Stunning Views

This is an absolutely beautiful home. The views were amazing, the beds were luxurious, and the kitchen was very well appointed. One of the nicest houses we've ever stayed in. Perfect for a ladies getaway.

Beautiful Ocean Views

This house was the perfect spot for a reunion with friends. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the third floor and looking out at the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking large meals.

Weekend getaway with 2 families

Clean, comfortable, well appointed. It had everything we needed and then some. Location was literally across from the beach. Kitchen was well appointed for those who like to cook. Views from house were beautiful.

Gorgeous spacious clean

Beautiful house with comfortable beds! Honestly I don’t normally sleep outside of my own bed but the main bedroom bed was a pretty good substitute. AC was nice to have. The space to spread out was excellent. Easy walk to the beach. Wi-Fi worked. Walking into town is it 30 min, so easier to drive and park in town. Would definitely go back.

Great Getaway with two generations of cousins.

This home was immaculately kept, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The Location was great with a lovely view and sounds of the ocean. Overall, very comfortable and fulfilled our needs.

Honestly? Best house. So clean. So big. So nice. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. The beach is a glance away. The neighborhood was ideal. We were super close to everything…especially the beach. So much room. Well equipped kitchen. Times of towels. A table for eating and another for games. Lots of seating. Views from EVERY window. I LOVE THIS HOUSE AND WILL CHERISH THE MEMORY OF THIS WEEK THERE FOREVER.

Wonderful stay by the beach!

The house was perfect. Beautiful windows with great views of the ocean. Easy walk to the beach. Would suggest including instructions for how to use the TV remotes. Otherwise, highly recommend the house.

Family and friends at the beach

Had a lovely stay with 2 families. Plenty of room to spread out to let teenagers have space away from younger kids. Room to cook and play board games while others played right outside on the beach or at the boardwalk. Close enough to the market and stores while still being super quiet and not in the crowds.

Wonderful view

This house was very nice. Loved the view, plenty of space for everyone I mean all kids, is as adults, and even a space for me to do some work away from the crowd. I rated all 5 except for the listing as expected. I was under the impression there was a hot tub. Not a huge disappointment, we had plenty other things to do. Easy access to the beach. I did have to do a thorough cleaning of the lint trap in the dryer. I don’t think every renter is as excessive as I am when it comes to getting the lint out of the dryer after every load. Also I think someone mistaken the dryer for the washer at some point. This a beautiful getaway.

Perfect home for a group!

We were very pleased with this house, location, view, cleanliness, comfortability of the furniture and gathering space. A group of us went in on this house for a conference at the convention center, which was only 1 mile away. Totally walkable on a nice day, but unfortunately, the weather was dreary during our March stay. we mostly stayed in the main floor living area but there are two other living areas and a game room with couches in the basement. The house is huge! There is currently not a house between this house and the ocean so the view is even nice from the first floor. Overall I would highly recommend and I would definitely stay there again

Nice home...needs deep cleaning

We were met with a sign saying take off your shoes. The carpet was filthy so we kept on our shoes. It was obvious that there had been dogs as there was urine all over all the carpets. Other than that it was a beautiful home with plenty of towels...but only 4 wash clothes. We purchased more at the dollar store. The weather cooperated the whole trip. The home needs a can opener..the one that they have is broken.

Booking disaster

Booked a stay at the home ,several months ago i messed up thinking when I was to show up . the day I thought I was too get ready was the day my vacation ended contacted Vrbo along with Meredith lodging on the Oregon coast and asked what could be done and if the owners would work with . VRBO tried to work with us but Meredith lodging would not work with us at all ,yes we did get mixed up on which week we had booked but at the end the day we did not have a vacation and lost a lot of money ,be aware ,if dealing with Meredith lodging because they will not help you out if you make a mistake.

Great house and location - poor management company

The house is in a wonderful location in Seaside, OR not too far from any of the picturesque beaches. There is a large supermarket and other large stores a short drive from the house. There is a small market for odds-and-ends within walking distance of the house. The house is just by the entrance to the 'painted rocks'. The house was more than large enough for 6 adults and 1 child and was very clean upon arrival. The big issue was that the dryer was not working and the management company did not resolve the issue. The management company said 'I will have our team come look at that for you' - but no one ever came to look at the unit. I asked again about the the dryer status, I was told 'At this point, we are waiting on the homeowner to make a decision on whether they want to buy a new dryer or fix the one that is there. With that being said, I cannot guarantee that this will be taken care of during your stay. I apologize for the inconvenience of this.' I told the management company "We're spending our vacation time at a laundromat. More importantly, if the owners were here, they would have had a repairman out the same day or replace the unit the same day. I expect compensation for this significant inconvenience, in addition to other issues I've brought to your attention." I never heard back and received $100 compensation. Summary: great house + great location + awful management team.

Wonderful stay at Vista House!

Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, nice furnishings, close to the beach and beautiful views. You can’t go wrong here. Great place for our girlfriends’ getaway. Probably the nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.
