RAINBOW PARADISE es una hermosa casa moderna ubicada en las hermosas colinas de North View Estates que ofrece vistas espectaculares de las laderas circundantes, el océano y Manglar y Pela Bay. La piscina privada con vista al océano es un excelente lugar para refrescarse después de un día en la playa o tomar el sol en su patio aislado.
Esta casa de lujo de cuatro dormitorios consta de tres edificios separados conectados por arcos increíbles y extensos patios con paisajes tropicales. Beautiful location! Easy Communication! Manager and Caretaker were wonderful, giving us great island insights.The pool is refreshing after a long day at the beach, the rental had plenty of shade and sun!! Look forward to returning to this Amazing spot

Rural hillside stay

Six old friends spent a week in this accommodating house, which has what you’ll need to prepare simple foods and sleep well. The pool refreshed and the viewand varied landscaping brought peace. When there was a problem with a faucet handle, Jose was there in minutes. Also the orchids were blooming!

Beautiful house, private, pool, quiet

Beautiful bones, three great separate buildings very private (one w two bedrooms). Pool in morning and dinners by pool were wonderful. Has solar and a battery which helped during power outage and internet stayed on, very impressive. House is a little on older side and kitchen/ screens need some updating, but everything worked and spaces wonderful. Jose and Michael who managed house were extremely helpful and responsive.

A Top Choice in Culebra

Our 6-night stay at Eco-House was memorable and Michael was a gracious host who accommodated our special requests. The top virtues of this unique place are as follows: 1. Location: secluded and high overlooking Las Pelas bay yields a beautiful view, a nice breeze and a quiet and private environment. 2. Pool: essential to cool off and big enough for our group. It was a highlight. 3. Poolside deck: the main gathering place for long dinners alfresco or just hanging out. We spent hours every night at the deck. 4. Home design: lots of open space with separate rooms result in an airy resort feel with privacy for occupants. 5. A/Cs: the bedroom units are fitted with effective units and help a good night sleep. Be advised these are for nighttime use only per house rules. 6. Water: the pressure is good (cannot take that for granted in Culebra) and supply plenty thanks to a big cistern. 7. Power: Solar/battery based which avoids disruption from a power outage. Air conditioning in the main family room/kitchen would have been nice to have for hot nights when the breeze dies down and dining/gathering inside would be more comfortable. However, there are floor fans to help with that. Furnishings and appliances are practical, especially the dishwasher, but there was no washer on site, which can be helpful for a long stay. No real need for a dryer as air drying was easy. In summary, Eco-house is a fabulous place for a group stay and home base to explore and enjoy Culebra. Thumbs up!

Gem in Culebra

This beautiful property quickly became home for our small extended family. Its common areas - pool deck, kitchen/living room, breezeway - all connect seamlessly. We felt very much 'together' without being cramped. The bedrooms were comfortable as well. We liked the ability to close them off and use AC or leave them open to the breeze. The property is beautifully landscaped. It is covered by carefully watered vegetation that contributes to the feeling of being away from it all, as you certainly are on the quiet side of Culebra. The view over Las Pelas is pretty great too. Communication with the host, Michael, was excellent. Once we navigated a few common quirks with appliances & amenities, our time here was very smooth. Highly recommend!

Relaxing week in paradise

We truly loved our stay! The property is breathtaking with orchids and flowers everywhere, an incredible view, and plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and two kids under two. Our daughter loved the pool, chasing lizards, and room between the buildings. For multiple families, there’s ample space to spend time together or break off and do your own thing. We truly loved our stay! I would recommend it for anyone looking to take a step away from the regular grind and slooooow way down.

Mucho amore para ti Culebra!

This house is perfect, in every way. I could stop there but I’ll go on :) We spent a glorious week in Culebra - the island is magic and this house, from the very beginning, a warm and welcoming ambassador. The first thing you experience are lush, tropical, well maintained grounds dotted with beautiful flora and fauna. The configuration of the house/bedrooms were perfect for our two families (6 in total). In our case sleeping ‘suites’ (both ensuite) for the adults on the upper level, and a lovely ‘kids wing’ on the lower, with two good sized bedrooms/shared bathroom. The upper level of the house is connected by a breezeway of arches, a simple detail that creates elegant architectural drama, tying the ample outdoor areas together. The indoor living area/kitchen are sized right and simply outfitted, with everything needed for lounging/meal prep in a communal setting. The lovely patio/pool configuration is comfortable for swimming and/or sunbathing, which for us was perfect for relaxing while keeping an eye on the kids. And the view! This truly deserves its own review! Day or night this sweeping vista took my breath away, like peering through an exotic looking glass. Host Micheal was an absolute pleasure to deal with -accommodating and quick to respond, before and during our stay. House manager Jose, met us at the ferry, took us to the house and made sure we were well looked after. In conclusion, drop everything, get yourself there now, you’ll wonder what took you so long!

Amazing Property in Culebra

This vacation paradise met all of our expectations! It has a wonderful layout for family or a group of friends. The views are outstanding and the pool area is wonderful. The rooms are large and we had plenty of space to spread out. The surrounding acreage has lots of gorgeous plants, many are flowering to add to their beauty. Michael was very responsive when we gave him some feedback about stocking the kitchen with a few more cooking essentials. Don't hesitate to book this property and to visit Culebra in general. It is a very special island and we definitely recommend a day trip to Culebrita for snorkeling and spending time on one of the most spectacular beaches we have ever visited!

Great house for great friends

My husband and I stayed on the property with another couple, and it was perfect. There are enough separate spaces for everyone to have privacy, but still come together in the common spaces. The kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for cooking as a group, and there’s a good blender for mixed drinks :) It was easy to get everywhere we needed to go on the island, nothing was more than a 20 minute drive away. The pool, view, and landscaping made it a luxurious place to stay.

