POLEHOUSE COTTAGE - located at Hunter Valley

Sit back and enjoy a sunset over the best view in the Hunter Valley with a glass of wine or treat yourself to a dip in your own private spa. The Polehouse Cottage, only 2hrs out of Sydney is a relaxing way to escape the rush of modern day life. The cottage is located on a large property in Rosebrook, 15 minutes outside of Maitland city centre.
It has 2 bedrooms consisting of1 king and 1 queen beds. Features include a deck and barbeque overlooking the Hunter River, private spa and fireplace.
Access to the Polehouse is via a dirt driveway and thus may not be suitable for sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance. Please keep the gate closed during your stay so that the cattle cannot enter the yard.

Opera in the Vineyards and other events at Hope Estate, 30 mins away.
Lovedale and Pokolbin Vineyards from 30 mins away.
Historic Town of Morpeth a Hunter River settlement is approx 20 mins away.
Barrington Tops National Park is approx 45 mins - 1hr away.
The city of Newcastle with its beautiful harbour, trendy restaurants and white beaches is only 45 mins away.
The beautiful beaches and dolphin cruises of Nelson Bay are only 1hr away.

Firewood will be provided between May and September to help warm the cottage in the evenings.

Comfortable cottage. Lovely fire in the living room and spa on the deck. Needs a little step handy for spa access. Brought our own this time plus needs a few more choices of bowls/plates etc in the kitchen but basic setting there. Plenty of towels and comfy beds.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Polehouse Cottage providing us with the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy some fresh country air. The house and spa were perfectly clean with comfy warm beds and an indoor fire that was sufficient heating. We’d definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous cottage, generous size, beautiful views. Would definitely stay again. The only issue was when we stayed (July 2023) the spa had no steps to get in/out so anyone who was vertically challenged or has mobility issues could struggle. But definitely loved the place.

Weekend Getaway

A beautiful, peaceful property to stay. Wanted to get away for a weekend and this is was the perfect place to relax. Leave the curtains open at night and have a beautiful view of the stars. Location was close enough to get essentials if you forgot anything and far enough from the other property with good privacy. The hot spa was the cherry on top of the stay. Thank you Nicholas for a fantastic stay! Will definitely be coming back ☺️
