Stylish great place to stay

We have stayed at 47Amy several times over the past few years and from being a very well appointed lovely hideaway from the start, it has developed into an excellently appointed and compact space that is a real joy to stay in.

Nice, quiet retreat close to the city

We really enjoyed our stay here! It had great amenities and felt quite homely. We loved how close it was to the train station which made it easy to travel to many places during our stay. The hosts were very accommodating allowing us to drop our bags off early and even check in earlier than expected. We had a lovely time in Sydney and would definitely book here again.

Little gem on the city fringe

Lovely well appointed property. Easy to find and access and vibrant community vibe. Great pubs, shops and cafes in area. Walk in to CBD easily. Great for a city break. Thankyou

Stylish and luxurious retreat

Forty7amy seamlessly combines cutting edge architecture and technology with the clean lines and abstract imagery of Danish modern furniture and Indigenous artwork respectively. It is private, well located, reasonably priced and very comfortable accommodation. An exceptional stay, highly recommended. We'll be back!

A beautiful apartment

A leafy, beautifully designed apartment. Very clean & well appointed. Fabulous for those who prefer to use public transport, with two train corridors within quick walk, as is the wonderfully lively King Street, Newtown.

Tree top apartment

The property was extremely clean, very attractive art works on the wall, was well fitted out with appliances for both entertainment and cooking. The outlook was gorgeous, flowering jacarandas, bamboos etc and there was an outdoor area you could sit and read or have a cuppa. For a long stay the fridge could be a bit bigger. Communication with owners was very good. Lovely stay

Impressive Apartment

This is such a stylish apartment. Mark and Lisa have thought of everything. It is exactly the same as shown in the pictures and well stocked. Mark was extremely flexible as I needed to move dates a number of times due to Sydney Lockdowns. Overall, a wonderful apartment. We shall stay here again on our next visit to Sydney.

Still the One

We have stayed at this property several times in recent years and it clearly remains our first choice for accommodation when visiting Sydney. On this occasion we were further impressed by the prompt response of our hosts in identifying and resolving a drainage problem experienced with the shower.

Modern, clean, and cute.

It’s a small and pretty place to stay in a beautiful neighbourhood. This place has modern equipment however if you do have back issues, be mindful that it is a memory foam mattress and unfortunately caused me immense pain and stiffness after a few nights. As that’s a personal and unfortunate happenstance, there is nothing to complain about.I would recommend this place as an affordable and beautiful destination. Thank you for having us 🙂.

Fabulous Erskineville Stay

Mark and Lisa's property in Erskineville is an absolute gem. I spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything has been thought of for guests, the bed is very comfortable, fantastic facilities and outside space. It's provided a peaceful haven after days filled with activities. It's located in a beautiful inner west neighbourhood of Sydney full of historial workers' cottages and terraced townhouses, handy to 3 train stations (St Peter's, the closest, Erskineville and Newtown) as well as buses with many bars, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. This is one of the best properties I've ever stayed in. Thanks so much Lisa and Mark, I will definitely be back and I'll be recommending to all family and friends!

We enjoyed our stay at Forty7Amy. The unit was very well appointed and attractive and was so much more comfortable than the soulless hotel rooms where we normally stay. The decor was obviously well thought out, the bed comfortable, and the well-tuned Panasonic TV a bonus for the 1 very wet day when we mostly stayed in. The location is excellent, with the train station just a short walk away and the cafes and restaurants of King Street just around the corner. The owners are really nice and very discrete. One small thing - a full length mirror on the back of the bedroom door would be appreciated and perhaps a small hairdryer for the bathroom for those of us with hair that need that extra bit of help.

Hello. We have completely revamped the bedroom and bathroom and have a mirror on the back of the bed room door and have replaces the hair dryer (three times now - seems an item people pack and take). We hope you come back and stay again soon.

After some confusion trying to enter the property (due to emails going to my junk inbox) I found the flat beautifully presented and extremely clean and tidy. I would recommend anyone to stay here. The only downside is that there is no wardrobe space or chest of drawers so everything stayed in my case. This was not a problem for me but I think if you really wanted to hang your clothes you would be disappointed.Lisa and Mark were very kind considering it was not their fault that I didn't get the instructions and I was sorry to disturb their time away.

Cosy beautifully presented unit looking over the treetops

A cosy well appointed second floor unit with all of the comforts of home perched at the canopy level of a tropical oasis in the heart of Erskineville. A comfortable bed and lovely mid-century furnishings with a great art collection make this a funky hideaway close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay! The place itself was comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and more. The linens and towels were very nice quality and the place was filled with wonderful touches that made our stay better than expected. The artwork and personal touches added to its wonderful appeal. We will definitely stay again and look forward to it!

Peaceful city escape with a perfect location

We will definitely stay here again. Everything was clean, tidy and compact. The property is private, green and peaceful- yet so close to the dynamic and diverse King Street. World class eateries and bars are a stroll away.

Little jewel near Newtown

Have stayed a number if times as it is very handily located to shops & is well appointed. Miss having a couch but the armchairs are fine for a short stay.
