Lovely house, great trip!

We had a great trip of several friend couples. We love Pawley's and this was a perfect spot. The house was lovely and comfortable. The decor is so nice too. Loved the porch view of the ocean and especially the porch swing. The creek dock for evening sunsets was perfect as well.

Nice location

The house isn't brand new, but comfy and cozy. Excellent location! The only thing I didn't like was going outside to go up/down floors.

Perfect Stay for Extended Family Trip

The Beach House is a wonderful property in a perfect community. The beds are very comfy, showers had good water pressure, and everyone in our extended family had a great time here during our stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch listening to the ocean, rocking in the chairs, and napping on the swing. Pawley’s Island is a great community and we felt very safe the entire time we were there. Highly recommend this place and we will be back next time we are in town.

A Most Wonderful Week

Perfect home for our family beach week. Such good vibes. Comfortable beds. Fabulous porch. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to shopping and dining. We loved every second and didn’t want to come home! Can hardly wait until we can go back!

Fun family vacation

We have stayed at The Beach House for the past 4 years and enjoy ourselves every time. Each year, the kids have returned to their favorite activities- beachcombing, fishing, paddling - and added new ones, like bocce ball and surfing. The Beach House is an ideal setting with beach and creek access, easily accommodates our big family, and has everything we need. We’ve seen improvements made year after year, and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The Beach House was just what we needed

What a great, classic Pawley's Island home! I visited with family and we had such a relaxing time. We visit Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park every year, and this location of this home is just 10 minutes or so away from both. The homeowners were very prompt with communications, and we didn't have any surprises with booking or cost. Overall, a great time was had by all. :-)

Wonderful!

My family and I highly recommend this beach house on the beautiful Pawleys Island. It is a welcoming, tastefully decorated, and very clean home. It is just a walk over the dunes to be on the beach and from the top porch you can see the ocean. We are definitely returning to make more wonderful memories. Bill and Martha Lynn are great communicators and want to make your stay enjoyable.

Perfect old Pawleys Beach House

This is such a great house! It has a wonderful old Pawleys vibe, but also excellent, updated features, such as the bathrooms. We spent a lot of time on the deep, shaded, ocean-facing porch, having coffee or cocktails. The kitchen is well equipped, and one night we cooked grouper on the grill. I love the short walk through the dunes out to the beach. It was a wonderful week with our family and we liked the house so much we reserved it for next year!

Making memories

Our stay at the Beach house is always fantastic. Love the quaint house with wonderful porch and patio for gathering together for Chats and games. Right over the little dune to the beautiful beach. Finding one of a kind Pawleys Island shells on the North end. And so much more. Makes for a week of memories our family will never forget. Our favorite place to stay.

We Always Wish We Could Stay Longer

What a wonderful week with our two children, their spouses, and our two precious grandchildren at The Beach House. Everybody enjoyed spending time on the beach, sitting on the porch, playing games, and eating way too much. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals inside, and we enjoyed the grill outside. We’ve already booked our week for 2024. Our little grandson felt so at home that he cried when he realized it was time to head back home.

A wonderful house for all generations

This is one of the last real beach houses at Pawleys and is in a great location near the North Inlet with a great shaded front porch and side porch and patio- a very private spot. The owners are very nice and helpful. It is a great house for multi generations. You can see the water from the porch and it is just a couple of 100 yards over the dunes to the water with its own path to the beach with an enclosed outdoor shower and a new patio with a grill. Although or because it is rustic this is a real find. They also have an excellent washer and dryer.

Everything you need and an epic location

First time to Pawley's for me and my wife and am so glad we lucked out with this house. Sitting on the porch, listening to the ocean, shaded by the trees; the outside world was easy to shake. The house had everything you could need and then some. Our hosts were very communicative, easy to reach, and made sure we had everything we needed. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Solid WIFI and creature comforts. On the beach. I could have stayed another week. Will definitely book this house again.

The Real Beach House experience

Our group has stayed at The Beach House for almost a decade. We love it because it takes us back to our memories of being at Pawleys over the years. It’s wide front porch and multiple rocking chairs set the perfect scene for reading, talking. The new Bathrooms come with towels, and we love the upgrade to a lovely large shower. House good for multiple family and friends with 2 bedrooms up and 2 down. It’s a little bit new for us and a little bit old Pawleys. Outside shower, barbecue area, shady seating for first floor. Plenty of chairs to use for ocean sitting. (Just FYI, Upstairs porch railing not for small children.)

Ocean/Creek Stay

The house is perfect for our family. The grandparents and the couple with no kids stayed upstairs while the 2 families with 2 younger kids stayed downstairs. The downstairs living area is perfect for the kids with the parents in the bedrooms. The location is great for us. It’s as ocean front as you can get with a creek dock on the north end of the island. We are a split family. Half would stay on the beach all day everyday and half would stay in the boat fishing all day every day. This gives us the best of both worlds. The walk over the dunes to the beach isn't bad. It’s way better than the public access points to the north and a little harder than the ones to the south. You are close enough if you time the tides you can leave your stuff on the beach walk back to the house for lunch and come back in the afternoon. I’ve stayed at Pawleys 2-3 weeks a summer every year for going on 40 years since I was 8 months old. This house is right at the top of the places I have stayed for sure.

Girls Birthday Get Away

We wanted a nostalgic beach vacay to celebrate two birthdays among the ladies in the family. We were able to walk down memory lane in this tastefully decorated beach home. This area holds many memories for our family and the setting ,location and interior design of the home brought all those memories flooding back to us. We were able to enjoy good food,wonderful time on the beach and the Brookgreen gardens while we visited Pawleys Island. In the evening, we enjoyed streaming some movies. E erything we needed was provided in this home away from home environment. We felt safe and the owners were easy to communicate with when we had a few questions. We hope to return again

Charming and lovely old Pawleys island home located on the northern part of the island where beaches are particularly beautiful. Lots of chairs, kayaks, boogie boards- everything you’d need for beach and creek.

Long weekend get away

My family of 4 and my brother's family of 3 brought our mom and dad for a 75th birthday gift to our mom. This house is everything about Pawley's Island that my mom loves. Arrogantly shabby, an island original, will transport you back to the days of rustic beach houses. The tounge and groove paneling, wood floors, porch, rockers, swing, hammock and slamming wooden screen doors are a dream for the Pawley's purist! The house was clean and comfortable and the hosts made you feel like old friends!

Great Place and Great Memories Made

This was a family vacation so there was eleven of us. We had plenty of room and the beds were great! We loved the the beach house which we referred to as (The Farmhouse Beach House). We cooked most of our meals there at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with very thing you needed to cook with. Stores are a very short distance away to get what is needed to cook. The guys in the family loved fishing at the dock across the street. We all enjoyed seeing the different kinds of fish they were catching. Of course they released them, but it was fun to look at the variety they were bring in. Some even barked at you! The beach is beautiful! I loved walking them and when the tide was going out the tide pools had a lot of wonderful creatures to look at. We saw star fish, crab, little fish, and many other amazing sea creatures. If you like nature you will love this place. We all loved having our coffee in the morning out on the porch and sitting out there in the evening talking. We really enjoyed ourselves and made great memories. Thanks so much the entire family had a great time!

This is a family beach house that has been in the family since 1947. Our family loves the rustic feel to the house and its shabbiness.

One of only a few homes on Pawleys that is oceanfront and has access to the creek! We have a great fishing dock, with seating and a floating dock.
