We had a great time. The location was very convenient for two national parks. We visited both in a short vacation and were able to relax in comfort afterwards each night. They had fun games and plenty to do to keep you and your kids entertained. We will absolutely stay again if we come back through. Also the fresh eggs and blueberry muffins were delicious

This home was near Carlsbad Caverns and not too far from Guadalupe Mountains. While it is not as secluded as you might think, it was a nice home in the area with plenty of space to spread out. There is also a very nice courtyard area with a good grill.

We used this house to visit Carlsbad Caverns & hike Guadalupe. This was the best stocked house to welcome guests at which we have ever stayed. From bottled water, soap, toilet paper (nice TP at that) and even a sun hat for guest use made things so pleasant & easy to stay. The hosts really thought of everything. While the distance to the parks may seem far, the drive was nothing with the bypass around downtown Carlsbad. Great hosts, perfect house.

Great place just north of Carlsbad, so you're a little out of the way, but only minutes from some good food and drink options. We tried El Jimador and Yellow Brix for lunches and Lucky Bull for dinner. All solid options. Massage chair was a bonus (along with fresh blueberry muffins). Carlsbad Caverns was about 40 minutes away and Guadalupe Mountains National park was about an hour. Definitely recommend.

We had the absolute best stay at Cory’s place. Perfect location for us. We came to hike the highest point in Texas, Guadalupe Peak. It was only an hour drive to the trailhead so we were able to get an early morning start and back to the house by mid afternoon to rest. We loved being just outside of town where we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. It was amazing to have so many different appliances to use which we have not had at any other places we have stayed. We LOVED exploring Carlsbad and Roswell. We all agreed we would love to come back and will recommend Cory’s place for anyone wanting the perfect restful getaway near many outdoor adventures to enjoy.

Great Stay

This is a nice property outside of the bustle of Carlsbad. It’s a good midpoint for area National Parks and Roswell itineraries. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and accommodate your needs. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This place was like a home away from home. The owners have a very slick check-in process and everything was as promised. My only comment is that we were there to hike in Guadalupe Mountains NP and it was about a one hour drive to the trailheads (40 min to Carlsbad Caverns NP).

We loved the rental. It was everything we needed and expected. The place was clean and had lots of amenities. The blueberry muffins and fresh eggs for breakfast were delicious. We even had a bonfire 1 night that was very enjoyable! It was a perfect place to stay for spending your days at Carlsbad caverns.

This was a great place to rest and relax after a day of exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountain National Park. The kitchen has everything you need! We were treated to fresh blueberry muffins and fresh eggs in the day of our arrival. The owners were so kind and let us know that the property was ready if we wanted to check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Desert Oasis

Our family absolutely loved this place. From the fresh blueberry muffins to fresh farm eggs we felt welcomed and at home. The house was beautiful and cozy for all 6 of us. Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Enchanted Desert Oasis. Cory and Bruce had fresh muffins and eggs waiting for us. They house was clean and cozy and very well-appointed with all the kitchen things we could need for our stay. This was a great location for us to visit Carlsbad Caverns, The Guadalupe Mountains, and Roswell. Our kids loved the house and Cory even left a swing up for them to enjoy.

Perfect Base for Exploring Carlsbad

This house was perfect for me and my family. The house was beautiful and clean. There were even fresh muffins and eggs in the fridge when we arrived. It's very conveniently located close to Carlsbad, but far enough away that you have some privacy. It was the perfect base for us to explore the National Parks in this area.

Lovely home! Bruce and Cory do a wonderful job of providing a great place to stay. The blueberry muffins were delicious and a nice welcoming treat. The place is well maintained, clean and with great amenities. The king bed was very comfortable. We drove to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks from here. Highly recommend!

Spacious, clean, comfortable. Big, beautiful covered front porch with rocking chairs perfect for the sunrise and hummingbird watching. They thought of everything, if we needed it for cooking or laundry or gamenight we had it!. They were so thoughtful to bake fresh blueberry muffins. Wonderful place to stay

Our family stayed at this property on our vacation to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park. Both parks were about an hour from this location. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We cooked a lot there each evening and the kitchen was well supplied with pans and utensils. Cory responded immediately to an internet issue we were having and quickly remedied the problem. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Bruce and I wanted to provide a great space for family and friends visiting Carlsbad and surrounding areas. Bruce is retired and ready to assist with any issues or concerns that may come up. We would like our guests to enjoy the stress free environment. We are on the edge of the BLM near Carlsbad and the space has lots of open area.

Why they chose this property

Family have lived on the property since the early 1980's and we live near by. We purchased the property to give travelers the wonderful experience we had all this time. The property has a walking path on the 3 acers in front. We would like each of our guest to feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed.

What makes this property unique

You will have access to a gym and an outside (out of yard) fire pit available when weather conditions are calm. We lots of outdoor space, setting areas and play areas.
