Renovated for 2021 season. Cute two bedroom 1 bath cottage with unobstructed ocean views in beautiful Matunuck, Rhode Island. Short walk to the South Kingstown Town Beach as house sits across the street to the scenic beach path through protected farmland. Wonderful family beach with playground. Kitchen and living area completely renovated in 2021 with new floors & all new appliances. Perfect for a small family wanting a beach vacation. Nearby is Vanilla Bean ice cream, Matunuck Oyster Bar, Ocean Mist beach bar, Matunuck Surf Shop, historic Theatre by the Sea, Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, Daddy's Bread, and much more! Other area attractions include Watch Hill (20 miles), Newport (23 miles), University of RI (9 miles), Foxwoods Casino (30 miles) , Mohegan Sun Casino (40 miles)

Lovely home and great location for a week at the beach! Home had everything we needed and was clean and updated. Short walk to the beach and playground was great for our kids. Daily morning yoga classes on the beach were an unexpected bonus!

Wonderful summer vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the house for a week this past summer. We loved all the beach times like chairs and towels included with the house. It was the perfect size for a couple out small family. Lovely view from the back porch of the ocean. Short walk to the beach. Great house and well equipped. Washer and dryer were brand new and very handy.

Wonderful spot

Great for our family of four. Cute little house with an updated kitchen and included all the cooking essentials like spices, oils, pots, pans, etc. The deck and view of the beach through the meadow is perfect. Easy walk to the Seaview market for any necessities. Ice cream down the street and chill beachside restaurants. We took day trips to Newport and Block Island. The host was very communicative.

Must return!

Glorious weather in April really was fortunate- plus the new kitchen and bathroom, everything looking out at the ocean…you can hear waves crashing from the property. And it’s so private. What a gem. Walk to town beach. Wifi is great for work.

Just what we needed

Host was amazing and very easy to get a hold of, as well as super accommodating. House is right across the street from ocean, with a short 5 minute walk through a field. Kitchen had all necessary pots, pans, utensils, etc. Laundry was conveniently located in the bathroom, and ac unit was sufficient for entire house. Beautiful breeze throughout with numerous windows, and very friendly neighbors. Thank you again Erin!

Lovely return visit

My family and I spent a wonderful week at Erin's house. This was our second year in a row. It's perfect for a small family and really has everything you need from washer/dryer to a cupcake tin, which I needed for a special birthday celebration. We ate on the deck as much a possible and enjoyed the view out to Block Island. We just had such a relaxing week, cannot recommend our stay enough!

This vacation home was perfect for my husband and I. It was easily accessible to various activities such as touring the Mansions in Newport, walking the neighborhood surrounding this home, as well as local restaurants serving fresh seafood. Our stay was short but very enjoyable!

Beautiful location

I stayed here with my husband and 2 small kids for our April vacation. This house was so clean and communication with the owner was awesome… Erin is so lovely and accommodating. The location was AMAZING!! We took walks to the beach and the kids enjoyed the play area/swing set right on the beach. We also enjoyed walks to the nearby market and farm. We’ll definitely book this home again.

Relaxing Staycation

I needed a place to visit with family members in Rhode Island while I live close by in MA. Having a place to visit where no one has to change their family plans to have a get-together was perfect for me. The place has everything you need to stay in or go out. Near to the beach but not far from restaurants and shopping. Lots of sunlight and windows with a view of the ocean. and a short walk (5 minutes?) gets you to the beach. My family and I love walking on the beach no matter what time of year and what the weather is like. Strongly recommend this property. Megan

Very special place

We stayed at Erin’s beach house for a week with our two young sons. It was a family paradise! The beach was perfectly close and worked well when littles wanted to leave early for a nap. The neighborhood was adorable and all the neighbors so friendly. Watching the farmers plow and bail the field across the road was an added highlight for the boys. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you could need. Erin was very responsive throughout our stay. The new deck was lovely and watching the waves from it was serene. We can’t wait to go back!

Lovely view and ocean breezes!

We really loved the cottage: clean, comfortable and perfectly suited for our long weekend of cooking, eating and hanging out on the deck between trips to the beach. We especially appreciated the simple and uncluttered decor, free of the cutesy "nautical" knickknacks and craft fair "art" often encountered in beach rentals. Very relaxing! Erin was an excellent communicator, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Best of the beach and the country

This bright cheery cottage offers ocean views and a walk to the beach through farm fields, so there's lots of big open skies and open space - something that's hard to find in beach communities. It's clean and comfortable, and the owner responds quickly and was very accommodating. If you're light-starved where you live, you will love this house's south-facing windows. Very much hoping to come back for a longer stay!

I also have another rental property nearby that has been listed through Homeaway for the past 10 rental seasons. My goal is to equip each home with amenities that will make your rental as relaxing and enjoyable as possible with cleanliness being a top priority. I have another home nearby so am available if guests have questions or need any last minute items.
