Excellent House and Great place to snowbird

We had a great time snowbirding in this area. The house was well taken care of and had everything we needed. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Close to many stores and a short drive to the beach. You won’t be disappointed in this house.

Winter get away

House is in a nice quiet neighborhood and looks as described on the website. Is close to many restaurants and shopping and the beach is a 15 minute drive. We had an issue with the electrical outlets in the master bathroom not working and contacted the owner the day after arrival. Talked to Al several times and the issue was never fixed during our month in the house.

This is was resolved by the electrician, the reset breaker was the GFI outlet on the outside of the home. (Weird place for a GFI the electrician said, but it happens) Thanks again for pointing that out

Lacked the host's touch

Overall it was a good experience. Since we stayed for two months, we missed a few basic kitchen tools so we went out and bought them ... and left them there. A week before we left, we received a strong knock on the front door. The guy asked for the owner and said that he had papers in hand to begin foreclosure. He said that he hoped that we weren't long term renters. I told him we were leaving the next week. So ... a warning.

This home does not disappoint. Its' location is central to the area's attractions and beaches. A lovely setting in a quiet& safe neighborhood of respectful folks. The house has an open design filled with light and tastefully decorated. The well-appointed spaces both inside&out are welcoming for any size group.

Great stay in West Melbourne -

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Oak Grove home. The home is spacious and airy with plenty of light in the common areas. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walks. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The days were hot, but the screened-in porch was inviting at any time of the day. With family in the area, we only prepared breakfast at the house and cannot comment much about the kitchen. The TV is high quality (we took our own Apple TV) as is the Wi-Fi. Grocery stores and other shopping areas are close by. Since we visited during the pandemic, our activities were limited. We never ate out, but we visited several nature places. A few times we drove to Melbourne Beach very early in the day looking for turtles and to walk on the beach. Melbourne Beach was sparsely populated every time. We visited Merritt Island searching for manatees and did the trails at Turkey Creek Sanctuary (Palm Bay). We plan to return and, hopefully, have a repeat stay at this home.
