Southern Comfort is a large 3-bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom house located in the picturesque gated community of Misty Mountain, 3.3 miles from Cashiers and 3/10 mile from the Sapphire Valley Resort. The very spacious entry level comprises an open plan kitchen with an island, a dining room that seats 6, as well as a living room that has a wood-burning fireplace and satellite TV. French doors open to a covered deck area with a sitting area with a gas fireplace and a dining table. The King master bedroom is also on the entry level, and this very large bedroom has a private attached bathroom that has a jetted tub as well as a walk-in shower. Off the bedroom is a large walk-in closet as well as a private office. There is a flat-panel TV in the bedroom with satellite TV. Upstairs to the two guest bedrooms - there is a King bedroom that has its own private bathroom as well as a flat screen TV with satellite TV service. There is also a trundle bed in this room. There is also a Queen bedroom which has an attached private bathroom. Both bedrooms are "connected" via a balcony overlooking the lower-level kitchen, living room, and dining area. This home backs up to Highway 64; there will be road noise.

Misty Mountain offers access to a community pavilion that offers an outdoor fireplace, picnic tables, 4 gas grills, his/hers bathroom, and a large kitchen with fridge, microwave, and stove/oven. Great place to hang out in the evenings.

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.

Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.
