Our private beach access is just across Midnight Pass road, crossing is at the crosswalk in front of the resort. The other option would be to catch the trolley to the public beach, and the trolley stops right in front of our resort entrance.

We loved our stay here!! Amazing location, great pool! It was so helpful having a wagon with beach toys available to use, our 5 year old loved it! The only comment we had to make is the floor was a bit dirty as in turned the bottoms of our feet black! We mostly wore flip flops which wasn’t a big issue. Thanks for the great stay!

Front desk was not friendly, did not help us with anything that we asked for. Every time we would ask them about something they said don't have any info on your stay because you booked thru 3rd party. Will never stay there again. Does not have its on private beach,only access to beach.

We're sorry for your negative experience with the building's office. This is a separate team from ours as the Host for this property. Although we are not physically in the building, we are reachable via VRBO, phone, or email and happy to assist at any time. The building does have access to a private slip of beach across the street.

Love the Anchorage

Condo was as described. Great being on the side of the building away from the street because it is quieter. Spent a lot of time at the gorgeous pool. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils to cook with. We have stayed at 3 units in the Anchorage over the last 20 years.. one of them many times. This one was good for us and will likely be a destination for us in the future. Only complaint was the that floors made the soles of our feet black. Didn’t feel or look dirty, the condo was quite clean overall, but somehow the floor made our feet dirty. Maybe some deep cleaning with more than just a mop would help. There was also a slight inconvenience with workers installing new glass in many of the units. I know that units rented directly through the Anchorage received a discount for the noises during the day, but unfortunately we didn’t get that. Otherwise we had a great stay.

A lot of little things made it disappointing

Pros- good location and proximity to beach- good size unit for a family vacation - great amenities on the property Cons- Cold showers - little to no hot water at shower. The hot water was working at the kitchen sink though?!?- Low water pressure in showers- AC can't keep up - suite runs very hot through the day - reaches 80-82F inside - very uncomfortable.- Dishwasher very loud - can't run when sleeping. Have to run after dinner but then it interrupts family time.- One rack in stove limits how much to bake / cook for dinner- no in suite laundry - laundry is communal - 3 per load - I have never seen this in a vacation rental.- blood stains on bedroom quilt. Shows lack of detail to cleaning and maintenance in the unit.- Property manager makes you sign a contract before providing a code to the unit even though you already paid for it through VRBO.

I am surprised to see that we received 3 stars for your reservation. We did not hear from you at all during your stay. I just had my lead inspector to the home to go over the issues reported, and the report back from her is as follows: - dishwasher sounds like a normal dishwasher to me. It’s not silent, but it’s definitely not extremely loud. - AC was set to 65 after Guest left and the condo. Air conditioners will not work if set so low during extreme hot temperatures. - hot water seems to be working fine in both bathrooms - missing oven rack was stuck beside the refrigerator. They could use two new ones cause these are kind of burnt up from excessive use. These are being replaced. - I checked all three comforters for stains. I didn’t see anything wrong with them and the Guest was definitely using the comforters. They’re still on the beds. Again, truly disappointed that these issues were reported. We strive to have our guests have a great stay and I am very sorry we did not meet up to your expectations. We do send out a registration form so that our terms and conditions for staying on property are visible to our guests.

Great family vacation spot

My brother and his family stay in same build, we had 11 people total between the 2 families. All restaurants in walking distance were great and could seat all us quickly. Will do again.
