Obx

Had a stressful stay due to kids however the amenities f this property and location helped to make it better. Definitely a good house for the price.

Short distance to beach is a plus

Check in was simple and easy, communication was perfect. Great distance to the beach access. Short walk or you can drive and park at the beach access. We had more than enough space for 5 people! Perfect location to shops and restaurants. The hot tub was so clean and they come to clean in the middle of the week, that was so warm on the colder nights we had. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Since the home is dog friendly the basement needs a deep cleaning, however we didn’t stay in the basement just walked through the basement door to keep beach chairs in the garage.

This was the worst house in 30 years I have ever rented as well as the worst service from the host. There was a hypodermic needle in the outside shower, trash on the deck, dirty cushions with dried on spaghetti in the kitchen. The couch was clearly destroyed by dogs but instead of replacing they just threw dirty pillows on it. The outside door would not shut but they did fix that. The kitchen has nasty rusted pans that need to be thrown away. When I complained they offered to reclean but still left the trash and the needle. I asked the head manager to call me. No one did. Truly made for an awful vacation because we felt we couldn’t sit inside on the nasty furniture so we spent little time there. Very unfortunate that no one cared enough to refund even a small amount of money. I would recommend no one rent this house!!

KDH Stay JUNE 2025

The property worked well for family including our two dogs. Close to beach, stores, all appliances were used and they worked well, enough bedrooms to accommodate. Kitchen stocked well as we cooked most meals. Big complaint was house was not cleaned well before arrival. Food wrapper in cabinet, fruit in fridge, a pair of socks, 15 piles of dog manure in various stages of size and age in the yard. We still give four stars as it did not wreck the stay.

Nice Beach Rental

Loved the fenced yard and gated deck for dogs. There was an issue with ants in the kitchen area. It appeared to be addressed with ant traps placed in a few locations, however it was not working. Overall, the house is a great property for families with pets.

Great place to stay with family and friends!

Stayed here for a week with my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and friends (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Plenty of room for us all and we enjoyed it. Would stay here again!
