Casa de Navarro - Meredith Lodging

Climb the stairs to this upper-level oceanfront condo and you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Pacific. Perched on a cliff down a quiet side street in south Lincoln City, Casa de Navarro is next to a public beach access with lots of cement stairs down to a gorgeous driftwood-strewn beach with dune grass that gives way to flat, gleaming sand in both directions. Walk north up the beach to enjoy a meal at Fathoms, the 10th-floor restaurant at the Inn at Spanish Head, or south to the Taft District’s restaurants, shops, crabbing, and glass-blowing.

You can relax in the west-facing living room, with its flat-screen TV, or go out on the large deck and watch the sunset over the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen and ocean-view dining room make eating in easy; a grill on the deck further expands the menu.

You will find a split king in bedroom one, the King bed has a Luxury Sleep Mor Mattress that is controlled via remote control to adjust the height, angle, and depth of the bed, without disturbing your partners side of the bed.
Bedroom two has a twin over twin bunk bed and queen bed with plenty of room to spare.

Your location means all the activities of Lincoln City are close and convenient; you’re also a half-hour from the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Historic Bayfront in Newport. Casa de Navarro will fill your eyes with panoramic ocean vistas—try a stay and rejuvenate your spirit!

Great location and view of the beach. East beach access although there are lots of stairs to get down. Management communicative and helpful.

Unbeatable view and location

The vuew and location were amazing! The beds and pillows were not comfortable but everything else was great. One of the stove burners was not working and the sliding door needed oil but otherwise, it was great. Just cant beat the view and everything else was really good.

This was a cozy spot with a spectacular view. The furnishings were dated, which didn't bother us, but the price was far too high for the condition, in our opinion.

The weather was beautiful The stove burners did not all work which was hard to cook with the large burger out The check in was delayed by 2 hours which was also inconvenient because we had to go to Safeway to use the restroom

Basic Accommodations

This property will service as a basic accommodation but not at all any kind of luxury or high end. View was nice, but no patio furniture or anything to sit on outside. Window coverings were jacked up and did not function well. Overall, if you are looking for a basic place to stay with little amenities, then it works, but if you are looking for a nice family vacation and a special place to stay, I would not put this condo in that category.

The view is amazing!

This property is on a bluff directly overlooking the ocean, just south of The Inn at Spanish Head. The property has quite a bit of deferred maintenance and the double bed in the room that sleeps four is 'unsleepable', only the sliding glass door and the window in the main bedroom open, the rest are inoperable. There is no deck furniture and the glass railing on it desperately needs cleaning. With respect to décor, the pictures on the wall are really faded and hung strangely high. I was not sure I would be able to get out of the full bath because the handle is in such poor repair. With a little love, this place would be great. There is a third bedroom with a single, hospital style bed in it. At this price point, I expected more. Also, a warning - "lots of steps" means 74 steps down to the beach.

Pictures are decieving

Upon arrival someone was parked in my allocated space. When I called Meredith, the rental company they told me to call the police or towing company. That seemed extreme and not possible on private property. It turned out the vehicle belonged to the people that lived full time in the property downstairs. The lights were out outside which he said had been that way for months. The fireplace didn't work, which they told me about upfront. Heat didn't work, the parking lot was an uneven grade and very dangerous and the window shade to one of the windows that view the ocean didn't go up.

The location is great with a nice view. The house is pretty rough. Broken blinds throughout the rental, squeaky terrible beds in both guest and master bedrooms. So many things in this place need updated or replaced for the cost we paid it was not worth it. By far the worst vrbo rental we have ever had. But it is what it is. Still made the best of our vacation. Would not recommend nor rent this unit again.

Reviews are clearly false

We left after staying only 12 hrs. This was the worst rental I have done on VRBO. We were so disappointed and disgusted that we rented a hotel for the remainder of our stay. The reviews are clearly fake. The beds are awful. ALL the blinds are broken. The condo is filthy hair and gross everywhere. We had a 1 year with us and would not even let him down. The only thing that was good was the view.

Great view and location!

We wanted a place we could walk to the beach and this was it! Beach access right next door and an AMAZING view of the beach, we brought binoculars and my wife even saw a whale! Strip of lawn by the beach access was great for the dog.

We had a great get away at the casa. The view couldn’t get any better. The pictures don’t do it’s justice, the house was beautiful.

Excellent view

The property had excellent views and access to the beach is right next to the house. A complaint I have is that the beds are not comfortable and squeaked when you move especially in the guest room.

On the beach

Excellent location. On the beautiful beach and adjacent to city staircase to ocean. Please put felt on bottom of dining room chairs, lubricate squeaky beds, and provide sharp knives, full size baking sheets and cutting boards, and decent tea towels. It would be nice to have salt and pepper included. Comfortable space for 6 and location can’t be beat!!!
