New Modern Home Sleeps 12

Private large home surrounded by trees on two hilly acres. Located within walking distance to downtown historic Placerville. Visit restaurants, coffee shops, bars, microbreweries, wine bars, boutique shopping and art studios.
20 minutes to Coloma Gold Rush State Park and the American River for swimming and whitewater. Enjoy the many apple ranches, Christmas Tree Farms, wineries and breweries within minutes of your stay. Hiking, lakes, rivers and a beautiful hour drive to ski resorts and South Lake Tahoe.
This is a beautiful new two level home. This listing is for the upper level of the home only. If you are interested in reserving both levels, please make in inquiry and we will send you the link. This upper level is spacious and well-lit with a living/dining/kitchen area. This level has its own entrance and garage to park in. When reserving this upper level, there is no access from inside the home to bottom/top level.
The space is bright and spacious with privacy among the trees. Enjoy dining and lounging on the large deck. We have updated the high speed WiFi.

Pets are allowed WITH permission and approval. Pet fee is $150 per pet per stay.
All pets must have a crate and may not be left alone in the house. Dogs must be on a leash when outside.

Home is perfect for multi-family or large groups. Great for large groups, entertaining and events (event fee TBD per event). ANY additional guests beyond 2 people, for an event or gathering of ANY kind, is allowed with permission and approval PRIOR to arrival. Any applicable fees will be determined and charged per request.

Parking must not block in lower level parking access. There is parking available in the garage, in front of the house, on the driveway and extra spots below the home. Please notify us if you'll be needing these additional parking spaces. Vehicles must not block-in lower level parking access and may be towed if owner is not immediately available.

Quiet hours are 10:00pm-8:00am.

Beautiful large home

Everything went very smooth. The house was gorgeous and the views were amazing. Only draw back was the freeway noise from the balcony and the rutted long driveway. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Our daughters wedding

We used this home as a gathering hub for our family during our daughter’s wedding weekend. Huge beautiful home with plenty of space. Super clean!! Owner was absolutely amazing!!! Couldn’t have had a better weekend!

This house was amazing! So much room to relax for our family of 8! Huge kitchen and living room! We loved the large dining table that had room for everyone to eat all together! The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms with the rain shower faucets we all loved!! Thank you for such an awesome rental

Good location for center of wine tasting.

the property is in need of maintenance. Hand rail in garage needs work to secure, sliding screen doors to deck are off track, pocket doors in bathrooms off track and etc.

Beautiful Home & Great Location

Our family enjoyed this large spacious home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy family time. A bonus is there are grocery stores and restaurants close by. The hostess was quick to respond and very helpful. Having access to the garage for parking was a huge bonus for our multi-car group. Take note that the top bunks have a weight restriction of 150#, but there are also trundle beds under each bunk and will be made ready on request. Clarify the location of the house because Google Maps mislabels it at the neighbors house because it is set back off the road up a winding drive. If we ever find ourselves in Placerville again we would book this house again.

Excellent Property!

Had a fantastic stay here. Location was super as it was very close to town, yet secluded and you felt definitely "away". Our family's intent was to use this as our base for whitewater rafting which is only 12 minutes from Chili Bar put in. Much attention to detail within the home - customized wifi login with fast internet connection, coloring material if you have small children, plenty of chairs and open space for games/family time, all beds having linens on them, large (wide and tall) garage for gear storage, individual room thermostats, and plenty of outlets for personal electronics. We didn't need to make contact for any needs, but all communications were very timely. Thank you very much for making this a superb stay, Kristina! As we look forward, we will definitely be back!

Very nice stay

The rental house was amazing! Modern, spacious, full of light, very clean. Excellent kitchen, dining, living room, all in one open area. Large deck with great views of the sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The owner was great on communication. One item of note. Steep hill to get to the house. Otherwise, all was fantastic!

Placerville house

Kristina was very good at responding to me but when we arrived there were a few things that had not been cleaned up. I never did get the garbage can . I think if we had bad weather we wouldn’t have made it up the steep dirt road that should be in your add. I will never rent a house that is attached to another level again with renters. There were also good qualities. The lay out of the house was really nice , there was a lot of room for everyone to be together. We went there to have a quilt retreat & we had plenty of room .

Bridal Party Sleepy from Alarms Through The Night

This was an attractive property that was roomy, clean and new. The main problem was the crazy blaring alarm system for a propane or carbon monoxide warning that startled all of us out of our sleep every night. The first night we had to open all windows and doors for safety issues according to the owner. As the property is situated near the freeway the road noise carried throughout the night into the master bdrm and was impossible to sleep. We were awakened all four nights due to this alarm . It obviously had a glitch in the system since we are here to report this but it was extremely annoying. Also, our guests were less than happy about the showers heads in the bathrooms! Otherwise, the kitchen worked out well and was well equipped for a large group and there was plenty of deck seating.

Perfect retreat!

My friends and I rented this property for our annual "gaming retreat", and it was ideal - multiple beds and bathrooms, and great gaming (table) space. We hope to stay again in the future, and recommend this home to any who are looking for a roomy getaway!

Absolutely beautiful in a fantastic area. So close to town, but all the feels of living outside of town in a quiet area. Great house layout with plentiful sheets, towel, beds, etc. Highly recommend it.

We had such an amazing stay here ❤ the whole family loved every moment of our stay. It was clean easy to cook a big meal great master bathroom and It was about a 20 minute drive to the snow where we had tons of fun.

huge modern rental house

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is a very spacious, bright, clean, and close to the freeway house. It has everything you need including internet for streaming or working. The house is very private. Don't get fooled by the description that there are tenants on the first floor. We have not heard/seen anyone. The view on the trees around the house makes you think you are in a high end resort. The only regret we had is that our stay was too short to enjoy the house. Thank you Kristina for letting us stay at your property!

Great experience! Clean property and easy check in and check out. WiFi was excellent! The only thing I would add are a few more pots and pans to enjoy that wonderful kitchen but we made do!

Big and roomy for gatherings. Lot is far away from neighbors on a hill overlooking Broadway. We would have enjoyed better wifi and cable or dish TV. We had to go to a downtown brewery to watch playoffs, when rather relax and dine in during the games.
