Our family came for a wedding and we booked both the Fishing and Old West cabins. We all compared notes with other wedding attendees and had a few over for after the wedding wine and discussions. We felt we got a good deal. We paid only slightly more than the motel on Highway 4 and believe our accommodations were far better than what we saw there. When you add in that we didn’t have to drive once we got to the property we booked and some of the kitchen amenities, which we did use, the deal was very good. There are some very nice luxury rooms in town and these cabins are not the same as those. However, we lodged six people, for two nights , in two cabins, and our total was about the same price as one of the luxury rooms we visited that housed two people for two nights.
We want to let people know we enjoyed these cabins. We read the reviews of these cottages and after taking some of the lower reviews into account and comparing with our experience I am inclined to believe that other reviewers may be wanting luxury lodging at unrealistic prices. These cabins were advertised honestly, they had freshly washed linens, were clean, the host was a good communicator, and these things with the price warrant a five star. We do not feel Murphys is a $300+ per night town even with luxury accommodations. Those rooms seemed to warrant 5 stars but we wouldn’t pay that for a Murphy's stay. We were very happy with these properties and this price. If you want to be comfortable in Murphy's and save money go here.
