Sun Ray 3B is a great 1 Bedroom / 1 Full Bathroom condo centrally located on the gulf side of the island and close to everything. This recently remodeled condo on the third floor of the Sun Ray 6-plex, has a Master Bedroom with a Queen size bed, one bunk bed in the extra wide hallway and a Full size sleeper sofa in the living room, which can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The condo has A/C, two streaming TVs, fast internet with WiFi, and a kitchen equipped with Stainless Steel appliances, granite counters and cooking needs such as dishes, utensils, microwave, coffeemaker, blender and toaster. The dining area sits 4 and for your convenience it has a washer/dryer combo in the unit. The location of the building is very convenient by having lots of amenities within walking distance.
This pet friendly unit is ideal for families and families with children, romantic weekends, BFF girls vacations, fishing trips, business trips, winter Texans and Spring Breakers (Notes: Responsible person must be 25 years old or older and a staying guest during the rental period. For Spring Break and Easter week rentals there are additional requirements which includes additional refundable deposits – Minimum age requirement is 21 to rent during these two seasons – Approved pets require a non-refundable one-time pet fee per pet/stay - 2 pets max).
There is one (1) assigned parking spot per unit. The back patio has a portable charcoal grill available for guests. NO POOL, but a very SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH.
Please note there is a hotel with a bar on the other side of the back fence, and it may have live music or a DJ.

We have stayed in hotels and other condos during our six years coming to SPI but this is the best one yet. The condo was clean and great location. Host was on top of everything. Will be back for sure!

Not great
Although listed as recently renovated, not so much. It was dingy and run down. Kitchen appliances seemed new, that's it. Floors, baseboards, bathroom vanity were worn out and grungy. Wood was like unfinished plywood. And the beds are not comfortable. Main bed had springs poking you and really squeaky. Bunk beds not for adults. Had to pad the mattress with extra bedspread and blankets to be adequate. What is supplied in kitchen and bathroom is bare minimum! Bring coffee filters, bath/shower supplies, extra t.p., paper towels, etc.
Most redeeming quality was location, couple of blocks from beach access and close to Cafe on the Beach, which we loved. I think you can get nicer, more updated, cleaner accommodations for the money.

I am disheartened to see this review since we certainly aim not to mislead anyone. The location is awesome as noted in the review! The condo was fully remodeled in late 2019. Bunk bed mattress are regular twin size and new in 2022. Every guest gets a starter kit as noted in the listing (with exact details as to what it contains) and a recommendation to bring additional supplies and personal toiletries. I am disappointed to see this retaliatory review. We are always updating and upkeeping this condo, which we own since 2019. We are local and just a quick phone call away if you need us.

It's walking distance to the beach, which my wife and I enjoy it very much. It is also very close to some good restaurants such as The Palms, PadreRita Grill and Black Beards and to the local supermarket, the Blue Marlin
