Part of the Sandstone Point property at the south end of town, there are a number of restaurants and shopping options nearby, plus a movie theater directly across the highway (please use caution when crossing). The beach is just a two-block walk and down a flight of stairs.

A cozy studio layout features a comfy queen bed, a futon, gas fireplace, and a flatscreen TV (cable and WiFi included) for rainy days. Get some fresh air and sip your coffee from the patio furniture on the balcony and soak up the ocean view.

Easy meals are possible with a microwave and coffeemaker, and a mini-fridge can store leftovers. With a full bathroom, up to two will sleep here comfortably. No need to leave the dogs out at home because this condo is dog-friendly (please note a small, nightly pet fee).

This condo is perfect for a couple or a small family - spend days wandering the beach and playing in the sand, or head up to Devils Lake for a day kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or horseback riding on trails and the beach.

Good stay!

clean great price will definitely do it again. First time it’s happened in over 20 days, but apparently if the maid forgets to put something in your room, the person that you call to fix that problem is not very motivated to do so

Great views, clean and fully stocked. Nice to have the fire place. The bed needs to be upgraded. The mattress was really uncomfortable. The room was very affordable and comfortable, please just replace the mattress.

Affordable, good location

Lovely little room with an ocean view. We failed to discover the heater until night two (it’s a small panel to the left of the gas fireplace). We needed a neighbor to help us figure out the door lock — it’s a long code that you enter into the pad on the door (so, ignore the lockbox right next to the door, despite what the instructions said).

Anniversary get away

This is our second stay at this property. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary. Overall it was fine. It had a “veiw” of the ocean and we could hear the waves which we liked. The room itself was exactly like the site stated. Like a studio or hotel room. It had a small fridge, microwave, futon sofa, TV and bed. The only thing my husband and I found to be underrated was the bed! It was so hard and uncomfortable that we both didn’t sleep well. Which was unfortunate as we took this as a quick getaway to rest and relax away from our kids. We would stay again, just bring extra padding for the bed.

Greasy feet

The floor of this room was so oily that we would slip and slide all over - we had to wear our shoes inside to not have greasy feet. The toilet seat was broken and pinched us. There was animal hair all around and under the couch and bed.

Disappointment

Numerous things were disappointment with this stay. First off the bed was hard as a rock. Second your pictures show a nice view, but then the room that I got was a corner room that you can barely even see out to the beach. The coffee maker sitting on the mantle and you can't even plug it in because the cords not long enough to reach down to the plug-in. So why have a coffee maker on the mantle? The TV, you can't even see the guide so you don't know what channels you have what's coming on next nothing. The shower, barely any water pressure hard to even take a shower and rinse off. The pictures on your website compared to the rooms that you offer very disappointing. If I would have known how small the room was, how uncomfortable the bed was, how there was no sugar or cream for the coffee maker let alone being able to plug in the coffee maker. You had to move it over to the where the fridge and the microwave is and move the microwave just to plug it in. Oh and not even a lamp by the bedside on the nightstand? Just a very disappointing stay.

It was okay for a few day stay. The room floor was really sticky and around the bed was so dusty. Our back door didn’t lock and had to use a small bar to keep it locked. Bathroom definitely needs to be remodeled, rust on lights and holes in the wall. Tv remote didn’t work , also the fighter place wouldn’t turn off so it was always so warm in the room. There is a quite time placed on wall in hallway but all neighbors upstairs and downstairs were very loud at night with music blasting,slamming doors,loud doggies. Very hard beds but glad we brought blankets. Parking was a nightmare!!!!! But for a night stay or 2 tops is doable.

New bed that was the worst bed I have ever slept on. I actually wanted to leave. The pull out futon was dirty with dog hair, bedding smells like wet dog. Plug in by TV coffee pot was not working. So no not a good stay. Nebors dogs cried, people in hall were loud. You can hear everything outside the rooms. Someone was smoking outside by the doors. And someone on the patio was smoking on back patio.

Good for the price

The place was very clean and also nicely located with a "cute little ocean view". Sadly, it was a very cold weekend with king tide and we were really looking forward to the little fireplace romantic ambiance in our room... It doesn't work :( . As other have mentioned, the 10 digits weird code to enter the room each time is quite painful (good luck as it will never work the first time). Last, bring your earplugs as the door has some pretty big gaps all around and the hallway can be noisy with all those pups. All in all, again, for the price and the ease to bring our mini dog with us, it worked out.

Misleading ad

Let’s start with that 10-digit entry code you must punch in every time you want to enter the room, not a good first impression. Fairly clean room except for the curtains and wall where a headboard should be, they had heavy dirty stains, and my impression was dirty, greasy hair, so I pulled the bed away from the wall to the middle of the room and slept at the other end. The gaps in the door would whistle occasionally with the wind annoying. This room is a handyman’s nightmare all repairs were done wrong, and it is noticeable. Too bad you can’t find decent rooms that don’t require a second mortgage, but this one was almost affordable.

