. Nestled among the fir trees is our just built 600+ sq ft cabin. It has its own small secure private driveway, and is located in the Cherry Creek area, 8 miles south of Thompson Falls. It’s location to the forest often affords one sightings of deer, elk and other wildlife.
The cozy cabin has one bedroom with a comfortable double bed with a spacious closet. There is a twin size a hide-a-bed. There is an open loft upstairs accessed by a ships ladder. A bathroom with a spacious shower and a compact washer/dryer, detergent is ready for your use. The small but modern kitchen has a freezer/refrigerator, propane stove with oven, microwave. It also has a coffeemaker, toaster, cookware, dishes, glasses, utensils and S&P.
There is a 36’’ LED flat screen TV and BluRay/DVD player for watching movies with a small library of DVD’s. Outside on the 8ft porch is a nice table and chairs for you to sit, watch nature and breathe our fresh Montana air. Cell service is available.
Just .6 of a mile away is a public park with a boat launch facility. Enabling you to enjoy some of Montana’s finest fishing in the Clark Fork River. National Forest access is about 10 minutes away which affords hiking and western Montana’s famed hunting for whitetail deer and elk. The walking bridge to town is just a little over 4 miles away, great for biking. An outdoor fire pit is available when not restricted by fire season. No smoking or pets.
If you wish, we have available fresh organic garden produce (when in season) for meals second to none. There are restaurants in Thompson Falls for those who enjoy dining out. Other important businesses include a full service boat shop, sporting goods, groceries and hardware.
I tell folks that Thompson Falls is located in the center of distance to larger cities; it is about 100 miles in any direction to a Walmart. That is what makes this area special.
