Dylan’s Lighthouse is a totally remodeled two bedroom cottage with vaulted ceiling and a sleeping loft. Beautiful hickory hardwood floors, granite counter tops and tiled bathroom. Enjoy a cup of coffee on your covered front porch swing. It is a quick walk across the street to catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise along the paved walking path that runs along beautiful Lake Erie. Walking distance to everything GOTL has to offer. Pick up the wine tour across the street to enjoy some of our amazing wineries. Return home from all your adventures of the day to relax by the fire pit with a glass of wine while making s’mores. Dylan’s Lighthouse can be combined with Ethan’s Lakehouse, Kenzie’s Sandcastle and Tucker’s Beach Glass Cottage for larger groups. All the cottages are on the same property.

Johnny, sorry to see that you reviewed your stay as a 3. I spoke with you multiple times and via text messages and spoke with your wife when she was using our laundry room. You both said everything was “great” and that you all were having a great time. You did not leave the property until 3pm. We take the cleanliness of our cottages extremely seriously. We have excellent help and also do our own cleaning. To anyone reading Johnny’s review please refer to previous reviews on this site and Airbnb of all our cottages.

Perfect weekend getaway!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway! We loved how bright it was and the skylights and loft were adorable. Everything was very clean and the property owner was quick in answering any questions I had through the trip. The location was just a few minutes walk from everything. We will definitely be back in the future!

Great location and communication with host. Very cute and well used space for small cottage. We could not get wall mounted AC unit to work. Shower had long curly hair from the previous renter all over the wall. Full size bed in main bedroom was terribly uncomfortable and moved whenever you would roll over.

Alison so sorry you felt as though your stay was a 4! The mini split was on at 72. (We always have the mini split on to prepare the cottage for our valued guests.) There is also instructions on how to work the remote on the refrigerator. As far as the hair in the shower, we take a lot of pride in the cleanliness of our cottages. We have 2 people cleaning (1 inside, 1 outside) when finished we/they switch jobs to check each other. So sorry if 2 people missed the hair. I spoke with you and would have drove to the cottages to remedy the situation if it was brought to our attention. As far the mattress, we have not had a complaint about it being uncomfortable prior to your stay. We did stay at the cottage after your review to see how the mattress was and we found it to be comfortable.

Perfect little cottage

The location of the cottage is perfect. Very close to the Geneva Lodge, next door to Max’s Carryout convenient store and a short walk to the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip. The fire pit was perfect and has lots of chairs. The place was clean and accommodated our group of 6 adults. Full sized refrigerator was also perfect. Plus, the neighbors are friendly. I would stay again. Thank you!

Nice cottage, not location, picky owners.

The cottage was really cute, very compact and at the very end of town. Long walk for small children. They supplied small dish soap, hand soap, etc. but if you used it, you are charged! Never had that happen before! Said we took the dustpan, never saw one, not too sure about that! Will not rent there again.

We do not charge for soap or any of the other items that we provide for our valued guests. We do however charge if items are missing from our cottage. We personally clean, disinfect and inspect our cottages. We know what items are provided for our guests. These items were missing after these guests left: hand broom and dust pan, all the soap provided along with dispensers, coasters, step stool. The cottage was left in terrible condition. Just filthy. Towels were full of feces, extra toilet paper was urinated on. Took two of us 4.5 hours to clean and disinfect. (9 hours total). Please stay away from renting to this family.

Great Trip!

The cottage was great! Close to the strip. We walked everywhere. The shower water wasn’t very hot but other thank that, the space was perfect for my husband and I! Thank you for a beautiful spot to getaway for a couple of days!

Simply the best

If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars across the board, I would. The property is beautiful and really gives you that “lake life” vibe. It was so cozy and super clean. We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and could walk to our zip lining activity (Lake Erie Canopy Tours) and also walk to the strip for food/drinks/shops. There is a convenient store also right at the end of the road so we could walk to get snacks/ice etc. perfect location and the owners are super nice and so responsive. Would recommend them to everyone and would 1000% stay here again!

Amazing

Owners were so kind and attentive. Location was perfect for us, far enough away from the noise of the strip while being close to everything. Would absolutely stay again! It was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed!
