Mammoth Estates is located in the heart of it all, walking distance to the Village at Mammoth, in a quaint and quiet forest mountain setting. This two-bedroom, two-bath property is pet friendly, and offers a spacious two-story layout. Near The Village at Mammoth, and across the street from the bus stop, the location is unbeatable with shops, restaurants, and Gondola access all within walking distance. On the upper level of the cabin, is an open floor plan living, dining and kitchen. The comfortable sectional offers a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping, and you can cozy around the wood burning fireplace, or catch a movie or the game on the large flatscreen Smart TV with cable. This home offers a private deck and forest setting. A dining space for 8 allows family meals, and the fully stocked kitchen makes food preparation easy. The full kitchen features stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar seating for 3. On the lower level are the two bedrooms, the guest bedroom features two twin beds and flatscreen TV. The full bathroom in the hall offers a tub/shower combo. The primary bedroom features a King bed, flatscreen TV and a private en-suite with tub/shower combo. The home has wood flooring in the upper level, new furnishings and sleeps a maximum of 6 people. This townhome is non-smoking, and allows one pet. A Short walk to the year round amenities Mammoth Estates has to offer such as the Game Room, Jacuzzi and Sauna. Take a plunge in the beautiful pool in hot summer months or just soak in the sun surrounded by beautiful landscape. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Our calendar is updated in real time. This condo was comfortable and was good for our small family. The only issue we had was the TV's in the bedrooms - both were not working. The master had a remote but it didn't work despite switching out the batteries. The other tv didn't even turn on, not even sure if it was plugged into the wall.

Great Location

We stayed for a last minute trip to Mammoth over Thanksgiving and you cannot beat this location. Walking distance to the village and gondola. The unit seems to have been re-furnished to contemporary furniture, based on older reviews that complained about the older furnishings. Check-in/out process required us to pick up and drop off parking passes at the property manager office, which was slightly inconvenient, but overall great stay.

Great location, short walk to the village

Easy walk to the village. Even with the storm bringing 4ft overnight, it was an east 5 min walk to the village, with two kids under 11. Nice condo, bedrooms downstairs are a bit cold, but fireplace upstairs is really nice for game nights. If you plan on cooking, pots and pans and cooking utensils are provided, but you’ll need to bring anything else (oils, spices, aluminum foil, etc.) Really great they allow dogs, ours really loved her trip to the snow!

The unit was decent but had a few issues, such as noisy wall heater, and some leaks around the bathroom faucet. Otherwise it was pretty decent, but definitely not a luxury stay.

Mammoth Bday Trip

My wife and I have been going to Mammoth for 30 years. We have stayed in other units at Mammoth Estates. This unit had a severe cigarette smell in the entire unit. It also smelled of animal urine. The stove top didnt work so we could not cook our meals.

The negatives are that nothing has been updated and the owners use the closets for storage such as for shower doors. Also the coffee maker needs to be replaced if you stay there and drink coffee bring your own coffee maker.

Reviewer Comments: Very functional but needs some things: King bed lower floor mattress has a sink "hole" on west side (by the window; needs rotation or replacement); Kitchen sink needs a "catch" on right, non-disposal side. Front door bottom needs weather-stripping. Roku TV is great but couldn't it be placed upstairs in living area OR hung on bedroom wall? Love the autumn morning light coming in. So glad to have this unit be pet friendly. Great to be in Mammoth this time of year.

Liked this unit, will return

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been here before, 3-4 yrs. ago, seems better. TV/streaming was good and fairly easy to figure out. Like the carpeted stairs. Internet was good but maybe because no one was in town this week. Only big complaint that the hot tub in the complex was out for reconstruction. Pool was operable though but did not use. First night a bear tipped over the dumpster out front. Fortunately it was latched and didn't open or spill. There is no code lock on it and only had a latch on one side. It's generally an issue that the reservation office only gives you one bath towel for a week, and there were no bath mats in the shower/tubs (easily could slip on a soapy surface). One towel bar in one bath was not attached. Large king bed in the master bedroom but the blankets were oddly small. Heat worked well, though. All said, would return to this unit as it takes pets and we enjoyed our stay.

Good location, needs upgrades

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was super. The issues were that since this rental was gratefully a pet friendly one (since I was traveling with dogs I was happy for), you can assume there may be a lingering knowledge that pets stay there. That said, the carpet in the downstairs had urine stains all over it and spelled of urine. The couch was pretty well used in a way that made it feel kinda crusty and more textural than it should.
