Perfect holiday base

Fantastic location for a beach holiday and for touring this lovely part of the world. Beautiful views from the house which is equipped like a home away from home. Very comfortable.

Grandma’s place with lots of extra rules

Pleasant owner who is easy to deal with. The property is further away from amenities than we appreciated. Plenty of rules. To us it felt like renting someone’s Grandma’s place which wasn’t what we were looking for. Others may enjoy it.

Fantastic location with beautiful view and sunset’s over the ocean.

Very comfortable, fully equipped, particularly the kitchen with lots of entertainment space. A short walk to the beach. We had a great stay.

Beautiful views

This property is located in a beautiful part of Tasmania. The views are stunning. Our children love to surf and Carlton beach is a popular spot. The house is 5 mins from the beach and has everything a family needs for a surf holiday. We rented in Spring, had a couple of wet days but were cosy and warm in the house. The woodheater in the lounge and the sunroom kept us toasty, plenty of games and activities for wet days. Beds really comfortable, clean and warm with electric blankets. Kitchen was well equipped for a family. Owner keen to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, good communication. Highly recommend, we hope to return in the Summer

Great views, quiet location

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and very well equipped house to make you feel at home. The front was was great for practicing our morning yoga in whilst looking out at the ocean. Andrew was easy and prompt to communicate with.

We loved our stay at Surf Beach House! The views were amazing and the short walk to enjoy the beach was great. The house had everything you need for a great getaway.

Comfortable beach house with wonderful view

The house is very comfortable with everything you could want for a family stay. The location is outstanding with a short walking access to the beach and a three min drive to a well known surf Beach. A good store and take always, with a pizza van on the weekends means you do not have to travel far for all your needs

Fantastic spot

What a lovely spot to stay and take in the Peninsula and Hobart. The view was just beautiful overlooking the water. We stayed in July and it was lovely to have the huge sun room as well as the woodfire heating. Amenities were close enough by for our needs and the house was homey and cosy. Thanks so much, we had a great stay.

Amazing Views!

Our stay was great the views were amazing looking out the massive glass windows and views from both bedrooms! Very comfortable house the beach just across the road close to town was great!! Thank you for the stay will definitely return.

Fits the bill

We found the beds comfortable, everything you needed was there (including a surprising and very enjoyable local sparkling wine) and even on a cold night the ambience was only improved by the log fire. We also enjoyed the nice litle touches like freshly cut flowers The view was also a delight and a good excuse to sit and do nothing. Location is an easy drive to Hobart but far enough from everywhere to be peaceful. Nearby IGA and BWS are handy and the IGA sold us some of the best scallops and other produce we've had in a long time.

Great Location!

A very comfortable beach house with a great sunroom, fantastic water views and an easy walk to the beach. The wood heater was ideal on a couple of cool nights and the outdoor shower was perfect after surfing. Would definitely stay here again.

A great house with a lovely ambience, amazing views and close/easy beach access. Everything you could want is there, the house and kitchen are really well set up and featured very generous supplies of goodies. The beach and the pot belly are also excellent! We all had a wonderful family holiday - many thanks to the helpful hosts.

Home away from home

A great respite for the travel-weary. This home was immaculately presented: clean, warm, comfortable and so well provisioned, central to everything and a view you could never tire of seeing. Our hosts had thought of everything. Definitely would return.
