This cute Queensland Bungalow has been renovated and furnished with great style. From the time you walk through the white picket gate it will feel like the perfect home away from home. Much thought has been given to young families to have a holiday with everything provided.

When you open the door, you will be welcomed with timber floors, freshly painted walls, modern furniture and tasteful décor. With three good sized bedrooms, all air conditioned and with fans as well, the main bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom with 2 singles and the third has a bunk with a double and single beds. A lovely open plan lounge leads into the spacious kitchen and onto the dining area with stools to sit at and chat to the chef or keep an eye on the cooking. There is a 6 seater Dining suite.

The large Veranda is semi enclosed to keep the little ones safe. This is also another great Dining space with the BBQ right there. From here you can watch the children playing in the Cubby or running around the large grassy yard. There is a stairway in the backyard that leads you to a breath-taking view of one of Currimundi’s best surf breaks and the direct access is just steps away where you will be dipping your toes in the ocean.

This property is not only on the beach front but also close to Coco’s and Beach Espresso Café, perfect for morning coffee’s, great Brekkies or hire of a Stand- Up Paddle board to go for a paddle. Currimundi Lake offers calmer waters, or for the swimmer and surfer there is the patrolled beach beside the Lake.
The yard is fenced at the front of the property, however one side and the back of the yard leading to the beach is not fenced.

Fabulous property - couldn't ask for a better location ! Walking distance to fantastic dog beaches and walking tracks. The accommodation is well equipped with lovely modern furnishings and everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back !

This stay was amazing. The beach is right at the rear of the property. Access is within a minute or two. Lovely walks and coffee shops at the end of the road. The house is very well equipped and beautifully appointed. Felt like home away from home the second you walk in the door.

Great Getaway

Great little house in a beautiful location. Stunning beach and lake area. Lovely town. Very relaxed atmosphere - perfect place to get away from it all. House is lovely older style with a great back deck - spent most of our time there. Just a little walk up over the hill to the beach - which you can hear clearly at night. A short stroll up the beach to the beautiful Currimundi Lake where swimming is wonderful. Only thing I would say is needed at this property is screens on the windows - the flies can be a nuisance.

A great place for a young family

Lovely being just back from the beach and a short walk to the inlet. Great kids books and garden. Set up for baby twins which was very handy for us. Baby safe. Only challenges were no bath/baby bath and no teatowels. Otherwise perfect for a young family.

Neat and tidy with everything we needed. The location was perfection. We never wanted to leave.

This house had everything we needed to make our stay as 2 adults and 2 small children super comfortable. Cute little house, very well presented. All of the kids toys and books, the cot and change table, kids sized table and chairs, were so handy to have. And the cubby and slide in the backyard were just heaven for our boys. We loved the sound of the ocean being our constant backdrop. The walk up the hill was my exercise for the week because we did this soooo many times every day, just so we could look at the beautiful view. Our kids have never slept so well, purely from exhaustion. The lake is a few minutes walk away, or anywhere from 5-15 minutes if you have a 2 year old that insists on walking. The lake is perfect for small children as it is sheltered from the ocean and is nice and shallow. Even the dog enjoyed this place, I could tell! With the dog beach straight down the beach access stairs and a place for dogs to swim, protected from the waves is just a stroll up the beach (in the other direction to the lake). The only negatives I can come up with was the 3rd bedroom had no air conditioning, which we really needed when we stayed in January. However, we just ended up sleeping our kids in one room so they had the air con. Things like under the beds need more attention when it comes to cleaning, as when we pulled out the trundle bed it was apparent it had not been used or cleaned under there in quite some time. And the dryer was full of sand, so it was a little frustrating to put clean clothes in, only for them to come out full of sand. The joys of beach side living, I suppose! The positives far, far outweighed those little negatives though and we would stay again.

Beautiful surrounds, home away from home

We, as two families stayed at the beachhouse for 3 nights, and wish we could have stayed longer! The property is light, airy and clean, with everything you may need for a stay. A beautiful stroll over the hill and we were greeted with whale sightings and surf. Currimundilake is also close by, perfect for a day with safe waters for little ones. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very easy walk to beach, lake and cafes. The house is clean and well presented. We appreciated the kids toys, books and play area out back. We had everything we needed and would love to return.
