Welcome to Beautiful "Amanda"

Welcome to Amanda - generous proportions, tastefully renovated with stunning period features an afternoon sunset on Amanda's verandah is unforgettable!

Perched on a rise looking west across the town and valley for perfect pink sunset vistas Amanda will have you relaxed and happy in as long as it takes you to turn on the hydronic heating.

An enchanting period timber home with all the amenities you desire and comforts you expect. Modern and elegant living spaces but still with a lot of country charm.

Leave the car at home for the entire time, Amanda is just perfect for your special weekend away, we're proud of our house and excited for your stay. There is off street parking accessed via the rear laneway.

Make yourself at home at Amanda and use all its facilities, BBQ and verandah, garden and sandpit for the kids!

The kitchen is fully equipped, but if you have any special requirements, please check with us first. Amanda is fully self contained and self catering. Basic items such as oils, sauces, spices, coffee, tea and long-life milk are provided.

Thanks again for having us! We had a lovely stay at “Amanda” - very comfortable house, close to everything in Daylesford. Nice yard (fully fenced - our doggo enjoyed plenty of space to safely explore) and beautiful views from the front deck, especially in the afternoon light. Fireplace kept us warm and cozy during a cold week. Well stocked kitchen - everything we needed was there. Hosts very communicative and friendly. Hope to stay here again in future! :)

Perfect weekender

This property is easy to access and is located in a quiet spot in Daylesford with a short walk to town. It is cosy, warm, comfortable and has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again!!

Mother/daughter getaway

Cosy, comfortable and very convenient. Kitchen was very well equipped and beds were big and super comfortable. We had a small dog with us and it was perfect for her. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Really good location super close to the town. Nice and spacious house does get quite cold at night however there is everything that you need at the house. Very clean and cozy would recommend

Restful Retreat

Great location, walking distance to all that Daylesford offers. Generous stock of all essentials. Very comfortable beds, plenty of linen and towels. I’ve had an extended stay before and hopefully will again.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house has such a special feel to it. It was clean, good quality furnishings and items, and open and airy. We particularly liked to location, only a few hundred meters from the street. We would recommend this home to others.

Beautiful heritage home

Lovely property. Spacious and clean. We enjoyed the short walk from the property to the main street. House has heating as well as a fire place. We really enjoyed our time at Amanda.

Cosy spot for stay in Daylesford

Had a lovely getaway with my daughter and our dog . House had a homey feel . Warm and very comfortable. Extremely well equipped. Easy walking distance to the town and amenities.

Very comfortable

We were very comfortable here for our short stay, though we struggled to get the air conditioner to work when the weather got hot. Apart from that, we had everything we could want.

Perfect

Property exceeded expectations. Literally everything we needed and more! The heating had been switched on before we arrived. Soooo warm and cosy. Perfect location. Easy walk to the lake and surrounds. Just metres to cafes and restaurants. We have stayed in Daylesford a few times. This is far and away the best we have stayed in. We will be back!

Lovely warm home

Great house and location. Although my friend has a dust allergy and the wood paneling throughout the house was dusty. Air conditioner next door was very noisy. Otherwise fantastic!

Great place for a stay in Daylesford. Super close to town and walkable to everywhere. The home is really cosy and well appointed. It is on a main street into town so if you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs and problem solved although that's only an issue in the front bedroom so you can always just stick a kid in there :) like we did. We had a small issue and communication with the host got it resolved easily. We'll definitely be picking Amanda next time we're taking a break in Daylesford.

Great house, great location

The house was very comfortable and charming with a huge fenced backyard- perfect for us and our dog. The front fence is quite low, which was fine for us but if you have a big dog that can jump high they may be able to escape. Beds were very comfy and the place had everything we needed. Also very good location close to town - less than 10 minute walk to the shops and cafes. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, crockery, pots and pans, etc so perfect for cooking at home if that’s what you want to do. Also the house stayed cool even in hot weather. The furniture out on the front porch is almost at the end of its life and could use replacing but other than that can’t think of anything I would change. Will definitely stay here again.
