Huge, totally private, 6 Bedroom homestead on 68 acres with expansive water and stunning country views. Adjoining a National Park, this house offers views from every angle.

The house is situated in a calming peaceful location close to neighbours who enjoy the quiet, for this reason we do not allow parties and ensure that guests be respectful of the neighbours.

5 of the 6 bedrooms boast Kind Size Beds that can be split into 2 singles, while the kids room has 2 sets of bunks and can sleep 4.

Bring your friends and family and enjoy a magical time away from it all and yet only less than minutes to the beaches and shops of Bluey’s.

The spacious home takes full advantage of the gorgeous views of Wallis Lake and beyond to the coastline.

The huge blackbutt and Tasmanian oak kitchen has plenty of room to cook up a feast to serve on the massive 16 seater reclaimed timber dining table. Or go al fresco and enjoy the view with a BBQ and outdoor setting.

Beautiful water breezes compliment the house in summer and a combustion heater warms the whole house in winter.

Keep all of the family entertained with an in ground swimming pool. Conveniently located for easy viewing if young kids are swimming.

Walk around the property or on kilometers of trails in the neighboring national park. Pick fruit from the plentiful orchard including 10 Mango trees. Swim in the many nearby beaches, take a kayak out on Wallis Lake or simply sit and enjoy the views and the serenity. There is so much to do here, you wont want to leave.

Amazing venue to stay at. Beds a little firm but our family enjoyed our stay. Kitchen is amazingly equiped. Take firewood if wanting to use the firepit. Overall - totally enjoyed our stay

As one of only a few properties which was able to accommodate our large family group it was fantastic. Spacious, relaxed and comfortable. Our family was able to settle in quickly and really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Great family living area space with beautiful views.The surrounding grounds and the outdoor entertainment spaces were lovely and the pool was great though a little chilly for our Autumn stay. It was a safe environment for our 4 toddlers. Communication was great and thank you so much for helping jump start our car. Now have a new battery.This stay is highly recommended for large groups who need space to spread out and have fun.

The house location was perfect, the kitchen well equipped, just the beds were uncomfortable and the cleanliness in general wasn’t great. Loved the fact you had a bath and beach towel and plenty of game boards for the whole family.

Great extended family getaway

House was perfect for our large family get away with a pool to keep Kids entertained. The kitchen was very well equipped. Beautiful view. Henry was a great host.

The Hideaway was a great house for our group. It was private, spacious and had all we needed for a few days away with family and friends. Kitchen was very well appointed with all you need to make big family meals to share at the amazing dining table. Loved the 2 lounge zones which made it easy to give all some space to relax but still be all together. Thanks for having us. We look forward to coming to stay again.

Extended family holiday

A great central meeting point for our families from central NSW and Queensland. Plenty of space inside and covered outside areas were greatly appreciated when it rained. Met the needs of adults, children and pets.

Wonderful family holiday

We had 3 generations of family staying at the property and had a really wonderful holiday. The view was so relaxing and able to relax away from the city. The firepit was a winner with the kids roasting marshmallows. Would definitely come back in the future

Great older house on fantastic quiet spot

Was a beautiful older house and a perfect spot for a peaceful rest. It's obviously a well loved house, but who wouldn't with the view from the main living area. The info pack is very helpful.

Excellent for our extended family gathering

The host was welcoming and easy to deal with. During a loss of power to the area on our first night, he was good enough to provide a generator so we were able to manage well. Great location with a magnificent view to just relax and swim in the pool and also close to some interesting places to visit.

Great house with a great view

We loved our stay in Whoota. The house is HUGE and the view is beautiful from the back overlooking the lake. The house could use a little updating for the price (including the area around the pool), but it accommodates big groups really well with its huge kitchen. Henry was an excellent host and always quick to respond.

We had a lovely time. House had a great layout and fit everyone very well.Kitchen was well appointed Wonderful outlook over Wallis lake. Only downer was it was in need of a paint or update( a bit tired) Pool was great addition but pool surround needed some love. All up fabulous house in a stunning area

Fabulous stay - amazing view

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Hideaway. We specifically chose the property because we have an elderly family member with mobility issues. The house is completely flat with no stairs. And the addition of a pool was brilliant. Kitchen was well stocked and the Dining Room table allowed all 12 of us to eat together. The view from the house is beautiful and we could sit outside and just watch the lake.

Secluded and high up

The house is big and spacious - love the open plan of the kitchen/dining/lounge. Kitchen ginormous, dining table ginormous and outdoor grass area is amazing! Dogs had a ball running around the house, literally. Only improvement would be to add another toilet separate to the showers/bath because with 16 guests it was a challenge every morning and evening.

Thanks Henry for a great weekend in your holiday home. Everything went well (apart from a flat tyre but that wasn’t your fault!) and we had everything we needed. Very relaxing stay

Henry, the owner of the property was a legend! He was really helpful and assisted us during the weekend when we had questions about gas for the bbq, wifi etc. The Stayz login experience was poor and basic details including how to access the property (and leave it) were not included.

Hideaway at Whoota

Great property for our three families to meet for a celebration. Spacious rooms and good amenities. Never got to use the pool as weather not greatest while we were there. And good if you have dogs as a dog friendly place. Great, quick response communication from owners.
