Pura Sol-Private HEATED Pool, & Golf Cart - Dog Friendly! WINTER TEXANS WELCOME

Welcome to Pura Sol - Pure sun, pure fun!

This 2014 built stilt home is loaded with amenities!! Relax in the private, heated backyard pool and enjoy corn hole boards, a fooseball table and the charcoal BBQ pit. Park your vehicle and cruise around in the 6 passenger golf cart. Upstairs offers a spacious living room and sleeping for nine. Each room has a TV, with YouTube TV and Roku streaming (Netflix/Disney+, etc.)

October 2025 update: FALL IS HERE... AND WINTER IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. WINTER TEXANS WELCOME! Fall and Winter are our favorite times of the year (less crowds and less heat!) The pool can be heated from November through April, so If there's a cold front, turn on the private heated pool! YOU CONTROL THE TEMPRATURE FOR THE HEATED POOL. We are offering CRAZY FAST internet (200mbps) . The restaurants/beaches are fully open and operational and all is quiet on our little street now with construction around us done!

POOL IS HEATED NOVEMBER-APRIL: however, if you want to heat the pool outside of those dates, not a problem - just know it's a $50/day extra fee.

Expectations - we expect you to have a great time... You should expect some sand in the pool (you are at the beach!), some wear and tear on our golf cart (you are at the beach!) and a clean vacation rental! We are alway around to help you enjoy your stay, so just let us know if can!

We also own the house next door, Pura Playa - so if this home is booked, check out its sister home. Both homes are identicial!

Quiet hours:11pm-8am; Shower before using the pool. Do not leave any pet unattended inside the house. If you leave the dog behind, crate them.
Any damage caused by your pet will forfeit your deposit regardless of trip insurance.

Had a wonderful long winter weekend getaway with my two nephews that we’ll remember forever! The house was great and perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and functional, with everything you could need! The golf cart was a huge plus, making a quick trip to the store feel like an adventure, and driving down the beach was a unique and fantastic time!The private heated pool was an absolute game changer and we were able to spend hours there each day even in fifty degree and colder weather! Was perfect for our trip. 4 adults on vacation. Golf cart was exactly what we needed. Only thing that we didnt like was that the owner showed up unannounced when we were there, seemed awkward and while I undertsand they are the owner, we felt like they infringed on our privacy.

This was a great place to stay! Location was very close to beach, but so glad we had the golf cart! It’s not close enough to walk to beach. The house was clean and large enough for all of us! We took the ferry over as we came fromHouston area! Very close to all shopping and food! Again golf cart came in handy for us! The pool was clean and the outside space was great size for the family! Quiet and comfortable!

Fun Family Weekend

Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. The description online was pretty exact and everything was well appointed and very clean/comfortable. Having the pool and golf cart were a big plus! We had one issue while we were there and the owners were able to help fairly quickly with their response time. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

Hi - I'm Leslie, and with my husband Jeremiah, we recently purchased Pura Sol as our home in Port A. We are 5th generation Texans (I'm from Carrizo Springs, he's from Sterling City), who for the past 20 years have lived in Round Rock.

Our family has been coming to Port A for years - I came when I was a little girl (don't ask the year). When we had our children, we would summer here in a cramped, rusty but awesome travel trailer. We helped clean up our neighbors' homes after Harvey. This town, and the Texas Coast, is our home away from home!

My husband is an avid fisherman and can help you with the hotspots, too! He loves to fish Redfish Bay, Aransas Bay, and all the way down to the Land Cut (he told me to write this).

I love to head down to the beach right at daybreak for some quiet time. In the evenings, at least once per trip, is a a family tradition of "shark in the dark!"

There's nothing better than an evening with those you love while feeling the ocean breeze.

Why they chose this property

This 2014 built stilt home is loaded - pool, bbq pit, corn hole boards, and fooseball on the ground floor, with a spacious living room and sleeping for nine upstairs.

Master bedroom has a king bed with private bath, with the second bedroom having a queen bed. The bunk room has four single beds. Each room has its own smart TV (YouTube TV and the apps). Plenty of room for the entire family and friends!
