The perfect house for 1 or 2 families, or 3 couples or a romantic get away for two!! With 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms - we are bound to be able to comfortably accommodate your group for a wonderful KI holiday.

Expect to see wallabies for a night feed close to the deck! Also kangaroos can be seen on the property - I saw one early in the morning from the lounge room window! To feed the little wallabies - I buy the birdseed from the local Drakes Supermarket in Kingscote - but you can also put out your vegetable scraps - they especially love carrots and lettuce!

Lots of native Australian birds including parrots, blue wrens and of course magpies fly around the many trees.

The back deck is amazing - great both day and night. It is really spacious and well protected and has a large outdoor dining table and chairs and a gas Weber BBQ. There is plenty of lighting directed out onto the garden so you still have lovely bush views even at night and can see any wallabies easily!

The log combustion fire in the kitchen, lounge and dining area makes the house warm and cosy in the winter months. Wood is provided and there is plenty of kindling to be found outside. Also a split system air conditioner and heater.

All linen and bath towels are provided.
The two main bedrooms have a King bed with ensuite bathroom and a Queen bed. Both these beds have electric blankets so you can be nice and snug in bed in the winter months. Both bedrooms have bedside tables with lamps, beautiful bush views and the beds are really comfortable! The third bedroom has two single beds - great for kids. The fourth bedroom has a Double-Single bunk bed plus a desk - great for doing a little bit of work if necessary.

We have a porta cot & high chair for the young...
And a rocking chair for the old!

Walk to the beach from the house... - the beach is down the driveway, directly across the road at the end of a little path through the bush - dogs love it and there’s barely a soul to see once on the beach ....

We have lots of games, including scrabble, Rummy, Uno and cards to occupy the kids. Plus colouring in pencils and children's story books.

We also have totem tennis, a cricket set, lots of soccer and footy balls - Fun for any kids! There is plenty of open space for cricket, footy or to kick a soccer ball.

Kangaroo Island is definitely well recovered after the bushfires.... luckily Magpie Park was untouched by the fires. Thank you!
