Lujosa villa independiente de 5 camas con alojamiento en 3 plantas con 2 camas king, 3 habitaciones dobles más un sofá cama doble en la sala de juegos y una cama plegable individual en el primer piso que se puede colocar donde el huésped lo prefiera. 3 baños y WIFI. La sala de estar / comedor ofrece vistas desde su fabulosa terraza del maravilloso campo portugués y su piscina privada climatizada de 8x4m. El jardín cuenta con barbacoa tradicional y zona de comedor exterior cubierta para 12. La sala de juegos está equipada con tenis de mesa / Playstation / DVD y nevera y sofá cama doble de excelente calidad. Cama individual adicional disponible para su uso. Cocina moderna totalmente equipada con todas las comodidades. La casa está situada en un tranquilo callejón sin salida rural a minutos de la infame playa Riberia Dilhais y el pueblo de Ribamar. Ericeira está a 7 minutos en coche de la casa. La casa está a unos 40 minutos de Lisboa y su aeropuerto y con fácil acceso a las impresionantes atracciones de Sintra, Cascais, Estoril y muchos campos de golf. La costa de Lisboa es una región de surf de renombre mundial con kilómetros de hermosas playas, varias de las cuales están muy cerca. So close to beaches!

Our family of 12 enjoyed so much our time together! The house was spacious and the pool was a big bonus. The outdoor space was also perfect! We definitely recommend staying here

Perfect vacation home

The villa had everything we needed - we were a group of 10, with ages ranging from a 16 month old, to teenagers through to 69 and the house was perfect to meet all needs. The teenagers had the lower ground floor with a twin room and games room, the toddler was safe as parts of the communal areas could be closed off. At no point did we feel cramped. Pool was great and we ate outside in the BBQ area every night. Beach is only a 10 minute walk away and really easy to drive in to the town and nearby supermarkets. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent, well-appointed villa was perfect for us

We were a group of 11 friends attending a wedding in the area and this villa was perfect for us. The pool and bbq area was a great place to relax and enjoy views of rolling hills in the sun. The bedrooms are a good size, a lot of space throughout the house and there wasn't anything missing we needed during our stay. Great value - would recommend!

Spacious villa with lovely pool

A perfect villa for friends and families in large group. Plenty of space . Super clean . Outdoor dining and bbq . Louise & local host Fernando were so helpful. We could walk to the surf beach and local restaurants. Ericeira a short drive . Hoe up return !

Lovely villa and pool, good location

The villa is spacious enough for a group of different ages to not get on top of each other. The pool was lovely and warm. Location is good: short driving distance to surf beaches and within walking distance you have Ribamar village (shops/restaurants) and also cliff top walks and secluded coves.

Great place

We had a great time. The place was perfect. Louise answered all my questions and Fernando was a great contact on the ground. Even saw him in the line up when we were out surfing!

Excellent for family holidays.

The villa was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed an excellent stay. There was plenty of room for our whole family (ages 1 - 60). The swimming pool was enjoyed by everyone, every day. The games room was a particular hit with the children as it was equipped with plenty of toys to play with. The outside cooking area was great and the adults enjoyed sitting out after putting the children to bed. The owner of the property was particularly helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful villa in quite a secluded location

I would like to start by saying that the only reason I gave this villa 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel the location is slightly misrepresented on the Homeaway website. The villa is not actually in Ericeira but just outside in Palhais, Santa Isadora. Apart from this the villa was amazing. Louise was great from the start making the whole booking process very easy and was always quick to repy to messages. We were greeted on arrival by Fernando who was welcoming and helpful. The villa was spacious, clean and very homely with everything you need for your stay and loved the welcoming bottle of wine from Louise which was just what we needed after a long day of traveling. We had people staying in every room and none of us had trouble sleeping as the beds were comfortable and the rooms nice and cool. Despite being out of the way there were 2 supermarkets within walking distance and also a few cafes/restaurants and even with our limited ability to speak Portuguese the locals were friendly and accommodating. Still only a 5-10 minute taxi drive in to Ericeira so wasn't too bad although would definitely recommend a hire car if you plan to spend a bit of time exploring the local area. If we are ever vacationing in the area again I will definitely look at hiring Louises villa.

Great home for a group or family!

The house is situated on a quiet street five mins from the main city center and has a lovely swimming pool and back patio where my family and I spent most of our time. The owner was very responsive and helpful leading up, during and after the trip. We experienced some hot water issues that the house manager attempted to fix a few times. The house had three full baths, though only one person could shower at a time and the hot water didn't stay consistently warm. We mentioned this to the house owner and she said they are looking into replacing the tank entirely which should help fix the problem. Since Portugal was experiencing was experiencing record high temperatures this summer, we didn't need the hot water that much anyway! The villa suited our needs otherwise and we had a very enjoyable holiday with our family.

