily. Facilities also include a Cyber-cafe at the main office for guests who wish to leave their computers at home.

KAMAOLE SANDS RESORT FEE: A one-time Kamaole Sands Resort Fee of $49 is included with your reservation. Castle Management also charges a "one time" $35 management fee for each arrival. We will cover that fee for you.

Visit the on-site Guest Services Desk to easily plan and book activities including snorkel trips, sunset cruises, helicopter tours, whale watching, biking Haleakala, and more. Just minutes away is the famous Wailea Resort with world class golf, shopping, dining, spas, and more fantastic snorkeling beaches.

Our condo and its lanai are a Smoke Free Zone. Smoking is allowed at seven designated smoking benches around the periphery of the property.

Excellent Vacation Property!!!

We came for a wedding and to vacation. The owner was very prompt to respond to any questions or inquiries. The property had everything we need to enjoy our time while in Maui. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great location and great communication!!!

Awesome family get away

We enjoyed our stay at Laurie and Glenn's home. Description of property was spot on and Laurie was extremely helpful and very prompt in answering any questions that I had. We will definitely come back for another stay!

We loved having the community bbq area and the pool area. Grocery store was so close and the condo had all the comforts of home!. Views were stunning and lots of places to walk around to enjoy the community. Many great restaurants within 2 miles.

Thank you again Laurie for a wonderful stay in your condo. It was clean, had all the necessities, and had the best view of the grounds from the lanai! We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds, the sunshine, and the smell of fresh Hawaiian coffee!

Great condo

Great unit in in a great complex. Right across from the beach and very close to the pool. Communication from Laurie was amazing and she helped organize delivery of baby equipment so we it was here when we arrived. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Beautifully decorated and very clean!

This unit was very clean and nicely decorated with modern amenities and furnishings. Friends of ours stayed in other units that were very outdated. My daugther and I loved staying here and would stay again. Laurie was great with providing all the paperwork in a timely and organized fashion - we loved our stay!

Great location!

This property is located right across from the beach which made it a great place for families. Great pool area and BBQ grills. The carpet in the bedroom made for a bit of a moldy smell and the tub in the master bathroom was slow draining so we couldn't use it. The kitchen was well stocked and made for great cooking. Overall we had a great time with a couple of minor bumps.

Great Condo, great beach location

This condo was great, so close to the beach and had everything you would need for your stay. The grounds at the Kamaole Sands were perfect, so well maintained. Loved the BBQ's at night after a long day at the beach and Mai Tai Wednesday at the pool was so much fun. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Kihei is the best location in Maui for the weather and beaches, this condo only added to the fun. Would recommend it and stay there again. Mahalo.

Perfect for us!

We really enjoyed the condo. Location was perfect, ground floor, nice grassy area and close to the pool - but not too close. A nice walk to the beach through the beautiful grounds. Laurie was really good to work with, answered all our questions and provided a ton of helpful info. It's obvious that they really care about the condo, it's clean and well appointed with everything you need. Comfy bed, nice pillows! We would defiantly come back here, thank-you Laurie!

Exactly what was promised!

We absolutely loved this property! The grounds were immaculate, easy access to BBQ, pool area and tennis courts. All were well kept and in amazing condition. We were able to walk across the street and start snorkeling! The condo was what was promised. Carpet a little dated in master but overall the place was clean! There was beach chairs, umbrella and cooler for use. I suggest taking a beach bag with you as there wasn’t one for use. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had about the property. There was plenty of kitchen supplies for anything we wanted to make and a starter supply of laundry detergent, paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap and a few spices. Overall we loved this property and would love to book again in the future. Mahalo for the use of your amazing property!

Great place along the shore

Our stay was very nice, with a great location and everything as described on VRBO. The beach is just across the road, and you are in the middle of the whole main drag of stores and restaurants on S. Kihei Road. This whole side of the island is a walk away, and easy enough to get to most things central or upcountry on Maui. Sunsets are the best on this side! The condo was a bit darker during the day than expected, a part due to being on the first floor but the living room and patio are well furnished and look into the main court yard. We didn't spend a lot of time there, so it's not major, but would have liked to take advantage of more around the condo grounds. Two beach chairs, towels and an umbrella came in handy! I would feel fine hosting a larger family (than two), since the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and there's two bathrooms and a lot of space. Overall, it's hard to beat.

Perfect homebase while staying on Maui

I spent a little over a week at Laurie and Glens condo with my mother and my 10 month old daughter. As hosts, Laurie and Glen were very responsive to any questions we had prior to booking their unit and Laurie even assisted in coordinating the rental of several baby items for our stay. During our stay there was a very minor issue with the sliding door, which Laurie took care of right away. The unit is in a great location and was very clean and well stocked with more than just the bare essentials. The photographs well represented the unit. The bed was very comfortable. The complex itself is meticulously maintained with gorgeous grounds and friendly staff as well as a helpful and knowledgable concierge service that provided us with a great overview of what to do during our stay. The complex is located across the street from one beach and is within walking distance to 3 other beaches as well as coffee shpps, restaurants and other stores. It's a great area for early morning walks. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll cafe down the street for coffee and baked treats. We are so glad we found this unit for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while on the island.

Wonderful Vacation Rental!

