Ubicado a 1 milla del centro de Murphys en 6. 5 acres. Privado pero no remoto. Nueva construcción, esta pequeña cabaña encantadora es fresca y única. Cálido, colorido y amigable con una bonita combinación de muebles nuevos y antiguos. La comodidad es nuestro enfoque principal, cama king size, sábanas de algodón, baño brillante, gran terraza con vista, hermosa cocina de azulejos y granito y acogedora sala de estar. También hay una cama aerodinámica tamaño queen que se puede extender en la cubierta si elige dormir bajo las estrellas. A poca distancia de viñedos de Indian Rock y sala de degustación. Las tardes están llenas de sonidos de ranas y grillos, apaga las luces para observar las estrellas. Ciervos, pavos, codornices y conejos son visitantes frecuentes.
Base perfecta para su visita a Murphys y todo lo que el Condado de Calaveras tiene para ofrecer.

Cottage was just as described. . . .quiet, clean, well appointed, great location close to town and local sites, beautiful views from deck, responsive host . . . everything you would want from a vacation rental and more. We would definitely recommend this property to others and plan to be back ourselves.

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the cabin. It is equipped with an ample supply of anything you need (I know to pack less next time) Star gazing was amazing. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

weekend getaway

perfect location for quiet relaxation up in the woods surrounded by beautiful nature with the luxury of hotel-like inside/ well equipped home. Did not need to go out of the property at all because the place is already sufficiently amazing. Only minor communication problem did not get exact info how to open the gate ahead of time but Renee answered our call right away and helped us.

Relaxing Getaway

We had a lovely time. The weather was perfect. The host was very responsive. The home has everything you would need. The views from the deck were amazing, especially watching to moon rise. We were able to recharge. We would love to come stay again!

Cozy Cottage

Quiet and secluded with wonderful accommodations. Beautifully decorated inside and a super comfy bed also. Because the cottage sits up on a hill, the views from the deck and surrounding acreage are really lovely. Very peaceful place.

Get away to gold country

My beau and I absolutely loved our stay at Renee and Paul’s hideaway! It is beautifully designed with style and class. It was the perfect size for 2. We grilled and sipped both our evening wine and morning coffee on the deck-watching the antics of the resident hummingbird. Bed was very comfortable! Nice bath and toiletries. The kitchen was perfect. (Note that there is a microwave but no oven). Secluded and yet close enough to town. We will be back!

Beautiful cottage in Murphys

Loved this sweet cottage! Everything we needed was there, and it is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Located about 1.5 miles outside of town and set on its own with lovely sweeping views meant a real sense of privacy and so quiet and peaceful! Renee was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back as this is a perfect base for walking in Big Trees State Park (fall colors were amazing) and cycling, plus enjoying the sweet town and amenities of Murphys.

Serene Treetop Cottage

This little cottage is the perfect place to escape from the hubbub and stress of everyday life. You feel like you're amongst the treetops in the middle of a forest, yet you're a mile or two from charming Murphys and many wineries in the area. This location is also the perfect jumping off place for exploring the Sierras or Gold Country towns. And if you like hummingbirds, trees, or beautiful art, you are in luck, as this location has them all. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The "Hummingbird" Cottage

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this property. It was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking and dining on the deck in the evening and sipping our coffee there in the morning. The seclusion of the property allows for a peaceful stay. We were constantly watching the numerous birds around us - especially the humming birds! We only wished we had booked another night because it was hard to leave.

Peaceful Tree House

Imagine staying in a treehouse, that's how you'll feel in this wonderful abode perfectly appointed for two. The details of this little hideaway are beautifully curated for comfort. We were there during the first rain of the season and thoroughly enjoyed watching it pour down on the pine and oak trees through picture windows in every room. While the property itself is very private, it is located in a charming neighborhood. If you are the walking type, it is an easy two mile walk into town. It was magical staying there. We can't wait to return.

We've been coming to Murphys as a get away for over 15 years. We love all the diverse activities that Calaveras County has to offer. We have always dreamed of having a place of our own in Murphys and have looked at properties in the area for over 10 years. We always prefer to stay in vacation rentals because it allows us to see different areas and different neighborhoods. We first rented this property in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the beautifully decorated cottage, the amazing view and the perfect combination of being away from it all but close to downtown. We were lucky enough to purchase it furnished in 2020. The previous owner, an interior designer, designed and decorated the cottage to be well appointed, comfortable and full of color.
As the new owners we will not be changing a thing! We invite those of you who previously stayed on this property to join us once again. We are happy to continue to share this unique and beautiful property with other travelers.