Perfect setting and beautiful views

Arriving at Lamarmac we were all blown away! The house is incredible. It was extremely clean, Louise even left us a bottle of wine and a card to welcome us. Fernando met us outside the house to let us in and give us the grand tour. Fernando is always close by the help with any questions, he was amazing! The house itself has everything you need to be self sufficient. The pool was immaculately clean and there was plenty of outdoors furniture of everyone to have a seat. We had loads of bbqs to utilise this area to the maximum! The living room and dining rooms has a huge tv and comfy sofas. There’s even a table tennis table downstairs! The beds were very comfy and all the rooms extremely spacious. I was lucky enough to get the master bedroom which had an en suite bathroom. Including the en suite there are 4 bathrooms! The whole of my party of people were so impressed with the villa. It truely is 5* luxury. Thank you to Louise for letting us stay! We will be back!

Amazing Villa

We had a really nice stay in this house. It was close to a beach with surf shops and a short drive/taxi to Ericeira. Louise was very helpful before the trip and the caretaker, Fernando, was very supportive when we arrived.

A great holiday at a great place

The house is fully equipped, Fernando is very helpful. The house is located nearby Ribeira D'Ilhas where we had some surf lessons (Blue Ocean). Nice markets in the neighbourhood. Ericeira is also a very nice place with a lot of restaurants, some nice shops etc. Also warm compliments towards Louise as she remembered that my parents had their 45th wedding anniversary, so upon arrival there was cake and a bottle of wine! I would definitely recommend this house!

Fabulous villa

Brilliant villa. Lovely, clean and well stocked. We were a party of 8 and found it super-spacious. Due to rural location we were pleased we had hired a van. Both Fernando (the legend) during our stay and Louise before it, could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Superb villa!

We absolutely loved the villa. Extremely well appointed and comfortable. We were a party of adults and older teens and location ideal for lazy days around the pool. Outdoor BBQ area is fab but a bit breezy so cardigan needed at night.Louise was an excellent host providing lots of useful info on local surf schools. Ericeira itself is charming and some lovely beaches nearby. Can't recommend highly enough and Will definitely return.

Brilliant stay!

Louise is a lovely lady and the villa matches its owner! It is a great villa for a large group of friends as well as family. Last year I stayed here with my family and I came back a year later with 10 friends! There are a few different eating areas, including a morrocan bbq area, perfect for fun nights in. There are also numerous bars and restaurants around the villa along with an amazing beach that has surfing and yoga lessons readily available for you! I would definitely recommend this villa!

Beautiful 5* Accomidation

What can i say except that everything about this property was wonderful. We were a family of 10 and the ages ranged between 9 months and 62. This house really is a well loved family home,everything you wanted was provided and more. The pool was the icing on the cake it was fantastic the children loved it and so did the adults! The outdoor living space was great and very well used. Thanks Louise it was just what we wanted. Gill and Chris Lancishire

Fantastic house and owner

Hello. Thanks to Louise, we spent, my family and I (7 adults) 10 very nice days in this big, well furnished house. We were there in April-Mai and althought we had nice weather, the warming of the swimming pool was highly appreciated. So was the help we received from Louise to solve several little problems for transport, shopping, ... I recommend. Brigitte

All the comforts of home and much more

From the moment we walked into Villa Lamarmac we felt at home, the property was spotless and well maintained and even thought the weather wasn't great we made good use of the pool as it was heated. We were a large group, eleven in total yet we didn't feel on top of each other as the villa is very spacious. We did not hire a car, it was easy enough to get a taxi and they were quite cheap. A lovely man called Fernando who looks after the villa couldn't do enough for us he organised transport from and to the airport, he brought us shopping to the local supermarket and he was a great help on the day of my brothers wedding collecting us in the early hours of the morning. We all had a great week in this beautiful Villa the local people were very welcoming and Ericeira is an astounding little village and the views were breathtaking. Thank you so much Louise for the use of your stunning Villa hope to be back in the near future. xx

