The Bear Den was everything we were hoping for and then some. The game room has plenty of activities to entertain all ages. The kitchem is fully stocked with all needed supplies. The hosts were great at answering every question. Cant wait to book it again.

Wow! Every detail for a comfortable fun family stay was there, even doggy treats for our GSD Lenox upon check in. Our Grandchildren played and played, slept sound, while the adults kept on playing and playing in the game room. So enjoyable. The hosts thought of every detail and each guest from 3 - 61 felt seen and pampered!

Weekend away

Peaceful getaway in a beautiful home in the woods. Sparkling clean and amazing attention to detail, definitely home away from home. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back again!

Loved our stay

I stayed at the Bear Den with my mother and two daughters for a girls’ trip. The house was so cozy and we loved all the fun bear themed decor. We were able to visit some local spots, sight see, visit the lake and get some walks in. The house itself was filled with games and activities for us to enjoy while there. It was a great trip!

Wonderful Family Stay

We had a lovely stay here. The host Timea is so easy to communicate with they both are so thoughtful down to every little detail. The game room was so fun and my kids loved it when it was raining. The place was very clean and had everything you could need on a trip. The golf cart was a great bonus! We can’t wait to come back again. The front deck was so nice to sit at each day. My father in law just loved it and it was so nice to see him smiling and enjoying family time. I highly recommend this place!

Very Cozy Stay

My Guest and I really enjoyed our stay, Host was very responsive. Place is very well equipped with everything you need to have a good time. Staying in is just fine with Game room you can definitely keep yourself busy. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a true Pocono's feel.

The Bear Den set the stage for a wonderful family getaway.

The Bear Den was and ideal setting for Pocono vacation with the beautiful rustic bear decor and large deck. This home greeted us with wine and chocolates, was well stocked throughout, and very clean. The Game Room (complete with snacks) was enjoyed by all Would definitely return. Thank you Timea and Brad!

Bear Den - can’t wait to come back!

This vacation was great for a number of reasons- the house itself was beautiful, clean, and came with all sorts of amenities! The owners were fabulous and great communicators especially if we had any needs or questions. The updated game room was extremely fun. The lake area was clean and a great place to have fun. The check in was quick and easy- we definitely plan to return!

They thought of everything!

The hosts thought of everything big and small. It made the stay so carefree for the adults and kids. The game room and other games gave us hours of endless fun and the snacks provided were a hit! The property and area are awesome too! We had a great time and highly recommemd it! We plan to return!

The Perfect Place!

Amazing place to stay! The amenities were truly perfect. From the bear decor to the games and activities available, we could have stayed another week and not used all that was available! The hosts were only a text away and checked in to make sure all was set! Timea and Brad even left treats for our furry family member! A memorable experience and we will be sure to return!!

Every year me and my family try to book a long weekend trip to PA, and the Bear Den was by far our favorite home to stay at. Timea and Brad are such amazing hosts. They are super communicative and genuinely care about the guests renting from them. The Bear Den was not only very very clean but super cozy and comfortable, plus you cannot beat the game room! Me and my family did not have a single complaint when staying at the Bear Den and we 100% will be back!

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were amazing—always quick to answer our questions and incredibly thoughtful. They left us a bottle of wine, snacks, and chocolates, and even surprised us with a special gift during our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, coffee, water, butter, and more, which made cooking a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

Great scenery and accomodations!

This property was awesome! The scenery is very verdant with wild life spottings every morning (mainly deer, which we thought was awesome). It's located in a quiet neighborhood so the stay felt cozy and relaxed. No busy city ambience here. The home was great with plenty of space for our party, and the accomodations were awesome. That game room saw plenty of use. The host was also very warm, inviting, and responded in a timely manner to questions we had about our stay. Would love to stay at their properties again in the future if they'd have us!

Perfect Cabin for Ski Trip Weekend!!!

A few of us coworkers’ first get-together ski cabin weekend trip together was made even better by the amenities at this cabin!The place was beautiful and well stocked. One of our friends hurt himself on the first slope down but was able to recover and relax well here!The dogs loved the yard and the hill in the back- they were always whining to be let out and run around outside.Whether sleeping, hanging out or relaxing here we enjoyed every minute and were so impressed! We’ll be sure to let our friends know about this wonderful spot in the poconos by Jack Frost/Big Boulder!

Surpassed ALL expectations.

The Bear's Den was THE best place we ever stayed at. It had every item imaginable to make our stay incredible. The location was perfect, close to so many attractions and restaurants and the decor inside was absolutely adorable. It truly was a home away from home where you only needed to bring your clothes and food, everything else was taken care of. The game room was a huge blessing as we encountered some heavy storms during our stay but had so much fun staying in and playing pool, ping pong and darts. We could not have asked for a better place to spend out summer vacation.

Cozy Cabin in the Poconos

The Bear Den is such a cozy cabin & decorated so tastefully. We loved all of the bear decor! Timea & Brad were wonderful hosts & communicated quickly & thoroughly. They have thought of absolutely every amenity you may need while staying at a vacation property, and it was extremely clean. We loved the game room & had a blast playing all of the games available. They were also so thoughtful with Happy Birthday signs for myself along with wine & chocolates! We definitely recommend a stay at this lovely cabin, and our whole group had an amazing time. Perfect stay

If I could give this place 100 star I would. Our stay was amazing! Everything you can imagine is there waiting for you. Pack your clothes and go. You are greeted with wine and chocolate, treats for our dog and snacks already in the game room. Beds are amazing. Plenty of extra pillows blankets towels anything you need. Hosts are wonderful, very responsive not 1 single complainant. Will definitely be looking into our next stay for the summer. My parents in their seventies even very much enjoyed the game room. Absolutely remarkable!!!!! into another stay for sum imagine is there waiting for.

Cozy and Clean

The Bear Den cabin was the cleanest rental I’ve seen so far - it was spotless. Timea was an amazing host - she reached out well in advance of our booking and then closer to the date to address any questions and go over check-in process, checked in a few times while we were there, and was prompt to answer any questions and address minor issues during our stay. Her thoughtfulness was impressive - she even made sure to provide toys, books, and crafts for our toddler, our daughter was so happy. The cabin is really cute with all the bear decor and nice touches, and feels very cozy and comfortable. The house is nicely furnished and has an amazing newly upgraded game room with tons of activities - we only used table tennis, but there were so many options, from video games to arcade games to air hockey. My husband used the game room as his WFH office, as it has a door and can be isolated from the rest of the house. The pantry and kitchen were well-stocked, and Timea made sure we didn’t run out of anything during our stay (over a month), and was spoiling us with treats too :). The deck is huge, and we used it a lot to hang out and/or grill; the outdoor furniture is nice and comfy. The location is great as well - the house is located in a quiet lake community, a short walk (or even a shorter drive) from one of the lakes/beaches and tennis courts, and close to a few convenience/grocery stores and farmers markets. The beaches were not too busy even during holiday weekends, and are equipped with newer playground sets, much to the excitement of our daughter. Overall, we had a great stay, and would highly recommend the Bear Den to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in Poconos.

Home Away From Home

We absolutely love staying in Timea & Brads home. They treat us like family and welcome us with open arms. They are so accommodating, easy to communicate with, and just all around amazing experience. There are so many little home stores and even great hiking paths. Even if you don’t want to do anything other then enjoy the cabin, they set you up with a bottle of wine, s’more supplies and literally have all the cooking appliances pots pans spices condiments you would ever need. So all you have to do is bring your clothing and your home away from home.