An incredible experience

If you get the chance to visit Culebra and stay at Rainbow Paradise, it will truly be an incredible experience. The views overlooking the pool were like something out of a movie and never got old during our stay. The landscaping was also beautiful, beginning at the bottom of the long/winding driveway and carried to the top of the house and surrounding yard. It was full of flowers, shrubs, and cacti, all placed perfectly to enhance the scenic atmosphere without encroaching on the patio/pool and views. The bedrooms and common areas were spacious, offered plenty of seating for our group of 8 adults, and were well stocked with towels and cookware. The weeks prior to our arrival, and even a few times during our stay, we had general questions that Michael responded to almost immediately, providing advice/solutions and overall being very pleasant to talk to. While it took a couples days to adjust to “island life” (i.e. throwing toilet paper in the trash can instead of the toilet, grocery stores and restaurants closing by 7pm-9pm, some stores not open on Sundays at all, and the one lane roads in town), once we got back home we found ourselves missing the simplicity and laid back culture. We rented two jeeps from Jerry’s, which I would definitely recommend if you are planning to visit all the beaches (there were several steep hills that I’m not sure a golf cart would make it up). Michael advised we should confirm Jerry’s would be open if we arrived past 5pm because previous guests had an issue so I was a little worried that we might miss the pickup time since we were taking the 3:30pm ferry, but the staff assured me they would wait for us. Our ferry ended up arriving late, a few minutes after 5pm, but Jerry’s shuttle was waiting for us as promised and we had no issues getting the rentals. Lastly, Michael left an amazing binder full of activities and restaurants to try during our stay. Every recommendation we tried was a 10/10 - the food at Zacos Tacos, Dingy Dock, La Cocina, Mamacitas, the beaches at Flamenco, Tamarindo, Zoni, Melones, the shopping in town… our only regret was not being able to do them all. Guess that means we will have to be back :)

Beautiful, peaceful home, perfect pool, stunning views, amazing vacation!

We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at Rainbow Paradise. Even with our two active boys (5 & 6 years-old), we were able to have many peaceful and relaxing moments at the house. The pool is really great, perfect size and depth (approx. 12’ x 30’ and 6’6” deep). We used it morning, noon and night when we weren’t at one of the beaches. We also loved playing cards/games, and cooking meals in the open living room/kitchen, the ventilation with the windows and doors open plus the fans kept it very comfortable! A minor issue that arose during our stay was quickly and thoroughly addressed and followed-up on by Michael and Jose which made us feel even more comfortable at the house. Any questions we had were quickly answered; communication was great. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we were a group of 4, so we only used the main floor bedrooms. We would take a swim at night before bed, turn on the ceiling fan and leave the sliding doors open and the temp was perfect, we didn’t need the A/C most nights. All-in-all, it was an amazing place to stay with everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our time on Culebra. We wish we could have stayed another week and hope to be back soon!

Private, the best views, awesome pool

The property is exactly as described - actually it is more impressive in person! We loved the location on the quiet side of the island near Zoni beach and the very private driveway with a gate. Beautifully landscaped. Pool is perfect. Nice wide steps on shallow end, and deep end is actually swimmable (meaning it’s not just a little dip pool). We rented different houses on Culebra for about 8 years now, and this house by far had the best setup for outdoor entertaining - LOTS of patio space, a grill, table and chairs, pool furniture. (Again the VIEWS and POOL!). All of the 4 bedrooms are physically separated with private bathrooms which is so great to balance privacy with family under one roof. It was clean, nice towels, bed linens, kitchen supplies, beach cooler, pool towels, and chairs (and nice, functional ones! Hard to come by in Culebra rentals! LOL! The owner Michael was extremely responsive, friendly, and seems to have great pride in the house (decorating, maintenance, etc.). I would say the house was PERFECT if not one for one teeny, tiny thing - there is no washer/dryer at the house. That was tough for a 2-week stay and trying to pack as light as possible. Even just a washer alone would help. But 5 stars deserves anyway! Still the best house we’ve stayed at- so gorgeous! Thank you Michael! ❤️🙏🌺🌴☀️

Rescued our vacation

The beach days and other activities were wonderful. We have been to Culebra a number of times over the years. It has been our "go-to" vacation destination. I am therefore familiar with the importance of having a rented vehicle on the island. I made a reservation with Jerry's Jeeps for an 8- passenger van, weeks in advance. When we arrived at 5 PM on New Year's Eve, Jerry's was closed, with no sign of activity inside. Phone calls went unanswered and there was not even a recording. I sent Michael, the owner a message through Vrbo and he responded immediately. Jose, who is the caretaker at the house, showed up within minutes in a pickup. truck with a taxi following, which was necessary to transport our party of 8, on New Year's Eve! We were made to feel very much at home without any issues or problems. Thanjk you Jose, thank you Michael (and Damaris the taxi driver)! Next time we use our tried and true Carlos Jeeps. The manager came in on New Year's Day, when the business was closed tporent us a minivan. Incredible hospitality.

Astounding, breathtaking paradise.

The high hills of Culebra are a hummingbird’s paradise, rich in wildflowers nectar. As soon as you arrive expect to be impressed, this house is amazing Michael the property owner was an amazing host. The View!!! The View! Perfect spot to enjoy you vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and comfortable, we woke up every morning to the most breathtaking sunsets ever. The property landscape is superb attentions to details are above and beyond many property’s we have stayed in Culebra. TV and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We loved this vacation. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful house with us.

Amazing stay at an amazing house!

Had such a great time at this beautiful property! We were two families with kids between the ages of 8 and 1 and we were all very comfortable. The house has everything we needed, Michael and José were awesome and you can’t beat the views!!!
