The room was clean and spacious and i was given full access to shower, kitchen and laundry. My only complaint is it was abit of a walk to public transport but everything else was wonderful
A nice and familiar place to explore and experience the city and more. Easy to reach from Luas in about 15 minutes. Many thanks for the wonderful time we had staying with you.
Extremely difficult to say arrived in the dark left at dawn renovation work in progress

Louise booked our private room for only herself but thought it was a separate flat from the main house which it was not. When she realised it, I offered her a refund but she refused and still processed to come to stay. I informed her that our landing and stairs were covered in plastic protective sheets as we were preparing for painting them, the rest of the house (bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were clean and fully functional) which she seemed fine with it. She came in with her partner (but booked for only one person) 1.5 hours past check in time which i patiently waited. When she arrived, i offered her some food and drink as she said she hadnt had anything since the morning. However, the next morning she left our house without locking the door and drop our key just outside our front door (which showed how inconsiderate she was to the safety and security of the host’s house) and without telling us that she was leaving. Then later i got a communication from VBRO that she complained to them that our toilet and our shower didnot working, which was untrue. We sent immediately a video back to vbro showing them that our bathroom was fully working. Hence, the guest couldnt get her refund back and hence her very disappointing review
The room was comfy, clean and nice. The hosts were friendly, helpful and made good suggestions for our meals and transportation to various venues. I think this might be a challenge for most people who are over 70 and not particularly fit. Perhaps listing should mention that this includes a second floor stairway and transit to city requires a good walk.(the description of walk from the tram to the residence was 8 minutes - my husband and I are both over 75 and with luggage it took us over 30 minutes walk after a long travel day. Nonetheless Ngoc and Gordon are great hosts and with their 2 year old son Everett made us feel like family or close friends.

Thanks for your review. We noted that extra information about the stair is needed thanks for the advice. We remember that you said you got lost yourself on the way here thats why it took you that long (30 mins) to find your way here. The distance from home to tram is actually 10-12 mins (8 mins is from home to bus stop).

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Location
- cold encounters with owners (no idea why, it was weird)- small house with multiple rented rooms- not allowed to flush toilet paper (place in trash bin, gross)- so organized that the owner restocked the dishes after I took them out of the dishwasher.- I left my sewing kit in the bedroom. I went to collect it days later, after scheduling my arrival. She wasn't there. Now she agreed to send me a sewing stuff (fits inside a business envelope) at the end of august (four weeks later) and charging me 2 euro. Not a comfortable place. (she -did- drive me to the Luas train when I was leaving.)

When Belen checked in, our toilet downstair was leaking water so my husband received her. I actually came out to say hi at one point and explained that we were having an unexpectedly emergency repair at that time. When she checked out with multiple luggages, I have offered to drop her to the tram, but I ended up staying with her over an hour waiting for her to sort out her car rental. My husband was worried that i had left for too long so he called her to ask about me (I didnot bring my phone as i thought it was a quick 5 min drop off) but she rudely abrupt the call and never told me that he was looking for me (I was with her all the time). Belen also expressed that she would want stay longer than the original dates and asked us to keep the dates for her, but then she changed her mind but never communicated to us (which i think is very selfish and poor communication).
Also, we are not responsible for anything guests have left behind, especially when they only contacted us about their forgotten stuff almost 2 weeks after their checkout. Belen sent me a text at 11.58 pm saying shes collecting her stuff “tomorrow”, such a short notice. When i read it the next morning i thought she meant the next day so obviously i wasnt there. Then she demanded me to post stuff to her (which isnt my responsibility) at my own cost. Postage stamp is 1.65€ plus envelop and my personal time - 2€ is too cheap for it! And I have my holidays and stuff to do too (told her already).