Great view of powerlines and buildings. Water pressure,...whats that? Several outlets dont work, and the security locks a bit much. What happened to keys? All in all pretty good. Id go back again.

I want to get someone attention with this , hard worker couple trying to enjoy a quiet vacation on the beach , but we had a very bad experience, cold night and we ending with space heater, because the fire place does not work , and I had to notify a housekeeper what she told me was that they were aware of that ! Neighbors knocking in my door several times to let me know that they were leaving they dogs there and if we can let them know if they bark ! Unacceptable! Dogs barking all night and next morning, construcción work just right next to our building and noise until late night even though it was the weekend days ! And now after they already charge me for my stay the amount is in the application, and verbo fees , they extra collecting 3 times more $55 dollars for I don’t know what ! Horrible experience with the place we stay and with Vacasa professionalism, trying to charging me more that I was told and I already pay ! I wish someone in charge of the office can reach me and explain me this charges please at least !.

Unfortunately disappointed

We have stayed here several times and always had a great experience, clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable. Unfortunately this trip was very disappointing. The room was lacking heating and air conditioning, the sliding window handle was broken and had to be locked with a metal pole to leverage the door closed, there was no lamp (as displayed in the listing photos). We stayed for 9 nights so we ran out of towels and needed new linens, but it was hard to get a hold of staff to get actually them. The coffee maker had to sit on the floor because there was no outlet close enough for the cord to reach while on the table. There was mold in the grout in the bathroom. The hallway area was dirty and unkept. The units specified NO smoking, yet the whole area constantly smelled like smoke due to other guests as well as staff standing out side of rooms, And or, inside the hallways smoking. It did not help that there was a gap between the frame of the door and the door, so smells and voices traveled into the room easily. The unit specified quiet times starting at 9:00 pm but was not enforced, as children yelled and played and lit fireworks in the parking lot (next to my car). I tried to contact the office to handle this and I could not get ahold of anyone. Staff asked us to leave any garbage in a bag, outside of our rooms to be picked up. But it sat all day so we took it out our selves, not a huge deal but there also was no extra trash bags. My family and I are so disappointed because this has been our go to spot for vacations and have always had a great experience. We understand this set up is different from a traditional hotel, but the amenities and cleanliness were severely lacking this trip.

Good for what we needed

There really wasn’t a lot of options for parking, considering the amount of guests that were there. And the trail to the beach was decent but once you get to the part of actually getting on the beach, you have to climb through a bunch of huge rocks. So we only made that trip once, then drove to a spot where they had parking and easier access to the beach. Other than that, definitely put directions somewhere on how to turn on the shower. We just took baths since our stay wasn’t long enough for me to need to wash my hair (we only stayed 2 nights) but a shower would have been nice. The deck was ok to sit and relax and read a book. But the apartments are right off the highway so you get the ocean sound mixed with traffic sounds. But the affordability was perfect for what we needed. Who really stays in the room when they’re at the ocean anyways? There’s beaches to explore and adventure to be had outside of the room! :) definitely would stay again.

Cozy, nice weekend stay

We enjoyed the cozy, clean room. Fireplace was nice, and plenty of clean towels and linens were provided. Especially nice that they allowed pets and my dog could come with us to play for the weekend on the beach. Only thing worth mentioning is that our shower was broken so we could only take sit down baths. No a huge deal, but a hot shower would have been nice.

Bedding looked like it had been slept in and just remade. Sheets were very dirty and he hair on them. The pillows had large yellow stains as well. Toilet tank was cracked in half as well as the toilet seat. Sliding glass door handle was almost completely broken off.

Paper thin walls

Enter ing the building we went immediately up the stairs which were dirty with big wads is hair. The toilet tank and seat were cracked. You could not sit on the seat without getting pinched. The walls were so thin you could hear everyone in every room, there was no privacy at all. The TV did not work. No sugar for coffee. Very disappointing.

Out of service

Room was clean except for coffee cups. Gas Fire place did not work. Toilet took 30 minutes to fill and top was broken. Bathroom fan did not work. Outlet coffee pot was plugged into did not work. We had to set on floor by another outlet. Rented for two nights but left after first night. Left message with manager but got no response. Ocean view was more like power line/transformer view. Luckily they don’t take care of property so we had deer eating the weeds in the am. Maintenance at this location is not!

Perfect get away spot.

The room was perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time exploring the area and the room was a great resting spot. The patio was nice and seeing the sunset from the room was really nice.

Clean room, South LC

The room itself was clean. Stairwell and hallway not so much. Parking lot spaces are very narrow!! Overall, for a quick weekend away it was just fine!! Fire place was a nice touch!!!
