AMENITIES: Our condos cluster around the Town Center, which hosts special events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends. Nearby resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes, fishing dock, fire pits, fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, and a pirate ship playscape! Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria.

This beautiful luxury condo featuring upscale furnishings with a designer’s touch. Enjoy this gorgeous breezy beach retreat while having wonderful unique experiences and making lifelong friends and memories. This condo offers a roomy layout and features beautiful 2 story cathedral ceilings. Two king masters downstairs, a private queen room upstairs, a large built-in bunk station (2 twins over 2 doubles with 2 double trundles- sleeps 10). Enjoy a gourmet inspired “dream kitchen” and 3 outdoor viewing decks. Two independent entertainment areas give kids and adults thankful flexibility and privacy. Both living areas feature 60” flat screen TV’s with a DVD player. Upstairs living area features Xbox 360 and Kinects for gaming and a little fun competition.

Nice Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family including my mother in law stayed in the Water's Edge Retreat and had a very enjoyable time. It is well decorated and comfortable. The living room was spacious so that all five adults could sit and enjoy visiting. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the condo had a nice view of the lake and several porches which was a real plus. I would recommend this condo to anyone and especially to anyone who is looking for the main living area to be on the first floor.

Off season stay

Wonderful place to stay. The only things keeping it from a perfect score, the home was relatively clean, we found bits of hair a few places. One of the reasons we chose this home was the advertised DVD collection and XBox. We were only able to find 2 DVDs and no XBox games. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The high ceilings, 3 bedrooms PLUS a bunk room made for lots of room to move around in and not feel crowded. There were a couple of maintenance issues but they were taken care of the same day that we pointed them out. Very limited on towels and comfortable pillows - that would be my recommendation to bring with you.

Reviewer Comments: great location, with lots of room. missed having smart tv's in the bedrooms - the ones in there were not practical at all. the living room tv was frustrating in that we could not figure out how to get it to work, but called CS MGMT and they came over within a reasonable time to help us with it. leaving some type of instructions with the only tv in the place to watch our football games or live tv on would have been helpful.

Cinnamon Shore has lost its Charm!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always look forward to our annual family vacation to Port A. This year the beaches were beautiful and the water was so clear. We had some maintenance issues with the kitchen and bathroom plumbing, but the two gentleman who fixed the problems were great. We did not enjoy our stay. The townhome was in need of a face lift. Doors to outside need painting and were filthy, weather stripping was gouged and ripped, interior needs paint, mold in the showers, and worn furniture. The curb appeal at Cinnamon Shore used to be charming and peaceful. The developers have overbuilt on the north side. Pools were so crowded all day every day and were dirty. Golf carts have taken over the once charming neotraditional neighborhood. Very few were walking to the beach. Golf cart drivers sped through the alley ways. If we ever stay here again it will be during the off season in a house. We noticed when we left that signs had been placed on all doors in our townhome unit warning families that occupancy was limited to 14. Our unit could not comfortably house 14! Too many people are cramming into the residences and there is no where to park because of the cart overflow.

Nice community but the property itself was misleading.

When we rented this property we thought we were renting a house. The photos make it appear like that. It is a two story condo that is a part of an apartment complex. The home itself is nice for a family with kids but you have to go down an elevator or 3 flights of stairs to go outside. The first day there was frustrating because it lacked basic essentials like enough towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. They give you one pack of dishwasher detergent and very flimsy trash bags with super basic bathroom essentials. This would not have been an issue if we were made aware of it. We rented the place for 4 nights, 5 days which meant we needed to go buy shampoo and soap and other essentials. There was no mention of this in the listing. If we would have been made aware we would have brought these items with us and saved us a bunch of time. We spent the first morning shopping and setting up the house. Not how I wanted to spend vacation time. Lastly the dishwasher broke 2 separate times and they needed to send the maintenance man which is challenging with a family of 10. The property/community is nice, the lawn is fun for the kids and the gulf carts make going to the beach a breeze. The beach itself is pretty gross. Lots of trash and micro plastic everywhere. We had to walk through a line of garage to enter the water. One of the days a very old shoe washed ashore that had barnacles growing from it. I guess there is not a beach clean up crew in Texas. Overall the kids really enjoyed it (ages 4-7) and the pizza restaurant was delicious. It was a nice memory for the kids but not a destination my husband and I would go to for a romantic getaway.

Three generation family getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Cinnamon Shore and our first time in one of the condos. This two-story condo was on the third and fourth floor of Two Town Center. There is an elevator to the third floor, but we took the stairs most of the time due to the slowness of the elevator. The kitchen was well equipped, although the refrigerator’s ice maker did not work properly. It only made about 10 cubes per day. We put the 12 cup Cuisinart coffee maker to good use each morning.There was adequate sleeping space for our extended family of five adults and five children. The four younger children enjoyed the bunk room which had a large flat screen tv and gaming equipment. Our teenager preferred to sleep downstairs on the sofa.A drawback was the lack of closets and dressers. The master bedroom closet was locked so there was no place for the occupants of that room to hang their clothes. Additionally, there were no dressers with drawers in any of the bedrooms. The lack of closets extended to the upstairs queen bedroom and kids bunkroom. The only closet in the house was in the second king bedroom. The reserved parking allocation is two tandem spaces, and there is adequate additional parking nearby. A plus was the proximity to Dylan’s Pizzeria, a favorite of the entire family.

Coming Back

What a wonderful family time. Beach and pool time with the kids and grandkids. Riding in the carts along the beach and into town. Fishing, walks, coffee and pizza just around the corner and a ton of great memories. Lots of room in the condo and allowed everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the time together. Looks just like the pictures . We were talking about coming back the first night we were there.

We slept fine just think owner might want to replace. Only one bath upstairs for area sleeping 6 to 8 people leaves something to be desired. Otherwise it was a great stay. Only minutes to beach walk. Close to restaurant and pizza place and the Market where I walked everyday...they have grocery items. Fun to sit on balcony and watch activity on Social Circle.

Reviewer Comments: weather was nice the place was clean but challenging on the dishwasher and fire alarmcalled on dishwasher 3 times but it was never fixed so we had to do dishes for 16 people every meal,.{Wed. to Sun am} HAD TO call twice on pack n play an highchair as it was reserved ahead of time.Fire alarm went off at 1:45 am Sun morning the entire place was awake, baby not happy ,it was in the loft room up way to high to pull the battery walked out side the building to be sure no fire was in any part of it after an hour of searching and a call to emergency we went back to bed , at 6;20 am it goes off again so that was an early pack up to leave. needed a few more towels in kitchen due to all the extra drying of dishes
