great communication with the host, the accommodations were great!! great view of the gulf from the room, so close and easy to get to the beach with the walkway, it had everything we needed and more, close to several restaurants that were excellent and the pier was close too. The pool was very inviting too after a day at the beach. We would definitely go back

The beach view was great, the hot tubs were hot and crowded because it was chilly. The only complaints that I would have was that the room smelled musty, there was a dust on the walls, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. We had to layer the bunkbeds with additional blankets to prevent from feeling the springs.

Family Vacation

This condo was perfect for our family. Slept 6 of us comfortably. We had a perfect view of the ocean and beach. The best part for all of us was having access to so many pools but especially the lazy river. Definitely at the top of the list of best vacation spots.

The best location!

This condo really is one of a kind. The amenities are amazing whether it’s the pool, hot tub, or the lazy river. It’s a beautiful view from the balcony and a short walk to the beach, where it’s another short walk to the pier or to grab some amazing seafood right next to the pier. The condo is also nicely renovated and feels like home. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this condo. The lazy river was cool, the pool was nice and big. The fitness center was awesome. It had allot of equipment and was not very busy when I was in there. The room itself was perfect for my family of four with 2 young kids. Thanks

Good location

The view was beautiful. The pools were advertised as heated but we weren’t able to get in the pools the 4 days we were there because they were so cold. One of the main reasons we booked here was because of the lazy river but we only did it once because of the cold temp. The location was good and the condo was clean. It would be nice if beach towels were available to be able to take to the beach.

Thank you for staying. There are two heated pools at Destin West. Not all are heated. We have had a cool March, which has contributed to the large pools being colder than normal.

Paradise Could Use a Few Upgrades

The best part of this condo is its location. Great access to the beach, the pools, restaurants and other sites. It was very clean and the manager was great when we needed help. The beds and sheets were also good. The kitchen has great appliances. What I wished for was a more updated condo regarding decorating. Furniture seemed old, wall art was pretty bad, and no where to hang wet bathing suits and towels (that long hall could use some hooks!!). And not sure what the rug on the deck was for - it was pretty ugly. Also we were there for 2 weeks ... we ran out of dish washing soap after 2 days because there are not enough cups, glasses, silverware, dishes. Lots of great pans and cooking tools, however!! We would definitely come back to this property again, but would look for a different condo. We have never been to this part of Florida before ... we loved it!! So Beautiful!

Thank you for staying. We provide enough dishes and the like for the number of people the condo sleeps, plus a few more. There is a fantastic Bosch dishwasher in the condo for washing dishes, so we don't believe that washing dishes is a major chore here. We do replace a few piece of furniture every year (master bed was last fall, for example), as well as appliances as needed. For example, on May 15 2024, we put in a new washer/dryer. We cannot account for taste in art. We don't see anything wrong with the art on the walls as you are the first person to mention that in any review ever!

Great View

The view was amazing. The deep blue and green ocean waters were stunning. We ate on the deck often. The parking attendant was very friendly and helped us find a close place to park and directed us to the elevator upon our arrival. The only three suggestions we might offer would be a new mattress on the master bed. The one on the bed currently is very soft. The other suggestion is to fix the drain in the shower. Water is very slow to drain. Finally, the sliding glass door sticks and is very difficult to close. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Perfect location and Perfect accomodations!

Ken was so hopeful in helping me book this last minute staycation. He recommended this unit because of its close proximity to the best restaurants, and view! If you are looking for easy beach access, great local food, and comfortable but luxurious stay, this unit was perfect!

Family Trip

This was our third time staying at Destin West but first time on the gulf side. The view was great from the balcony. The lazy river was not as clean as it was on previous trips but the large gulf side pool was cleaned daily. The beach service should allow weekly rentals so don’t have to wait in a line until 9am each morning. They rent 1st come 1st served. We ended up renting next door with other company who would allow us to reserve chairs for the week. The condo was convenient and clean. We love the close proximity over the bridge into Destin. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Wonderful Vacation Home Away from Home

My family loved visiting Destin West. The condo was very clean, spacious, and perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning, loved watching the waves come in, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The bunk beds worked perfectly for our children. We hope to visit again next year and plan to stay in the same spot. Also, all questions were answered quickly and we had no issues the entire week. The pool was so clean and the lazy river was awesome. We are so glad we found the perfect vacation spot!

Wonderful Vacation Home Away from Home

We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning, loved watching the waves come in, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The bunk beds worked perfectly for our children. We hope to visit again next year and plan to stay in the same spot. Also, all questions were answered quickly and we had no issues the entire week. The pool was so clean and the lazy river was awesome. We are so glad we found the perfect vacation spot!

This is one of my favorite condos too. The view is great and the resort has a great select of pools, easy beach access and a parking garage.

Fun family stay!

We had a great stay. We liked that this condo was walking distance to restaurants and other shops. Perfect for a family of 4.

West Destin Condo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the West Destin condo. Everything about the condo itself was better than expected. The air conditioner worked great, the appliances were sufficient, and the view was awesome. We will return again in the near future.
