Beach Bungalow With Pool, Walking Distance to Beach

Welcome to the Beach Chair Bungalow!! This well kept three bedroom/two bath home features a pool (Non-Heated), screen porch, full kitchen, washer/dryer, master bedroom with private bath and comes fully stocked including kitchen ware, a gas grill, comforters, linens, starter toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent) and towels. The home is cleaned thoroughly between each guest, has comfortable furniture, and has top notch finishes throughout. In addition to the large bed in each room there is also a pull out sofa in the sun room.
Enjoy a short walk to the beach, rent a golf cart and load up your beach gear, or just hangout at the pool for a lazy day! The Beach Chair Bungalow is near the center of Isle of Palms where you can find a grocery store, gas station, restaurants, shops, the Isle of Palms rec center, the Isle of Palms County Park, and beach bars.
Isle of Palms is approximately 25 minutes away from downtown Charleston which is famous for its shopping and history, particularly on King and Market Street. Isle of Palms has year round activities including kayaking, award winning golf courses, paddleboarding, and more. The Beach Chair Bungalow is managed by a local vacation rental company on Isle of Palms that has been giving guests the best vacation rentals for over 10 years. Our company prides itself on making guests feel at home and comfortable while on vacation. For additional information or specific questions, please put in an inquiry for your desired dates.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

Great place to stay with easy access to the beach. There were some parts of the house that needed an extra clean because of dust (i.e. the fans and the walls). Had a great pool that we didn't get to really use due to the rain we experienced.

The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach and town amenities. House was as advertised. Clean with Large bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen and great spaces for hanging out. Pool was clean and a great size for a quick swim after being at the beach. Only one complaint, when we arrived to the house at night, the light to the locked “storage room” (which room had outside and inside access) was on but was turned off while we were out the following day. We felt like someone was at the house when we weren’t there. It just made us feel a little uneasy.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was clean and well-maintained. The pool was an added bonus and was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The house itself was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great trip.

We loved the house and easy access to the beach! The kids loved having their own rooms. I would recommend this house it was very clean. The pool was nice but I thought it was deeper than it was it’s only 5ft. I would recommend this house for location and very nice neighborhood and cleanliness.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beach house on a nice quiet street. There was plenty of space for our family of four to spread out. Beach is a 5 minute walk away but we also rented bikes to get around. The pool was nice to have as a break from the beach. The bathrooms are nicely updated, house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Pool guy stopped by for the weekly maintenance but was in and out in 15 minutes and was not a bother.

Although some places seemed to have had upgrades…. The house is very musky. There were moths coming out of the bathroom vents in addition there was mold on the sealing. The frame in the master bedroom was coming off. The windows were taped shut in some areas. The floors are uneven. Definitely not worth the money per night.

Owner communicated instructions well and everything was as described. The house was nice with plenty of room. All appliances worked properly (didn't use toasters or oven), however the grill could use updating. The only malfunction was getting hot water to the jacuzzi- got hot, then didn't.. idk. The pool had a (musty?) smell, but looked and felt clean. It was cool during our stay, but we enjoyed it. The wife and I enjoyed the front porch most - having a few late nite drinks and watching the summer storms roll thru with plenty of noise from a plethora of animals who were clearly unaware of the 10pm noise ordinance. The beach was the best part. A five minutes walk at midnight to see speedster crabs and storms over the ocean will be a great memory. And then plenty of easy parking for long days on the beach. We had a blast there. BUT I would highly recommend booking a golf cart when you book as every rental place was sold out, and you could ride those to the store, boulevard and beach.... The neighbors were very quiet and disinterested, so we weren't bothered at any point by anyone. All N all it was a great vacation! I would recommend this place to anyone. (Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of photos without people in them...)

Annual Vacation

This was our second stay. We visit IOP every year for our family vacation. This has quickly become our favorite place to stay. A wonderful location, walking distance to beach, quite neighborhood, privacy and easy access to restaurants and groceries. Highly recommended to all. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay

Great place to stay!

My family and I stayed here for a week. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place!

Great family friendly house

Great location and enjoyed the pool! Most of the house was clean and well maintained. The back porch is in need of some love as it is mildewy and detracts from the rest of the house. Also, very few blankets and precisely enough bath towels (no extras), and no pool towels. Other than that, house was clean and very comfortable. We had a mix of rainy days and sunny days and the house had plenty of space And amenities to accommodate the group in any weather. Great selection of games and puzzles. Well stocked kitchen and many seating areas. The property manager was also responsive to all our questions.

Great location for IOP SC

This place was a great place to stay, ver cute, clean, and great location to visit beach and Charleston. The pool was nice. The only thing the kitchen could use a new frying pan or too. Hard to cook on the one that’s there. Maybe the owner did know that. But I would go back.
Beach 15 minute walk.
