Great access to water. Home furnished with a lot of day-to-day items. Group of 9 - plenty of room for everyone to have their own hangout space. Short drive to great seafood restaurants.

House was beautiful and confortable. Exactly as shown online. A few little things.... the upstairs did not have a filter for thr AC , the downstairs had a very dirty filter. Also the upstairs room the door did not close qll thr way. It had about a 1/2 gap thag let air in from the balcany. But all in all we wpuld stay there again!

Another Great Experience!

Our family has stayed at this property for five years. The upgrades are amazing! The house was cool and stayed cool, clean, smelled good, and you can’t beat the neighborhood and private beach! We will continue staying at the Kahala House for years to come!

Fantastic!!!!

We had an amazing time at this property. It had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. There was a kettle, a coffee machine, a Keurig, and all the essential items you would need for using the kitchen. The washer and dryer were also new and made life so much easier being able to run some laundry during our stay. The bathrooms had multiple towels available for all guests and were clean. The location to the beach was perfect, just a very short walk over the walk way, the balconies all had very comfortable furniture and the outdoor shower made rinsing off from the beach so easy!! The grill was not usable at all, but the owner let me know that even though it was only a year old standing out in the elements and the salty air doesn’t help. I think if guests were to clean it properly after use and it got covered when not in use would help majorly.There is also a small store a few minutes away from the property and has everything you could possibly need while on vacation. I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Half and half

We had a few issues - when we arrived there was no toilet paper. We did reach out immediately and they said they would bring toilet paper over in the morning. Someone did finally bring some mid afternoon the next day, but not having toilet paper was not ideal. They also forgot to provide paper towels.There were some dead roaches on the floor upstairs and the plumbing in one of the bathrooms did not work - we did report the issue but that was not resolved while we were there, so we did not have use of one bathroom the entire 4 days. The outdoor shower also did not work but they did resolve this during our stay.There were lots of good things though. The location is wonderful, even though it is second row there is a fantastic view of the beach and great outdoor space and seating. (Not the house's fault but the bedrooms are loud and back up to the main road. I used a sound machine and was good so you might want to throw one in your bag too.) There is an expresso machine and stocked coffee so that was a lovely treat. The master bed is also super comfortable and the linens are towels are nice. The main room where we hung out as a family was large, comfortable and has beach views. The house does not include any beach supplies like chairs. This may be the norm in Galveston, so I say this not as a complaint, but rather a heads up to make your stay better. I would have planned better myself had I known I needed to bring those items.

Beautiful beach house on 2nd row in Kahala Beach

The house was immaculate and had three balconies from which to enjoy the view. Even though on the 2nd row, you have an awesome view to the beach / walkway right across the street. The property manager & owner were so accommodating on early check in and the overall trip was an A- with the only negative being stuck in the elevator for a few minutes (which was rectified by the repair man). I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Beautiful home

This home was perfect for our large family! The neighborhood is perfect, it's walking distance to the beach, and it's totally wheelchair accessible. Perfect for large families. The property owner was extremely kind. We would love to stay there again some day.

This was the perfect beach home for us, our kids, and grandkids. It has so many amenities and special touches that we hadn’t anticipated. Enjoyed cooking in the beautiful fully stocked kitchen, dinner on the large balcony, room for everyone, and daily fun at the beach. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful home and excellent location!

Our family (adult siblings and our kids) fit comfortably here and loved the views and beach access right in front of the house! There are stores nearby that are well stocked if you forget anything, or just want to wait to grocery shop until you get down there. The house was very clean and comfortable and well decorated. We loved the open kitchen and bar seating so that we could all gather and hang out! I would definitely recommend it and stay there again!
