The Bakery is a unique gem that is worth the trip to Tucson. The attention to detail in every room is superlative and Nancy, who really is the owner as well as the property manager, could teach a Master class in how to welcome and support guests! Truly hope we can make it back again to this great property.

Thank you for your kind words. I must admit I was surprised that you rated the Bakery only “4 stars.” We have over 70 reviews on the various listing sites, and they are ALL “5 stars”... until now! I looked at our texts and emails, and didn’t see any problems mentioned, so I am anxious to find out what we could have done better to earn the excellent rating that we strive for. Please text or email me and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement. We really value feedback from our guests, and many of the improvements we have made to the property over the years is based their input.

Thank you! And I know exactly how Anne feels because that is how I felt when I first saw the Bakery. (My husband took a little longer to get there, because he decided to be the practical one in the relationship.) Thanks for staying, being such wonderful guests, and we hopefully will see you again next year! Sincerely, Nancy & Brad

An Oasis Close to Everything!

Our stay in Tucson was fantastic. Nancy’s attention to detail; her passion about the history and integrity of the property was evident. We loved the ability to walk just about everywhere, with easy street parking when we drove. Our favorite place to unwind after a day of exploring was the courtyard. We’re already planning our next trip!

Very Close to Historic Tucson

We enjoyed our stay. The house is quite eclectic and comfortable. We were steps away from the Turquoise Trail which we wanted to walk. The location is very close to the historic Tucson and a quick tram tide to the University.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you got to do the turquoise trail. And you mentioning it reminded me that I need to put something in the Guidebook about it. It's amazing to see the size of the Presidio Wall nestled up against the huge government buildings and realize that it was the best protection they had only 150 years ago.

It was a pleasure having you and your party at the Bakery. Such great travelers! You fit seamlessly into the eclectic Tucson scene. Joining the local "Dia de Los Muertos" festivities, and even bringing chocolate bars to pass out to our neighbourhood trick or treaters. You are the kind of guests that make hosting fun. I hope you stay in the Bakery again and again.
