Rivernook

We stayed in Rivernook with our 2 dogs. Absolutely beautiful location with rolling hills one side and beach the other. Well equipped cottage, comfy beds. Had some kangaroos come to visit as well. Will definitely stay again.

We didn't want to leave

A gorgeous homely cottage, we felt at home immediately. The views were amazing, a koala visited us on Christmas Day and we saw Eagles and Kangaroos while relaxing on the balcony. We cannot wait to come back.

A little slice of heaven

Beautiful property with breathtaking scenery. A perfect place to get away, breathe in fresh air and spend time surrounded by nature. Absolutely loved our stay, comfortable beds, warm fire and walks along the beach. Will definitely be back!

Great getaway

Property had everything you need. Secluded from other accommodation on the property. Wood fire warmed the whole place, and sunlit living area in the afternoon was great. Split system as an option. Coffee machine was a bonus. Very comfortable. Bushwalk through the paddocks over the river and into the bush and a chat with the cows.

Great location and accomodation

A lovely weekend getaway. Farms and cows on one side, the ocean on the other. Jonnah beach is amazing and well worth the trip. If you want rugged coastlines and a great cottage this is the spot.

Idyllic location with killer views

We loved our long weekend beach farmstay behind beautiful Johanna beach. Views from the master bedroom, kitchen, living and deck are stunning and we enjoyed a few killer sunsets. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and kitchen well equipped - coffee machine was well used! We really appreciated the pool after a day of walking and exploring.

Christmas in Johanna

This is our 3rd stay at Johanna seaside cottages. And we had a lovely stay and the weather was lovely. Our two dogs enjoyed going to the beach every day. It’s a great location!

A sanctuary for relaxation

A beautiful spot, perfect to unwind. You can have a bush and ocean experience at this beautiful location - be sure to do the walk on the property. Only 10 min walk to the beach. Lovely to be able to have the hounds on holiday.

Spectacular property

Rivernook at Johanna Seaside Cottages was truly the perfect end of year getaway my husband and I needed. The views are one in a million, the property is so comfortable with everything you need and the surroundings are spectacular. Our dogs loved it too-great for walking and a secure backyard where they rolled and played in the sun. We were lucky enough to have a koala perch on our back porch! We loved the quiet on New Years Eve too-no fireworks, just the roll of the ocean. Now that we're home, we're finding we already miss it! We will definitely be back and look forward to it. Tom, their caretaker, was lovely too-even helping us with a flat tyre!!!
