Snellings View ofrece dos casas bellamente decoradas conectadas por una entrada central estilo recepción. Incredible stay at Snelling’s! Views were incredible and peaceful. The home is as pictured with updated, lovely furnishings. The host provided all the basics including beach chairs, towels and a wagon! The home is secluded so go prepared with food and drink. Everything was perfect!

fantastic location well appointed property

great property the only negative is the battery size for the property... we had two power outages (one planned, we were not notified by the caretaker) the battery ran on both occasions overnight when we were using no power???? we had no water to do... well you can imagine, then we were blamed for running the battery out!!!!!!

Has that 'wow 'factor!

Incredible views and a warm, comfortable space made this property a perfect island retreat. The gas fire was a cozy touch, and the place was very well-resourced with everything we needed. We loved coming back after a day of exploring. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day!

Best accommodation, we didnt want to leave. Spectacular view (from both bedrooms and main area), wildlife, the serenity, the set up - faultless. The only problem was, it was hard to drag ourselves away to see some of the sights of KI. Next time, we're not leaving

Perfection - and then some.

My family (husband and boys (7,9) had THE most amazing 4 days/3 nights at Snellings View. After a lot of researching, we concluded that the drive up to the northern area was worth the perfect accommodation. Our time at the property overlapped with the last burst of hot weather in April 2025, so while there were other jaw-dropping attractions on KI, we found ourselves in heaven- body surfing in crystal-clear water every day, down on the sand. Most days we had the beach to ourselves. One afternoon it felt a bit crowded, sharing with 4 other families!! LOL. There were fish in the water, rock pools to explore and enough power in the water to give the kids foam but not be dangerous at their ages. The property itself was so well-equipped. I’ve not stayed anywhere like it before. When we travel, I try to pick the item that’s missing or broken. There were NONE! Snellings has everything you could possibly need. We even brought our own CoolCabana tent with us and Nan had one in the cupboard. I cannot recommend Snelling’s View more highly. On arrival you’ll see the visitor book full of 100s and 100s of 5 star reviews – and now we know why! Perfection – and then some.

Snellings View

This was a brilliant house for 4 couples. Everyone had equally good bedrooms. Very comfortable and well set up.Snellings Beach is pretty isolated though - gravel roads wherever you travel and no shops anywhere near so have to be organised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend.

The house and the view were fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful well-kept house. The view was incredibly beautiful and it was a pleasure to see the kangaroos that come to eat near het house. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!

As Childhood friends Jenny and I had shared many wonderful holidays together with our families, adventuring to wonderful destinations around Australia. We were forever on the hunt for the ideal accommodation for two families of three and four children respectively, and this was always a challenge. We needed space to share together as well as needing space to be quiet and calm as separate families.

We had enjoyed many wonderful Kangaroo Island holidays together and voted Snelling Beach as our top spot. Ten years after our last trip we revisited K.I. and found the land atop Constitution Hill overlooking Snelling Beach was for sale. On a whim and a prayer we decided to form a partnership and build what we had always wanted to find on our combined family holidays, and Snellings View is the result.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Snellings View is a beautifully appointed beach house that consists of 2 separate 2-bedroom homes (view layout map) connected by a central reception-style entrance.

The East Wing and the West Wing can be rented individually for 2 to 6 people, or together for up to 12 people. Each luxurious wing contains a queen size master bedroom with ensuite and a second bedroom with queen size bed plus a single bed with a trundle (converts to Queen bed). The trundle option is mobile and can be moved to create the best configuration for your group. The second bedroom also has a private ensuite.

Each wing is best suited for a couple, 2 singles who need their own room or 2 couples who each want private facilities. Each wing can also accommodate a family with 2 adults and 2 children sharing a room, or a family with up to 4 children.

Two families, larger groups or a group with private room requirements will require both homes. We encourage you to contact us to discuss bedding configuration so that you can make the most of your time and budget.

The layout is perfectly suited to any one. From group family holidays, a get away for just the 2 of you or ideal as a destination for 2 couples.
The building is architecturally designed to maximize privacy, to capture natural light and to benefit from the temperate sea breeze.

Snellings is a family sanctuary. Our families love to spend days swimming or fishing in crystal clear aquamarine waters. We savor dining on fresh produce on the spacious balcony or in our private outdoor entertainment BBQ area. We explore Kangaroo Island’s myriad of wonderful attractions from protected conservation parks and caves, to Birds of Prey exhibitions, being entertained by the Sea Lions or the seals, or being mesmerized by the starry nights unspoilt by the any light pollution and watching the sun rise over the ocean are just a few ways we while away our Kangaroo Island sojourn. Plus lazy days just sitting and watching the grass grow or the eagles soar!

It is our pleasure to share our slice of paradise with our guests.
