Placitas Treasure

Charlotte and Arnaud have shared a spectacular New Mexico home. The house is sited perfectly on 1.5 acres to take full advantage of the geography and natural landscaping. It’s about as private and quiet as you can get. We confirm what others note about the home being well-equipped. And we can add that there are top-notch mattresses - a real bonus! Thank you for the kind hospitality.

Beautiful Home!

Our kids absolutely loved it here. Playing outside and checking out the toys was super exciting for them (ages 4, 6, and 9). The area was beautiful and so was the home. Absolutely would recommend!

This Stunning Santa Fe/Adobe style home is located in the beautiful mountain community of Placitas. The high desert landscape is Amazing! Charlotte has thought of every detail to ensure you have an enjoyable stay! The home is conveniently located between Albuquerque & Santa Fe! Our stay was way too short & we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful New Mexico Getaway

My family and I were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay in a special place. We found it in Charlotte’s home. It’s a beautiful adobe style house in the hills of Placitas. The area is very quiet with spectacular sunsets. The house has everything you could possibly need. It was spotless, comfortable and communication with Charlotte was very smooth. Very close to Santa Fe for a day trip. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Desert Retreat

This house exceeded all expectations. Charlotte has gone beyond all VRBO houses we have stayed in before. If this house doesn’t have it, you don’t need it. The adobe style house has interesting landscaping that fits in with the desert. She was very quick to answer any questions we had. Stay here if you want to be off the beaten path. Very peaceful.

Enjoyable stay

We had a pleasant and easy stay at this property. Communication with the host was very good, and we appreciated the guest book that was supplied (containing information about the cooling system, etc.). The sunsets, night skies, and storms were fun to view from the property. We hope to be back someday!

Great stay in a peaceful neighborhood

My family and I had a great stay at Charlotte's. The house is in a tranquil community of Placitas, NM where there are great views, relaxing drives, and a great place to just be. We saw a wild horse! Charlotte was very communicative and helpful and the house was lovely just as presented.

Beautiful home

Our family loved how peaceful and beautiful this home was. Tucked into the surrounding rolling hills gave a great since of privacy and feeling of being surrounded by nature. All communication with the Hosts was very smooth. Our family really appreciated the fun games, books and activities stored at the home.

Wonderful stay at beautiful home in an incredibly peaceful setting

My wife and I felt at home as soon as we walked into this beautiful home. The home included all the amenities we needed for our comfort and convenience, including a fully stocked kitchen- ideal for cooking. Coffee tasted delicious while sitting in the lovely patio overlooking New Mexico’s morning sunrise. We enjoyed the home’s peaceful surroundings and spectacular desert mountain views. The home provided a tranquil, clean, comfortable, and inviting setting for hosting our visiting family. Our stay in Placitas increased our likelihood of our eventual move to New Mexico. Lastly, the home is conveniently located close to numerous restaurants serving New Mexican cuisine, including sopapillas, breakfast burritos, green chile soup, enchiladas and huevos rancheros. :-) We will definitely return to this lovely home next trip to New Mexico. Adobe Retreat

We loved our stay here. Beautiful setting, great house, very clean and stocked. The phone service is also poor....but we unplugged for a few days. Wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay again.

Quiet Desert Living

I said to my husband, "Do you hear that?" He said, "I don't hear anything." I said, "Exactly." The increasingly rare actual quiet. This is a lovely house, well stocked for kicking back and relaxing--views from every window, comfy furniture, fully equipped kitchen, lots of outdoor seating, games and jigsaw puzzles, interesting books, a Bluetooth speaker for music, well, you get the idea. The owners have obviously put substantial thought into the decor, from the gorgeous cedar (?) floors to the rich desert color furnishings and artwork. And the grounds have been landscaped by someone who knows what they're doing--native plants and natural hardscaping that takes full advantage of the setting, a large property with privacy and open space. An authentic desert living experience (be prepared for a longish, winding way in from the main road). If you're seeking bustling towns and nightlife, this isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for a quiet spot to read a book, sip coffee, watch wildlife, and relax, this is just the ticket.

Peaceful & beautiful desert getaway!

We always wanted to know what it would be like to live in the desert. You made our dreams a reality! Very clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The property is amazing!! So much to do - just in the yard! Several seating areas with awesome views. Love how quiet & secluded it was, but still not too far from “city things”. The peaceful mornings on the back porch with visits from wild horses are memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!

Great property

My mother in-law came into town unexpectedly and this was the perfect place for her to stay. The house is very clean, comfortable, and inviting. The owners are very kind and accommodating. Communication with the owners is great and they are quick to respond. The house is gorgeous and in a wonderful area. We'd definitely stay here again. My family from the city especially loved seeing the views and all the wildlife in the area.

Santa Fe Getaway

The location of this home was quiet with gorgeous desert mountain views. The home was beautiful, and well maintained inside and out. The owners were very easy to communicate with. The drive to Santa Fe was quick, and very easy to navigate. We will definitely stay here again.

Comfy, cozy, cool

We loved spending a few days in an adobe house in the high desert. It was a new landscape for us and very interesting and beautiful. This house was comfortable, clean and easy to enjoy. It had everything we needed and more. Interesting books, good movies, a well-stocked kitchen, etc. The owners were wonderful and helpful—and easy to reach for questions. Highly recommend.
