My husband and I have been opening up our vacation homes to guests as far back as 2012. Our hosting experience first began with scrapbooking and quilting groups that would stay at our properties for a fun girl's weekend full of crafting. We had such a great experience with those groups and really enjoyed hosting that we decided about 10 years ago to expand our demographic by hosting on vacation home rental platforms. Overall we have been hosting guests in our Bailey home since 2012 and our Estes Park home since 2018.
Our family life is busy with the raising of 4 children. We decided to begin purchasing investment property in 2012 as an additional investment for our retirement and help with future college tuition as our children aged. (We now have one married, one in college and two in elementary school being homeschooled.) We own and manage the properties ourselves so that we have better control of our guest's experience. We have enjoyed hosting over the years and look forward to doing so for many years to come. We work hard to make sure that our guests feel welcome and cared for while staying at either of our properties.

This property is uniquely set up with the main home space and additional multi-purpose space over the detached garage. The "workshop" over the garage is a large room that can be used for a variety of activities: crafting, game room, office/meeting space, yoga, etc...We have hosted a variety of groups at this property because of the "workshop". We've hosted families using the space for games and crafts, special interest groups have used the space for meetings, yoga instructors have hosted group yoga, crafting groups have used the space for scrapbooking/quilting/card making, etc. The possibilities are endless!