Great sporting family holiday

Great communication before arriving at the Villa. Really happy to see such a lovely, immaculate property on arrival. Met by Fernando who is the most helpful of people and a legend. Quickly found the surfing sites ( no need to pre-book lessons etc) made great use of the table tennis and BBQ area in the Villa. Cheap enough to buy charcoal in Lidl/Aldi but definitely recommend a large family shop for a week at the continentle supermarket on the way to the Villa in Mafra. Aldi and lidl quite restricted on choice - especially for a group of 10 people. Loved the old town. Rooms in the Villa were immaculate and we had everything we needed. Just need to take things like toilet roll, bin bags, condiments. Lots of cutlery, glasses, etc. available to use including cooking utensils. Pool was well used and enjoyed by all and in the evening a game of Scategories around the BBQ went down well. Back to Fernando - we asked if he could take a photo of us all as a family and he obliged, he even acted as a taxi service to take us all into the old town to celebrate exam results and a evening family meal. The older children stayed out late and could not get a taxi back, so they took Fernando up on his offer of calling him, whatever the time... he dutifully picked them all up at 0500 and bought them safely home... went above and beyond to make our holiday enjoyable. Would recommend to families of all ages as the Villa caters for all.

Great family villa

Lovely family friendly villa with everything you would need to keep kids entertained. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lovely warm (salt water) pool and spacious villa which is cool even the hottest weather. Close to beautiful beaches and picturesque towns and an easy base for day trips. Seafood in local restaurants is amazing and such good value!

Beautiful Villa

This gorgeous (huge!) villa is the perfect location from which to explore Ericeira and surrounds. Its very close to one of the nicest beaches in the area, but has its own heated pool, so you may not want to leave. On arrival, we were met by a local neighbour who looked after our every need. I would highly recommend this place for a lovely portuguese holiday, the area is beautiful, well priced and great restaurants. The locals are very friendly, but the villa tops them all! Hiring a car is essential as no where is within easy walking distance but driving is easy as the roads are great and everything well signposted. The villa itself was spotless and felt very new. We travelled in mid September and the weather was perfect, mid twenties and blue skies all the way. On return we were refunfef our deposit promptly with a lovely e-mail from the owner. I would rate this property 10 out of 10!

Perfect for our families

We spent three weeks in the villa, everything was perfect especially for our childrens, you can feel like at home as the villa is completely equipped with all that you may need, The position is also very good, very close to ribeira beach (very good for surfing) and to ericeira village.

Family of Nine

We had a great 2 weeks stay at Villa Lamarmac - the villa was even better looking in real life, than the photographs shown in the advert. The villa easily accommodated our 2 families of 9 people (4 adults, 5 children ages: 4, 8, 9, 10 and 10yrs) total and 2 hire cars. The villa was clean, spacious and modern - and extremely child friendly, playstation, table tennis and board games etc. The closest town was Erica - and the local beaches were amazingly never crowded at all. We have no reservations to anyone considering staying here. You must have a car - a MUST - or a means of transport. Roads were very good to get about - be aware all sign posts lead to LISBON no matter if you drive North, East, South or West, so bring an updated road map as all the main motorways are being modernised. The Children had the best holiday ever. We will be back.

Perfect for the family

for groups of adults or family. The heated pool was a god send the only down side was there was always tears when the kids had to come out of it. The tears were short lived because there was always the playstation to play and plenty of toy in the toy basket. All the Beaches are clean and Family friendly I recommend “Foz de Lizandro” and surfing is very popular in the area.Plenty of Restaurants to choose from, all of them serve good fresh sea food. The villa is a real home from home and you. The caretaker gives you a warm a friendly welcome, good advice about the local area, Thinks to remember: You do need a car to get around, you are in a rural area so don’t be surprised if you here the odd shot guns in the distant fields, you are not in the Algarve so you are surround buy Portuguese but the most do speak English and are very helpful I would recommend this villa for a family vacation

We bought our villa 6 years ago after holidaying ourselves in the area and fell in love with the location, people and way of life.

This area of Portugal is unspoilt and yet offers the amenities that you would require for great holiday.

Our family enjoys surfing and the fantastic beaches and surfing opportunities were obviously a great pull.

The easy access to Lisbon and the 35 min drive to the villa made it the perfect spot for us.

In addition the nearby quaint fishing village of Ericeira provides plenty of amenities including shops, restaurants and bars.

My key goal before beginning to rent the villa was to ensure that we provided a luxurious well maintained and well equipped villa for both families and large groups.

I pride myself on the high quality and presentation of our villa including:

- FULLY HEATED AND PRIVATE pool
- fabulous covered dining area for alfresco dining
- full free WIFI
- modern and tasteful décor throughout
- 5 separate and spacious boutique style bedrooms

I know how important holidays are to our family and I hope that I echo this through my customer care to our guests that I offer before, during and after their stay. I like to think the finishing touches make our holiday villa special.
