Great Lake Location

Great place to spend time on the lake. The beds were comfy and the layout of bedrooms were perfect to spread out. The only cons were the lack of cookware and condition of the dock.

Great Location and Amenities

Second time staying at this location. House provides everything needed and boathouse is right out the back door. Very comfortable sleeping and enjoy the overall quiet area.

Nice place to stay

Fairly Modern and in a nice location. Multiple bathrooms was nice. Towels weren’t in bathrooms but found them in the laundry room. Some areas could use a deeper cleaning. But overall it was a nice place to stay.

I had the best time ever. This property is so peaceful & private. The house sits right off the Canal which was perfect for me to test out my new jet skis. The people are so friendly & helpful that I will come here EVERYTIME I pull out my skis in lake Conroe ☺️

Fishing trip

Overall we were there on a guys fishing trip so the guys didn't mind the majorly stained mattresses to much although we weren't thrilled about it. We wouldn't have been able to stay if we brought the wives, especially after they seen how dirty the bottom of the showers were. My friend almost fell through the dock into the water due to the deck being in such poor condition which was pretty scary but other than those issue's it was a nice home and neighborhood to stay in.

Needs a little attention

We have been staying at this property for several years with the family. We love the location, the size of the house, and the boat dock, however it appears the new owners or management company are not keeping up with things. The back yard is a disaster, with landscape bricks and misc, building materials laying around. The boat dock has several boards that are dangerous because they are rotting. The barbeque pit had not been emptied of ashes in a very long time requiring us to dig out about 20 lbs of wet ashes before we could use it. There were active wasp nests immediately by our heads as we entered the front door that we had to take care of ourselves with some spray. The inside was OK, but the carpet needs a good cleaning and the coffee maker had not been cleaned and had mold growing in it. We really like this property and hope that the owners address these issues.

Owner's response: "Julie, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We fired the landscapers for leaving sticks and leaves in the backyard. We do not feel that the complaint of bricks and things that are outside and away from the general area is a rational complaint. - We had pest control out to take care of the wasps and they got rid of the nest. The wasps you saw were scouts looking for the nest glad pest control took care of that part for you. - We have alerted the owners about the dock and the carpet and those issues will be addressed. - Regarding the pit, we ask that the renters be responsible for the charcoal that is left and that it be cleaned before and after use. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to strive for the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

I will not be back

It was not clean from previous guests, plus if you would like to fish from dock, the hydilla is so bad. The place needs a lot of up keep. It is a peaceful area and the contact person was GREAT!

Nice Conroe Getaway

We really like this rental and have been coming here for 3 years in a row. It is very spacious, clean, and we really enjoy having our boat tied off to our own own dock. This year we noticed the dock and patio need some maintenance, with a few rotting boards and screws/nails sticking out, which could hurt someone's feet. Fewer linens seemed to be supplied this time with no bath wash clothes. Overall we had a great time and will most likely be back next year.

Great stay!

Amazing house, Perfect for the 6 of us! Great spot on lake, caught 3 catfish, we all had a blast but the Toddlers (2) enjoyed it the most! Beds were great, we will definitely be back!

No sheets. No internet

I have never stayed anywhere with NO sheets! In addition there was no internet so my college sons were not able to stay for the weekend (they could not work on their online homework without internet). I couldn’t even watch movies when they left (after one day)… the property manager was unresponsive and obviously unconcerned. The entire weekend was a waste of my money and time

Property was very comfort

The property was nice and very clean. If we had any complaints there would only be two minor ones. My husband is very sensitive to smells and odors. Housekeeping washed every towel and linen in a very strong smelling detergent. It was so strong he couldnt sleep in the bed. He had to sleep on the couch using a blanket and pillow we keep in our vehicle. In today's world, there are alot of people who are sensitive to smells. They really shouldn't use the strong smelling detergent in a property that is being rented to the public. Also, the deck going to the boat dock has some rotting issues which could be dangerous for a family with children. They may want to fix those issues soon.

Not Up To Expectations

Disappointed as I rented this for a sisters trip. The best I can say is that there is a nice patio area. Microwave was dead. Guest bath tub/shower was stopped up so in 5 minutes the water was up to your calves. Master bath sink on the left had no cold water coming out of the spout. In the living room area only 2 can lights worked and 1 lamp. There were other issues but I think you get the idea. One or two issues wouldn’t have been so bad but there were a lot. I contacted Evolve about my stay and have not heard anything back about my concerns. I have never left a review like this but wanted to make sure the next renters are aware of potential issues in case nothing gets fixed.

Nice property

Overall, the place was nice. There was one inconvenience with the upstairs shower not working correctly or draining, requiring all 7 of us using one shower. The local contact Jennifer was great. She responded almost immediately to my questions and allowed us a late checkout..which we really appreciated.
