Within town are parkland trails and a short drive away is Macaulay Mountain which offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing.

The County is home to over 40 wineries, many of which boast award winning wines and which are all within easy driving distance from Picton (10-20 minutes).

The small towns of Bloomfield and Wellington are approximately 10 and 20 minutes drive from Picton and also offer an excellent selection of boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants.

Amazing location and beautiful home.

  • 5 of 5

The White Rabbit was our home away from home for a weekend. Eight adults and two infants, we were all comfortable and had more than enough space. We ate in every meal and the kitchen was accessible and had everything required to cook the meals we had planned. It is in a great location, walkable to the downtown of Picton, close to Sandbanks park and the many wineries. The hosts were fantastic, ensuring we had all the information necessary and included a few extra items to helps us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Wonderful stay at the White Rabbit

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the White Rabbit for a family wedding August 25, 2018. The property was absolutely beautiful, and Julie was a gracious host. The amenities were great, and we even had some time to enjoy the outdoor deck area. The White Rabbit is conveniently located and is well within walking distance of some of the local amenities. We would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in the Picton area.

Lovely, spacious, beautiful home!

  • 4 of 5

My friends and I were thoroughly impressed with our stay at the White Rabbit. The rooms were nicely decorated, the kitchen was properly stocked, the home was centrally located in Picton and the house was spotless! The only criticism we had was we wished that all rooms had a double/queen sized bed (one room had a twin) and two of the bedroom doors did not stay closed on their own. We would reccomend the White Rabbit to anyone wanting to discover Picton and wine country!

A charming home

  • 5 of 5

A very comfortable, well-appointed house which made a perfect home base for our family on the occasion of our son's wedding. We especially enjoyed the back deck as a gathering place for morning coffee. Each of the bedrooms is beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and comfy pillows. Walking distance to all amenities, notably the LCBO and Agrarian Market. Plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street out front. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Would love to return.

A wonderful family gathering space!

  • 5 of 5

Our daughter was being married at the Waupoos Winery last weekend. We had lots of UK family visitors and rented a number of houses in the area. White Rabbit was a splendid choice for us.

Prior to our arrival Julie, our host, helped me to secure a florist, a caterer and transportation locally. This was a relief and a huge success.

The wedding was wonderful but staying at White Rabbit was spectacular! Thank you so much for a terrific weekend.

The White Rabbit House was just what we were looking for. Julie was a pleasure to deal with. Lots of parking, walk-to-town (groceries, LCBO, restaurants), well-equipped, clean and charming. Thank you!
