Whaler #502 - Fifth Floor Direct Ocean/Beach Front Whaler Condo (Sleeps 4-5)
Our condo, Whaler #502, is a two bedroom/two bathroom, ocean front condominium on the fifth floor of the north tower at the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach ... you can stand on the lanai, throw a tennis ball and hit the beach. It is large (1,950 sq. ft. including the lanai, 1,440 sq. ft. interior), can accommodate up to five people and has the following bedding: King bed - master bedroom, Two Queen beds - second bedroom. There is no sofa bed in the living room.
The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach, also sometimes referred to as Aston at the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach, is a luxury beachfront condominium resort located directly on World-Famous Kaanapali Beach, next to Whalers Village Shopping Center, on the West Coast of Maui between Lahaina and Kapalua. The front desk is managed by Aston Hotels and Resorts. Aston also manages/rents about one third of the condos. Other units are rented by owners directly to guests.
Our condo, Whaler #502, features a $150K+ remodel (and we're not done yet), central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer in the condo for guest use (many Whaler condos do not have a washer/dryer inside the condo), three color TVs (Samsung 60" TV in the living room and a Sony 46" TV in each bedroom), a fully equipped kitchen, free high speed cable and wi-fi Internet and more.

This oceanfront condo is spectacular, stunning and just perfect in every way! This place is spacious, clean and very well maintained. You have unobstructed views of the ocean and can watch the beautiful sunset every night from the condo. You are literally steps away from the most beautiful beach, and the Whaler Village is nearby with great restaurants and shops.
This is the best location on Maui! We didn't just stay in Maui for a week, we "LIVED" in Maui for a week! All the comforts of home, but in Paradise!

BEST CONDO AND LOCATION ON MAUI!!!
Our Santa Barbara family stays 2 weeks at this condo every year. We have been vacationing on Maui since the 1970's, know it well, have rented many condos over the years and there is nothing that beats Rick's at The Whaler. Every room has a sweeping ocean view, large spaces for a family, easy parking, ease with groceries up the elevator, gorgeous grounds, pool and Jacuzzi....all directly on the sand. The mattresses and linens are sensational, the kitchen is fully stocked ready for cooking. The condo is on the 5th floor so the views of the water, sunrises and sunsets are unobstructed. The best shops on Maui are steps away at The Whaler Shops, as well as easy walk to many restaurants. Rick is ready to assist with anything we may need. Our 2 year old granddaughter fed the Koi fish in the condo ponds every morning and we all love the many activities nearby. This condo is unbeatable for your next vacation! We have been renting Rick's superb condo, #502, for many, many years and every year we remain impressed with the beauty of the place and how well it is maintained. The location, the view, and the convenience of this lovely condo cannot be surpassed.
Best vacation condo ever!
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely condo! We truly enjoyed our stay and the unit is GORGEOUS... the view is amazing, the condo is perfectly set up for a family vacation and you thought of everything we might need. The beach chairs, cooler and umbrella were wonderful and allowed us to easily enjoy the beach each day. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved being able to enjoy the view from every part of the condo. Check in/out was a very smooth process and Rick was fabulous to communicate with us. We can't wait to come back someday!
What a fabulous place! The condo was spacious, clean, and amazingly well equipped, right down to matches and toothpicks! Saw whales, dolphins, and even large sea turtles from the lanai. The views and sunsets were incredible! Hated to leave and return to Calgary winter.
Fantastic week in the oceanfront unit #502
This was our fourth time staying at the Whaler in Maui. It was, by far, our most positive experience. The reservation process was a breeze with Rick making clear all we needed to know about staying in his condo at the Whaler. When we arrived and looked out the ocean front sliding glass doors it took our breath away. Having a glass of wine and watching the sunset from the patio was spectacular. The condo unit is beautifully decorated with a kitchen that is equipped with everything you might need for cooking a meal. The bedrooms have beds that are very comfortable and there is plenty of space for clothing. Both bathrooms have been renovated and stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Being right next door to Whaler's Village with its restaurants and shops was definitely an advantage. Our stay in unit #502 could not have been more perfect. In the past we have stayed on higher floors at the Whaler but being on the fifth floor, looking out at the ocean was the very best ever. We would strongly recommend booking this condo unit if you are traveling to Maui and looking for a two bedroom accommodation.

Rates are for back-to-back bookings (either arrival or departure date). Higher rates for non back-to-back bookings. Call or email for a quote. Winter & Summer: Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday bookings only. Hawaii Tax (14.42%), $325.00 Cleaning Fee (check-in and check-out cleaning -- no daily housekeeping) and $20.84/night resort fee are additional. Add $75/night: July 23-August 14, 2018. Add $700 for booking that includes any part of the period between July 2-10, 2018. Add $700 for a booking that includes any part of the period between November 18-25, 2018. Check-out: 11:00 AM. Check-in: 4:00 PM. Higher rates for shorter stays & non back-to-back bookings may be available -- please ask. Discount may be available for stays >14 nights or last minute booking. Holiday Season: 14-21 night minimum stay over the Holiday season (depending on arrival date). $1,095/night rate is for a December 15, 2018 arrival date only. Higher rates for later arrival dates -- add $65/night for each arrival day after December 15, 2018 (approximate). We trade leads with other Whaler owners, if our condo is booked, so please ask.
