Beautiful unit at the end of the wing. You have so much privacy it feels like you have the lodge to yourself. The grounds are stunning especially since we hit peak foliage (totally lucky)! There are a number of activities for all ages and if you want to experience the village or hiking , they are nearby. We chose to stay mostly at the lodge. Very relaxing.

Slice of Heaven

Definitely coming back

Awesome place stay. I loved the lodge and the property. Both restaurants were excellent and the service was very friendly. The unit was perfect. Very clean and all the amenities needed. I also find the village got an upgrade during COVID. Whiteface is a great ski resort, lots of steeps and no waiting. Finally, Tim was very responsive and offered great service. I’m definitely going back.

Its worth it.

Biggest issue was check in we had to wait 1hr for room to ne ready only to be given wrong room, then having to wait another 15 20mins to have that issue corrected. Other than that the room itself was clean spacious and well kept. Property was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on premises was ok a bit pricey for quality. Restaurants near by were great and supermarket right across the street was convenient. Would stay again.

Francisco, So glad you enjoyed the Suite and the Resort....it really is a special place! I am sorry you experienced that mishap when checking in. Because you are renting a specific unit directly from an owner, I am not sure how the front desk can mess that up! And I do apologize. This has to be the first time I have ever heard that, but yes, I can understand how that would be frustrating. I do always provide the Suite Number to the Guest so I am glad you were able to recognize the error and rectify the situation. Thank you for the great feedback and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am happy to have you back again in the future. We have a number of suites all throughout the property, larger and smaller to accommodate any of your guest needs. Whiteface Lodge is the place to stay

We love going to Lake Placid for our annual pre-Christmas vacation and we had an absolute blast on our stay. The property has so much to offer on even the coldest of Lake Placid days, making it the perfect winter getaway. The property was clean and hospitality was great.

Fabulous Lake Placid Stay

This was our third trip to Lake Placid in the past decade and was absolutely wonderful. Our first time staying at Whiteface Lodge and would highly recommend! It is a very self contained place, if you want that but is also just a minute away from the amenities of the downtown. Luxury, top of the line amenities, and the most incredible staff there to meet your needs. We absolutely LOVED it there.

Great property

Very nice suite in one of Lake Placid’s best properties. Rustic-luxe Adirondack decor throughout creates a homey ambiance. The room was clean and comfortable. Mornings and evenings were spent reading on the porch while my wife enjoyed the gas fireplace. The resort offers many activities that my family enjoyed. Swimming, tennis, pickleball, roller / street hockey, bocce, basketball and various lawn games. The 50 person movie theater played different full movies 3x/day. The game room was a hit for our son. He discovered a love for bubble hockey while my wife found that she loves bowling. The is also air hockey, fooseball, billards, ping pong and others. All games are free ( including the 2 lane bowling alley. The on-site restaurants and bar were great. We had a great time and would consider staying again

Plenty of activities

Our stay at the Whiteface Lodge was fantastic! Our room was clean and had plenty of space. We enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, outdoor games, kayaks, and bowling alley. It was close to the high peaks and town. We can’t wait to return!

The room and property were beautiful.

The room was immaculate. Very spacious and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. I would absolutely recommend this property. Looking forward to staying there again.

Amazing resort and unit!

We were overwhelmed by the facilities at Whiteface Lodge—the pool, the hot tubs, the grounds, and even the evening s’mores! The unit itself was large with comfortable furnishings and a large corner porch where we sat and enjoyed to fresh air and views of the mountains. Will definitely return!