Thank you Laurie and Glenn for an enjoyable stay in your Maui home! We could not have asked for a better accommodation as your place provided absolutely everything we needed. Your home is very clean and thoughtfully furnished and comfortable and felt like a home away from home! The bathroom, kitchen and beach furnishings covered all the bases and more. We enjoyed the location of the resort in South Kihei for the easy access (a 2 minute walk across the pedestrian friendly street) to beaches, restaurants, shopping and roads to take us anywhere else on Maui we wanted to visit. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai every morning and the quiet garden views. To the left we could see the ocean! The resort is maintained very well and the grounds, gardens and water features are beautiful. We also appreciated the pool being nearby (but not too near for noise), the Wednesday Mai Tai parties, and the availability of the bbq areas. We liked your information notebook and we tried nearly all of the restaurants and found your recommendations spot on! Also, cudos to your management couple for their quick response to a technical difficulty with the TV! Perfect touches!

This condo is immaculate! Laurie and Glenn have taken great care to go above and beyond with all the simple touches that make a rental perfect! The bed was comfortable, the condo was clean, the decor was tasteful, and we felt right at home instantly! We didn't want to leave! I would recommend this condo in a heartbeat and will definitely stay here again! A few hints from our stay: 1) Eat at Fred's restaurant 2) Visit Po'olalenalena beach 3) Enjoy a sunset cruise 4) Snorkel at your Kamaole III - you will see amazing things! 5) If you attend the Old Lahaina Luau, get table seating... floor seating is very uncomfortable 6) Get some Shave Ice 7) Visit the little market behind Local Boys Shave Ice on S Kihei Rd - there is a lady with a beautiful little shop who sells Xmas ornaments, lotions, etc. - she's amazing! 8) Buy t-shirts from the 808 clothing company - they are designed by local artists! 9) Shop local!!!!! 10) Get a shave ice at Banyan Treats Kama'aina in Lahaina - it's the BEST here! 11) Get your produce at Costco and your booze at Safeway 12) HAVE FUN!!!! Amazing stay at kamaole sands

I can't speak highly enough of this property. This was our first time taking a vacation with our 1.5 year old son, and needless to say we were a bit nervous about having all the things we'd need. Laurie was so helpful in suggesting a rental company for the baby supplies we'd needed, which were there on our arrival. The condo was a great size and luckily the second bathroom fit a playpen perfectly so we could give our son his own space to sleep. While still having another bathroom to utilize. All the things needed for cooking/eating at home were there and the suggestion list for grocery stores and restaurants was so very appreciated. We ate at several of the suggested places and weren't disappointed. Being on the first floor was such an asset, being able to let our son play outside while we drank our coffee in the morning was lovely. And a really quick walk to both the pool and the beach. The patio doesn't get a lot of sun, we liked that as it meant the condo never got too hot and we could always have a place in the shade to sit. The AC in both the living room and bedroom worked well and we only had to turn them on at night as we couldn't leave the doors open to let the breeze pass through. Beautiful home away from home!

The condo was everything we expected! There was nothing we needed or wanted for. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to "live" there for the duration of the trip. There were start up spices, coffee filters, TP, garbage bags, paper towels, and tin foil just to name a few! In other condo's we have stayed in there was none of that! We bought a roll of tin foil and a big thing of Avocado Oil at Costco so hopefully we have helped someone else as they have helped us! There was a packet of coffee for that first morning which we really appreciated as we didn't get to the condo until midnight! The bed was incredibly comfortable which is really important to us! Having two bathrooms was great as well so we could both get ready at the same time! :) The location to the pool and BBQ's was perfect and we utilized both often. The beach was a 5 minute walk and we super happy to have chairs and a cooler to take with us! There is also an umbrella and kids sand toys but we didn't use those! The grounds of Kamaole Sands are absolutely beautiful and well kept.. that was a pleasant surprise. Laurie was really awesome to deal with and was easy to reach and quick! I look forward to staying again next year!

A MUST stay!

Fantastic property and a must stay for your trip to Kihei, Maui. This condo was perfect for our first family vacation (my husband, me and our 4-month old daughter). The condo: The condo was a perfect choice with one bedroom (king bed) and two full bathrooms! It was super clean and we felt comfortable with my daughter playing on the floor. While you expect to see the occasional bug, this condo didn’t have any. The complex does a great job of spraying. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We ate out mostly but did have one or two dinners in. There were enough pans and grilling utensils for us to make our meal. The option for air in both the living and bedroom space was ideal. While there was a great cross breeze we wanted to have the option to run air in both places and were so happy. Both air conditioners worked great! The location: The condo is perfectly situated in the middle of the complex. Close to the pool but not too close and the reserved parking spot was not too far away. The condo is on the first floor but the complex walkway is far enough away you don’t feel that other guests can look in. Complex: The complex grounds are very well maintained. They had a tennis court and other activities you could participate in throughout the week. They had many grilling stations, which we took full advantage of. They had a small kiddy pool which we appreciated it. It was next to the regular swimming pool but smaller and had the option to be shaded. That was a huge bonus for us! Location: This condo is in a great location in Kihei. Kamaole III beach is right across the street, which is great for watching the sunsets. We felt you could easily walk to many restaurants and food trucks from the the location. We drove mostly due to my daughter but both agreed it’s walkable. The management: Laurie was a great host and was in constant contact with us leading up to our stay. Instructions for checkin/checkout were easy to follow and she was very quick to reply to any questions we had. The staff at the complex as well was very friendly and helpful. Overall: We were so happy with our choice in condos. we know there are many options to choose from and would give this a 10/10 and recommend to everyone! Thanks for sharing your condo with us!! Our first family vacation was fantastic!

We chose Kamaole Sands for its excellent location in Kihei and proximity to the beach. It also has a wonderful pool and great BBQ areas. It's a great location for families, newlyweds and retirees alike.

We love our unit for its location within the complex. The ground floor access and garden location are ideal. It's perfectly situated between the beach, pool and BBQs. We offer an upgraded condo in a comfortable setting with all of the amenities of home.
